Logs
Found during a caching circuit from Wartook, Zumsteins, Halls Gap and Heatherlie Quarry while staying at Horsham for the mid-week. Thanks for the cache Duntulum!
Searched height and low without success. Didnt have any mobile service so couldnt look through past logs or look for the hint. Read the signs that were quite interesting about the Zumstein family. TFTC
In all the times I've been here, been past here, through here, I've never managed to wander into this area and check it out, thanks for the excuse to finally do so, and I loved the swimming pool
What an amazing spot, would never have known it was here or even stopped without the cache, thanks for bringing us here.
I found it but didnt bring a pen. Ill put an x with charcoal. Then Ive signed the log.
Found on day #2 of our camping weekend. Must confess I have been going to the grampians all my life but never crossed over the river to see Zumsteins propery. Glad we did, it must have been quite the place back in the day. All is well with the cache. TFTC Duntulum.
I visited Zumsteins many years ago, but had no idea that there were cottages here. The old photo albums were very interesting. The cache was found very quickly in the logical spot.
So many memories here from days gone by for one half of the team who visited here regularly feeding the kangaroos, such a shame it closed because of the incident.Today we both wandered around the historic site, exploring all the buildings that remain with me giving running commentary of buying feed for the kangas at the kiosk. We made the cache find harder than it should have been but we got there in the end before continuing along the winding road to Halls Gap.Thanks Duntulum for the placement and the memories.
Was a bit tricky to find but we got there in the end. Muggles will never find this one haha
We were in the area today and after our previous DNF we felt the need to redeem ourselves. No problems here today, right where our GPS wanted us to be. SL TFTC
Well, wasn't this one just another unexpected surprise!!
You have a certain expectation when you read 'mint tin' as the cache type, so had a bit of a chuckle when I found this one!!
Lovely little history lesson and tour nearby. I've been up to this area a few times in the past, but can't remember having visited this spot? What a treat!
Had to wait out a few muggles before replacing the cache to its hiding spot after signing the log and continuing along!

This one had a going for a few moments until Mrs Riddell widened the search… bingo a simple hide.
Nicely hidden.
TFTC and this little walk and lovely historical tour.

We are not sure what went wrong for us here today, we hunted and searched but there was no sign of the cache for us today.
**Wat is het leven toch mooi **
Another day on the Great Ocean Road and up to the Grampians
The weather was cold, windy and wet. We deceided that we go to an old cache, Towering Inferno. After a short walk to a nice area, we found the cache after 15 minutes searching.
Then we did some other caches on our way to the Grampians.
We often log with our initals TGM (Team_Geo-Meijer)
Greetings from the Netherlands.
We also found this one during our roadtrip.
Duntulum hartelijk dank voor het leggen en onderhouden van deze cache.
Groetjes,
Team Geo Meijer (TGM)

We decided to visit waterfalls early on day two of our visit to the Grampians due to all the recent rain. We planned to do the Mackenzie River track from the top but it was closed due to too much water. We had already done the car swap so drove back down and walked in the area. Peaceful and interesting location. Tftc
What an amazing man that Mr Zumstein must have been in his time.
So many families would have great memories of their holiday times here.
Thanks for sharing this piece of local hisotry with us.
Well done to Duntulum for this placement. A favourite.
