With a free afternoon, I asked Swimmagurl if she was interested in finding the Geocaches in Coolamon. She said, sure why not. So off we went. Once in Coolamon, we found a couple of caches and while heading off to the first AL WP, Swimmagurl zoomed out the map and discovered another AL about a 10 minute drive in Ganmain. So we headed to Ganmain and that is when I opened my app which showed all the new caches there which has only just been published TODAY (about 1:20pm-ish). We really had no idea that these had been released until we arrived in Ganmain about an hour and half later. Anyway, that was perfect timing. Well there you go, three bonus FTFs to add to the collection. Once we found the rest of the caches, we headed back to Coolamon to finish todays real mission. I ended up with 15 finds and Swimmagurl ended up with 26 finds. It was a great afternoon out and seeing all these new/return sites around the Coolamon shire. TB visit. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTCs! I'm glad that I kept the AL answers. After solving GZ and finding the caches around the cemetery, we headed over to GZ of this one. After arriving we both said, yes that is where it is hidden. Long grass but it didn't bother me but it did bother Swimmagurl. Thankfully a quick find was had and we got out of there as quick as possible. Thanks for another great AL and bonus. I have given you a FP. Thanks
I wasn't doing much this afternoon so I decided to go caching. I looked at the map and decided to finish off Coolamon. After a detour to Ganmain, I went back to Coolamon to find the rest of the caches I had missed. As my third cache of the day I had a snake jump scare, I was very weary of snakes for the rest of the afternoon. This was my 24th find out of 26 finds for the day. That was some long grass to walk through. Quick Find!TFTC!
Completed the AL a couple of days ago but only got around to the bonus today. All in good condition. TFTAL and the bonus The Drovers. A fave awarded
Woo Woo, time to head west again.Heading back to SA after a Mega time in Canberra. Peas&CarrotsForever and myself have our house on wheels following us along the roads, stopping occasionally for silo art and caches TFTC The DroversKeep smiling
Heading back home to Adelaide after attending the Capital Mega bash event. I made a few detours to find some caches in new LGAs. I enjoyed the Adventure Lab but the question at the pioneer clock took me ages to find. The bonus cache however was a quick find after calculating the final. Thank you The Drovers, for placing TD 064 - Coolamon Charm AL Bonus for the geocaching community.# # #14794 # #
With Featherwaite we're on our way to Canberra for the GeoBash Mega over Easter. On our way we set our route to take in LGAs that I have no finds in. Day 1 we made it to Narrandera and Day 2 we arrived in Canberra.Unless stated this cache is in good condition.Apologies for the generic log.TFTC
Found with Team Waldron on our way to the Capital GeoBash in Canberra over the Easter long weekend. Thanks for the Adventure Lab and bonus cache The Drovers!
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Wending our way towards Canberra for the Mega. Staying a couple of days in Wagga Wagga. Today we decided to head out and tackle the caches in the triangle. Friends, Crops and some of the streets caches. Well sure enough we were too ambitious and fell short on our lengthy list. Great weather today, with a cool start. We soon enough were over tree climbs so they became DNA (did not attempt) but as time got shorter there were a few others that had previous DNF and we skipped on past aswell, sorry, but theres only so many hours in a day. [B)]We saw some great caches and clever camo. Been a long time between finds for alot of these caches and the animals have certainly disturbed some, the tethers are also either stiff or snapped on a few aswell.Mrs Felix failed at stage 3. What a mission. Mr F rescued the situation eventually. No problem with the bonus.TFTC The Drovers
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - The Drovers [^]
Adelaide and train trip Day 15. Travel Hay to Canberra via Narrandera, Coolamon, Wagga Wagga and Yass. Eventually this time away has come to an end and it is time to head home. The morning started with the log run to Narrandera and then I took to some back roads to get to Coolamon for some newish caches before heading to Wagga Wagga for fuel and lunch. Next was to see if I could get to Yass for any of the events there. I was happy to make it in time for the standard event and the Munzee event and catch up with people there. Finally it drove home and unpacked the car ready for chores to start tomorrow.I spent some time driving around town looking at the LABS and then to the cemetery for a cache before heading to this cache location. I had to expand my search a bit, but I managed to find it in a nice spot. Thanks for the cache The Drovers44767.3 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Equator A#19**Albida**
I found this cache as I headed home to Adelaide after the QOGM events around Longreach. The plan was to be away for about a month. I travelled up to Longreach via Broken Hill, Cunnamulla, Charleville and Barcaldine, camping and finding caches of interest along the way. I am heading back home via Brisbane and the NSW coast to Sydney, then across to Adelaide. However my plans are pretty loose and subject to change, often on a whim! The weather so far has been good, albeit a little warm at times. I am hoping it stays good for the rest of the trip.I have had to be quite selective with the caches I have found as there are so many that I am passing. As a result I have mostly targeted non-traditional cache types, although I have also grabbed a few Trads opportunistically here and there. Thanks The Drovers for the Adventure Lab and bonus cache, which has contributed to an interesting and enjoyable trip.
DAY 1
After much planning, saving and extra mods to the 4WD we are finally on our way to Longreach to take part in the QOGM festivities. We have just over a week to get there, so a route was planned to encompass uncharted LGA’s as we zig zag our way through NSW, as well as a slight detour to Coffs Harbour to visit family. Will we make it in time? Who knows, but we are going to give it a good shot.
With the light now starting to fade we were able to pick up the bonus cache before leaving the lovely town of Coolamon.
Thanks The Drovers for the Bonus placement.

