Clifton Day 2Today our 1st stop being Nobby then as far north as WyreemaWe toured the farming country side, the wattle along the side of the road looked amazing. We went to mnany interesting location & found some very good caches. A number of fishing pole caches included. This was certainly the largest container I have found in ages. Interesting reading the description. Thanks FlutterBeryl for hiding this cache.
Out and about this morning on another glorious day in South East Queensland. I have a few challenge caches on the radar at the moment so I headed into the Lockyer and Toowoomba regions to collect a few caches required to move me towards the tick of approval.Found a safe place to park the car and made my way swiftly to ground zero. Cache was located quickly and in good condition. Log extracted and moniker added.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache and making it available to be found.Cheers
I was out and about and decided to pull over to grab this cache. Cannot say no to a large size cache . The CO is correct - the story is very interesting. Have a FP. Thank you FlutterBeryl for placing this cache for me to enjoy!
A quick tidy up of the cache, empty the leaf litter and check leaks. This is one very happy cache.Left some more swaps - school bags, beer can holders. Hopefully some one soon will draw some lovely art... Plenty of room in the log books.Saw Mr Mengel as well he's a lovely chap!
Today is my last chance to get out to do some caching before we head off on an extended trip O/S. I was also looking for some caches that would boost my Terrain rating, so hopefully this will help.I was interested to read the history of this location - who's ever heard of a church giving land back!Yep! That is definitely Large! Cache was found in good order and left the same way. TFTC
Our first one for today. What a fun cache. . Cache is in mint condition . AFP from us. Definitely not a micro in the bush.
A real easy find, the container wasn't too hard to spot.We read cache page about the history of the area and found it interesting. Then just as we were about to go a ute pulls up and the farmer driving asks if we want to know anything more about the monument. We said sure and it turned out to be the property owner. He was a really nice fellow and we ended up talking for almost 20mins about the area and the history of his family. We're so glad we stopped, it was the highlight of our day.TFTC
Put to grab our 3000th cache. We were sad this wasnt it (8 to go!) massive cache! Tftc
Heading to Warwick for a few days of caching and decided to come via Gatton/Clifton Road and we diverted to collect a few caches before it gets too hot.
Out and about caching today - arrived at GZ. This was the biggest cache found today, in fact the biggest for a really long time. TFTC
Wow!! Never seen a large one before! Whilst looking after my 2 young cousins on school holidays we made the journey after seeing it was a large cache container Thankyou!
Great cache. Awesome size, great story, permission sought. 10/10 Miss FlutterBeryl ??
After a walk up Wilsons Peak, the green geckos & I saw on our map a large container as we headed north for Mt Peel. Spotting
By far the largest cache we've ever found and this marks our 700th find. TFTC! Nice easy find for the geodog's 1st birthday adventure.
My geodog Scruffy wanted to look for some caches, so I thought "why not?"
So we headed out & tried to fill in a few gaps
All Good .. TFTC ..

After visiting the Classic Cars & Warbirds show at the airport, I headed out in the wind to find a couple of geocaches.
A bit of a drive to these two but 2 guaranteed quick finds is always a good start.
A quick find and the cache is in good condition.
Thanks for the geocaches.

Interested to learn this was the site of a Lutheran church back in the day. Then to find such a large cache! Thanks
Spending some time in Warwick and visiting local areas combined with a lovely walk up Mt Mitchell.
Enjoyed venturing around this nice district and marvelled at all the large crop fields that span for miles.
After reading the cache description, I thought this would be well worth the visit. Such an interesting piece of information about the Heinrich family, and having taken care of 15 children back in the day would be no mean feat.
Wow, thanks FlutterBeryl for this very large hide. It was such a surprise! I didn't have time to be creative in the log book, so there is no bonus for me, however a FP for you

Took a drive out of town after work to grab a cache for a calendar day. Quick find of the big container and stamped the log.

