Umm The cache is actually there people! Please dont assume that the hint means swinging in any plant material. When you find the cache youll understand that the cache is actually swinging on something, in a gap
that's really odd, we were sure we were at the right location but no luck with this one
It is time to complete a couple of AdLabs in Rotorua and any nearby real caches.I haven't been out this for ages.Cheers for the cache, Squirrel Nutcase.
We headed down from Auckland on a day trip today with our sights set on the Lake Okareka caches. Wed never visited the lake before and even though we knew it would be beautiful we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived in the carpark. There were a few people around but not as many as we expected and most were connected to the Waka Ama club. After walking down to the lakeside and enjoying the view we headed over to search for the cache. Fortunately GZ was muggle free and after a bit of poking around we soon had the cache in hand. What a perfect place for it. Now to explore the walkway. TFTC
Decided to make use of the lovely fine day and do some local caches. First one today. TFTC
Out here on an Adventure Lab, be rude not to grab this whilst in the area! Tftc!
We came down to Boyes Beach after visiting Waimangu Volcanic Valley for a quick swim. It was Bonkers here! I sat and thought about this one after a bit of searching and the cache was revealed. Was even quiet at this point to sign the log.TFTC squirrel nutcase
Out this way with eyespyben so decided to do the walk around the trackVery hot and very busy trackBut a clever wee hide thanks
Over for the day and time to gather a few caches along the way. This one caused me to walk around behind it as I was attempting to avoid the people enjoying the beach. Once I finally got to GZ I was able to quickly grab Thank you for the placement.
Excellent cache, one of those ones that people will be kicking themselves once they realise. Some times you need to search with your hands
This one had us puzzled for a while. Read previous logs and got an idea of where cache wasn’t. A few more minutes and there in was, as per hint item. Sneaky. Tftc
It's been quite a while since we last visited Rotorua. Today, we cruised over, collecting a few of the many caches that have been published since we were here last. What a lovely park and lakeside area this is. We have been here before, but it was great to be reminded of the beautiful gems here. Thanks for the placement, Squirrel Nutcase
Great area and well worthy of a cachethe well positioned hide took me a minute or two to sus. And all was revealed thanks Squirrel for a nice tidy hide a great day weather wise although a tad on the chilly side lol
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches.
Took awhile. Read the activity and soon had a smiley. Earns a Favourite from me.
Found with Fisha1288
Cheers, Cympull.

Checked on the cache and it is still on site. It had fallen from its hook but was otherwise safe and sound. Don’t always assume that the hint means it’s in the bushes… Just saying.
Searched anything swinging and ruffled the leaves down below but couldn't find this cache..Maybe next time...
Searched high and low but couldn't find anything. Looking into the sun through the trees didn't help either.
Nice walk after a stormy Cyclone night, not swinging but found him in the gap, greetings from Austria, TFTC
I had a go at this one as i went past, but didn't find it. I did find something that fitted where the hint suggested, but no cache.
I was aware of a previous finder saying it was no longer swinging, so checked the ground around the area with no luck.
I thought I'd give it another crack on the way back past and was chuffed to find it in the garden about 6mts from the place that matched the hint. I hung it back up where I thought it should go. Hopefully that's the right place.
Thanks for setting this up

Took longer than I should have. No longer swinging but findable
Thanks and happy new year Hemi.

Man this place is crowded! there was no space left in the car park, cars were lined up on the roadside .the grass was also chocka. What is amazing is that after I did the series of caches along here and and was heading back to the car, probably an hour and a half later, the place was even more crowded!!
So rather than stand out, and be subtle like a brick, so I leapt the barrier and attacked this from the rear, from inside the trees. I was expecting a bison in a tree, but from the other side the find was very fast and, well, not as expected

Found this out in the open but put back as close can get to GZ (2m). Brilliant spot. TFTC
First cache of the day and we had a hunt on our hands. Stood back and thought and then the cache was ours! TFTC
Down in Rotorua for the weekend with AliGle, staying with her family. Our second visit to this walk and a few more caches to find this time, we also bumped into NZFlossy who was caching in the area too, so we found a few caches with her. Reading previous logs helped narrow down the hiding place for this one. TFTC!
Had to leave this one to find The rest of them on this lovely walk way. Got back had another look around and sharp eyes by Mr PorknPuha found it.
Wowwww that one took us forever to find. Yep swinging in the bloody gab. Not what you think.
A not so quick find, grab, sign and flee.

Back to do the walk that has got a few caches on it I was just standing in middle of the bushes thinking about swinging and a good spot when another cacher came up and asked if I was caching. She then reminded me about the importance of reading the cache page and she had read aninteresting log Lol no problem and I backed out of the bushes and knew where it would be and sure enough I quickly had the tidy cache in hand. Thanks Hemi TFTC
Down in Rotorua with Vistra for a few days. We'd been to this location before but ended up cutting our caching short when we got caught in a downpour. Reading the logs certainly helped find this one. Nice to meet Flossy who was looking for the cache too.
Blundering around getting nowhere then looked at the attributes and changed my approach. Found the gap and soon the cache was in hand. TFTC.

After failing on my way past I did have to resort to PAW (Phone a Wife) to come and make good on my DNF, she made short work of it, I can't remember if I told her the additional hint I got for my PAF for some guidance, I did have a quick peek on my way back past heading for the van waiting for me in the carpark, and yes the hint does make sense once I had seen it!
TNLN TFTC!!

We were completing the ALC "Tour around the Rotorua lakes" and decided to have a walk around part of this lake to pick up these trads as well. A great walk and the promised rain held off thankfully. This one took far too long for us to find. We had a look then gave up briefly and walked to find the other caches. On arrival back here we were determined to find it and eventually did, TFTC
Put with a couple of the kids today geocaching this was the first cache of the day and it was freezing cold with the wind here today. We searched for a while with no luck had to call out to the CO for help not a great start to the day. Cache was exactly as the hint said and coordinates were good we were just slack lucky for us the rest of the day went without a hitch. Thanks for the cache.

Day off and looking at an area to do some geocaching and yours came up. Cool an area I've been meaning to do for a while. Have been doing a lot of geocaching in the rain lately and I enjoy it as long as it's not too windy. Today was nice and still. Quickly found. Tftc