A pleasure to be back in the lovely Town of Coolamon. Making our way to Wagga for the weekend and collecting AdLabs and caches along the way. Having completed and discovered more charming places in Coolamon we stopped briefly to work out the location of the Bonus. SL at 4.09pm Left: feathers pathtag #10,103 TFTBONUS The Drovers - a favourite point for this charming adventure & bonus.
Day two of setting off north with BettyBoo3747 and geodoggies.
The weather in Beechworth has been far too damp and cold for caching!
Today we started in Wagga and ended up in Narrandera.
Not far, but a good collection of caches.
Whoops! Forgot to write down the answers. I suspect we have gotten used to linear AdLabs having answers in the last way point.
Fortunately, we could remember all our answers (we thought!)
Nice locations for the AdLab, really enjoyed our walk around town.
Did our calculations and headed off out of town. Luckily a quick find (told you we remembered the answers!)
Thanks, Robmc.

#21153. Day 2 of our escape into NSW. Today we travelled from Wagga to Narrandera collecting quite a few caches along the way. Here for 2 nights at Lake Talbot Caravan Park and it is a very pleasant place to stay.
I had asked Rob if there was a Bonus Cache and he said no. Fortunately, I spied it on the radar so we sat and worked out some new coordinates and then off to GZ we went. A quickish find and so glad we didn't have a tree climb. I was a bit worried with the Terrain rating. Also pleased it wasn't a micro.
And yes Coolamon is a pretty town and we had hoped to stay here but with 2 geopups we weren't allowed in the Caravan Park. Will have to come back another time for more exploring.
Thanks The Drovers

Find #8147
I’ve been looking for that window of opportunity, a few days, to get across to WW to do some the various trails in the region. Finally a spare long weekend and plans began to form.
At the recent Mega in Rutherglen, I’d mentioned my intention to barb2e and she was keen to join me. Plans were almost abandoned as the Academy Games crowd had virtually booked all of accommodation out within a 50km radius. Thankfully camping is always an option. Well for me anyway
Then opportunity to meet some local cachers, and COs of some of the much anticipated trails, meant an extremely early start to get across to a community event though this was the perfect way to kick start the long weekend.
With some specific target caches, plus so many AdLabs, the Pub series, W.W.W. Trail, Friends series, Riverina crop series, Riverina Geocaching's Geotriad Tribute Series, and so much more. There was enough to keep us going for weeks but only had four days. Oh well, we gave it a good crack.
Apologies for the generic logs as this never does justice to the work that goes into placing and maintaining all of the caches that we have so enjoyed finding.
Completed this Lab at the start of the end when passing through so pleased to be able to pick up the bonus today after Barb2e had completed it too.
It’s been fun!
Thanks so much The Drovers for putting out and maintaining this cache. And of course for getting me out and about and enjoying this area too

Together with my son, I am on a camping trip from Sydney to Broken Hill and back. On our 3000 km journey over 11 days we have seen some wonderful little towns, beautiful landscapes and many interesting geocaches.

Strategically spent the weekend finding caches that were part of my initial Rutherglen Mega plan. Glad to knock out hundreds of kilometres; exploring small towns and finding caches along the way. Thanks to all Caches Owners for their hides.
An interesting Adventure Lab experience here. A quick find in the logical spot. TFTC

Last gif this trip after finishing the Adventure Lan in town. Was a bit uncertain about one number but GZ looked fine. Wrong way for the direction I was travelling but headed back and a quick find made.
Not quite 150 bird species seen over the last few days but some I haven’t seen for over 10 years so was very happy with the trip despite the warm weather.

We are in Wagga for the fireworks for the show this weekend and are enjoying once again The Drovers hospitality.
As Mr Crackers was working today setting up for tonight's show The Drovers kindly chauffeured Mrs Crackers around so she could do some caching.
We hadn't really stopped and looked around Coolamon before, this adventure lab turned out to be the perfect way to do it and doing it with the CO made for a very enjoyable day indeed. Once the adventure lab was finished we were rewarded with a set of co-ords for this bonus cache and once at gz the container was found after a short search and our name has been added to the log.
Many thanks The Drovers for a great tour, a favourite point from us.

While sitting at home watching tv we were notified of this bonus cache! After completing the AL a few days ago we already had all the info we needed, so we worked out the co-ords and off we went to get the FTF! Luckily the rain held off while we went looking and the coords took us straight to GZ where we soon had an empty log in hand. Signed log at 9:35pm. Thanks to The Drovers again for some fun new caches!