After stopping in Leyburn for some food, Peppa and I were headed to Nobby to meet up with Davinells and he was insistent we stop here on the way. Thanks for the fun FlutterBeryl
After paddling the Condamine Beardman75 and I are making our way to the next event at the Golf Club… just in a very roundabout way…
I thought we were going to miss this one as we sped along… but some keen map reading made it all possible… and maybe a little flailing from the passengers seat…

Well today was going to be a big day. I had planned to meet up with Willis007 and we were going to do some paddle caches before a CITO event. Then quickly after the Cito get away so as we had time to collect a few other target caches in the area and a few as we passed by. I still needed an adventure lab in there somewhere and a multi or a letterbox.
We are now working our way towards a particular cache and towards Toowoomba for an event. We stopped at this one as we were passing. This was a quick find for us today. We signed the log and replaced as found and then continued on to the next one, thanks for the hide, oh and a large container too.

After a lovely morning paddling along the Condamine River and attending the CITO, chamad and I headed further afield to collect some caches in the area.
Thanks FlutterbySquishy for the cache.

Recent maintenance. Container good. Plenty of pens await for the first artistic drawing.
Might have to find a few more swaps...
Please replace directly behind tree when you have found it, and put some natural camo on top.
I will repaint when there's less rain about..

TFTC! Sorry fully read the description after finding and umm arrived at 6.20pm, so night time! What a cache find though!
Wow , what a huge cache, bit windy today so couldn’t use my drawing skills, thanks for maintaining this cache. A FP from us
Doing a wander of the back roads and figured we would collect this one. As I was not driving I enjoyed reading the thorough history on the cache page. Unfortunately no time for drawing today as the mozzies were pretty bad under the tree cover and I am super sensitive to bites.
Next, I came to this cache. A quick find was made and the log signed. I returned everything as found, then continued on my way. TFTC
We are on a 2 month trip from Portland via the Mundi Mundi Bash to a wedding in Brisbane and then out west for QOGM in Charleville.
Today we are travelling from Goondiwindi to Nobby where we will set up at the free camp that is only metres from the train line! Wow what a lovely big cache full of nice stuff - a favourite for the effort, we still have our container after bringing it back from Morriset under the bed in the caravan.
Thanks for contributing to the fun FlutterbySquishy

Out caching on the day after International Geocaching Day. It is Sunday, love caching on a Sunday. Love caching any day. Headed out this side of Toowoomba for a day of fun.
Saw this one arrive a few weeks ago. Read the Cache Description, and commented on how interesting it is. Today, finally in the area, and not only is the description interesting, so too is the cache hide and location.
What one humongously large cache here. Geat story, great hide Flutterbysquishy
Promised you a fave point, you have not dissappointed.

A day out visiting the Warwick area with a friend for some outdoor therapy. It was just after dark when we arrived here...which we only did knowing it was a large and should be easy enough to find in the dark...which it was. But due to said darkness I only scribed my name in the log...no artistry from me. Thanks for the history. TFTC FlutterbySquishy.
Well it is a large cache, sorry I am not a artist so no picture. Thanks for putting this one out to find
**FTF** with Caro and WallabyWanderers after a big day out and on a bit of an FTF streak we thought why not one more. A bit of a stumble trip but eventually got into GZ to find the log book. While signing the log I’m glad my butt didn’t get too tangled on the barb wire close by. Great hide and TFTC FlutterbySquishy
**FTF** Always love to see a new green dot appear on the map, and caching with friends makes finding all the more fun We were treated to a pretty country sunset here and were pleased to make the find and get out before it was too dark. Containers this size are quite rare and I have never seen so much swag in a cache before. Giving a favourite point for all of the effort put into the cache description and cache itself. Thanks also for the FTF prize!
Not rushing out for a first to find, but wanted to thank the Cache Owner for a wonderfully interesting history - and yes, I did read it all the way through.
Let there be more like this. When I get up there to find it, will be awarding a favourite point

I love large containers. I have driven past this spot twice a day (almost) every day for the last 11 years, and have never noticed the monument before. Ive always seen the Kia Ora road sign though. Because this was on my direct route home from work I thought I'd get a first to find. So pulled up just after dark and after shining the torch around a little found the cache, took the most direct route in and nope. Pipped at the post by 3 someone elses.
Maybe next time.
