Hmmm, things went pear-shaped here, will put this on my watch list and see if I was just being blind.
It's been a while since we ventured this way, maybe because there was no reason to.With our eye on another cache needed for a challenge we tagged a couple more because we could. To see a hole row of mailboxes when there's not a house in sight surprises a lot of people.Quite a bit of traffic and a fair few in lycra too but not enough to slow us down Tank you nzchasers123
A few weeks ago we attempted this cache only to be foiled at GZ by the road management team due to logging above the road. As this was a hub of activity, we turned around and went elsewhere. Today Andy wanted a bike ride, so rode from home to here, where I met him and collected him and the bike. Also grabbed the cache which was a nice easy find. tftc

Having seen a blue frown as the last log I was worried that we wouldn't find it but it couldn't have been easier. I let Nanzie get it through the cobwebs. Thanks nzchasers123 and KJJ162

Paddle chick and I popped out tonight to grab a few caches nice easy find thanks nzchasers123 and KJJ162
I didn’t have a precise location since there is no service here so I guess that’s why I didn’t find it. Thank you anyway.
Nice quick park and grab as promised. I thought I had got in and out before the sandflies noticed but no! TFTC # 18,737
A much nicer day to be out and about than yesterday. Went for a drive and found a couple of caches. This was the first one I came to. Found in the first place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
Out for a drive and chin wash with bumandworker today. He signed the log but probably won’t log the find.
Bum found this one after a muggle dog walker at the other end of the bridge has disappeared. TFTC

This was one last cx along the road that I needed to get. The river looks like it is at its normal level today. TFTC.
[FTF]{FTF} with Ricardinho at about 11.00am.
This is just down the road from my house & over the years I've spent a fair bit of time around here, running on the forestry roads.
A quick easy find & RNZ was a bit tickled with the F2F tokens. A wee happy camper he was!

We weren’t initially too fussed on the FTFs on offer from the new postings this morning, but eventually got our stuff together and were looking at leaving the house, and these were the closest to home base in Brightwater. Be a shame not to swing by then.
So after a week of isolating bookended by bad weather for a couple of weekends, it was good to be out and about.
I had thought about putting a cache here also, reason being you have ‘Mead’ on one side, and across the bridge it’s ‘Meade’. I think there were proximity issues, so something has been archived since my last visit.
Easy find here, no issues or hint needed. Thanks for the FTF token also. TFTC nzchasers.

We are intrigued rather than troubled by the road signs here - is the road Mead or Meade? The water was rather troubled today with the river as fast and high as we have seen it although we know it can get higher. No problem with the cache so we filled in a bit of time by going to the end of the road first then back to recheck the changes to the reserve.
Thanks.
Thanks.
