The oval here was the base point for our stage 2 of the cape to cape mountain bike event- I found the cache after todays mountain bike ride here tftc
#5806 On the move again on our WA adventures heading from Northcliffe to Busellton. Nannup a strategic stop for supplies, lunch and geopooch walk. Not found immediately but it was there in the logical spot for a good hide. This cache would not have survived the 1982 flood. That one was just about off the scale!! TFTC Diadem.
Cool spot , go the right path cause going the left was is slippery with the dirt there is a pen already in it, in container, watch for snakes and wasps . Have fun
Mrs T had identified Nannup as worth a visit so, after my chosen diversion to Green bushes (it is my birthday after all) we headed here via the lovely road from Balingup.Ate our local bakery lunch - very good - in the park and then set off on the river walk. Unfortunately the river is rather low and not flowing at present so rather devoid of life - and still no black cockatoo seen!Lots of spiders webs here with heaven knows what owners but luckily the cache was clear of them
Embarking on a caching road trip in the South West region of Western Australia, the goal was twofold: tidy up the map by revisiting familiar caches and explore new ones in uncharted territories. This journey promised a unique blend of nostalgia and discovery, weaving through both familiar landscapes and venturing into unexplored territories for a geocaching adventure filled with variety and surprises.Thank you Diadem for placing this cache for my enjoyment. Apologies for the generic log.
Found it TFTC Found in good condition. Finished work at the winery leaving tomorrow thought we'd better do these
Gorgeous spot to stop and make a cuppa after arriving in Nannup for a few more smilies.2nd find in Nannup, another nice quick one.Thank you Diadem for placing and maintaining Bridge @Nannup for us and others to find and enjoy
A quick find before heading back to Perth. Thanks Diadem, we really enjoyed all your caches.
We went for an evening stroll along the river walk and back to the caravan park via the town, picking up caches and AdLab points along the way. Thanks to all concerned.
I found it but couldn't reach it. Luckily Mr C is taller than me! What a great old bridge.
Just where it said it would be . Quick find then a walk with our dog to the river. Tftc
What a great bridge. I particularly liked the flood height tree. Thanks for bringing me here.
Enjoyed the caches on this pleasant walk trail.
TFTC Diadem and TaurusSix this is find #15132 for us.

In Nannup for the Forest Rally WA 2023 so while the Big Kid took the Turdler and Elanaughty for his road closure stage shift, Belle, Baby Charles and I got to explore Nannup a little bit. Belle is injured so we didn’t get to enjoy the walk through nature much and had to drive to most of the caches. Still a great day. Signed as Axe, Belle and Baby Charles or ABBC. Big Mick is working so missed out on this adventure.
Thanks for the caches, we had a lovely day

Day Three: Southwestern LGAs.
Weather: It’s turned wintery!
One of six caches found wandering around Nannup on foot. It’s my first time here; I’ve detoured here primarily to claim the LGA, but I’m so glad that I did; great little town and of course the drive here through the forests is pretty spectacular.
Thanks for all the caches Diadem and TaurusSix.
It’s officially a mega!

Thanks for placing and maintaining this series for us to enjoy. We enjoyed the walk along the river finding a few caches along the way. We had a Kangaroo visit us and then hop away under the bridge
With Mr dimor having a couple of days off I thought a little road trip to grab some caches to get a tally of 100 for the month, sadly still many more finds to go.
Last time we where here it was for the Tulip festival a few years back so time for another visit.
TFTC
Wow a massive flood height for 1982.
I sighted but got Mr dimor to grab this one as don’t trust my footing too much, not his was any better.
TFTC
Now time for a walk to grab others

I managed to get a few days off over the holiday period so we decided to spend it in the southwest.
WE had lunch then I headed over to grab this one. The ground was a bit slippery under foot but I managed to make the grab.

I stopped to log your 4 @ caches while visiting Nannup. All were found in great condition. Thanks for showcasing this path along the river and for the caches.
Random geocaching, a leg stretch on a work trip from Perth to Bridgetown to Busselton and back for the day TFTC
Out with some muggle family showing them what it's all about. The hint helped more than the coord .
Found. With a cycle tour taking place in town, we grabbed this cache to stay out of the way. Hopefully we will be back for more. TFTC
Thanks Diadem, another find with Jimmytherat on our W.A. road trip. Sent the sacrificial lamb down the slippery slope after some overnight rain. Nice hide,
TFTC Diademandtaurussix. Nicely placed. Great day for caching. Jimmytherat with Noelle04
Nannup is a beautiful little town - always enjoy visiting when passing through to visit our son in Margaret River. Quick find although we think terrain should be at least a 2 due to steep and slippery incline at gz. Thanks for the cache.
