Found a little buckle, which I think is where it was supposed to be, but I think someone stole it
On way home from working in Hamilton for the day. The main route north was closed due to roadworks and had to take this detour. Very quicknside drive to gz but no cache. Think i found where he should have been secured. I'm guessing he's hibernating as it was bitterly COLD. Will attempt again om warmer conditions for him to Come out and sun himself...
Yay found it. After much scrabbling around in the bush I finally found the scary monster . I feel it may have become dislodged from its intended position as it was on the floor partially covered. Its now slightly higher and hopefully happy. A delightful hunt with some stealth required as I was on my way home from work as were a few muggles. TFTC
Happy to find this one early this morning on the way to the airport. We are going on holiday overseas and to fulfil the criteria for the International geocaching challenge at Raglan I need to pick up a cache today and then another one on the same day overseas. This is the New Zealand cache that Ive chosen to pick up Not the easiest cache to go after in the dark but where theres a will theres a way - I now have to sit with wet shoes on Great spot and an ingenious cache - a favourite from me, TFTC
It gave me a fright I grabbed the cache and then jumped in my boots I had to use the flaxs as a rope because I could not get up any way eles
I was driving back through to Gordonton this afternoon and made the short detour off the main road to come and find this cache, all good here, cheers
After finding a few caches along a walkway further up the road, we stopped for this one on our way home. It was a reasonably quick find. A nifty hide, although the bison container had been pushed in so far it was quite difficult to extract! #6421. TFTC.
Yay happy birthday to me . Great to pick up a well Camo cache hidden in one of them. I'm enjoying my streak during the holidays. Fav from me. Tftc
We were out for a bit of a cache grab mission today, so decided to stop in and check this one (since there have been a couple of DNFs recorded).
The cache is still very much in place, and good condition.
Sorry team, you just didn't look hard enough.

spent way longer than needed, but after a few up and down trips it was located
It was pretty easy to find except had to climb up into the bush great fun thanks
Enjoyed the story and find here. We were minus our small magicians today, but I suspect they are a similar age to the younger freezer mice. TFTC!
No need for extra ToT. Rain was just starting, so was pleased with quick find and sign. Tftc
This had been well and truly swallowed so we needed a bit of patience and a tool to sign the log. Nice hide
I could`nt retrieve the container from inside so I took a picture as a proof.
Nice one!
Hamilton - Morrinsville road trip on wet Sunday.
I`m logging this cache as my 9920 find.

A fun story, we were pleased to have the time to visit with Tony in an area we had not visited for quite sometime. Thankfully the cache was located quickly, by torchlight. Nice a see the CO, and juniors, are still caching (a bit of a blast from the past) - hope you are all doing well! TFTC

This cache is not far from our Waikato home away from home, and hopefully our future home. We took a short drive this afternoon during a break in the rain and made our way to Red River. One of us carefully made the final approach and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks.
A nice quick find here today for this really cool cache. Worth a favourite point from me. Tftc
Found ourselves on Gordonton Road today after doing some Adventure Labs!
I remembered there was a newish trad further down the road which sounded interesting .
Mrs Jag kindly agreed and we drove here and she quickly had it in hand.
No injuries from the host!
But the bison had travelled quite far down!
Managed to rectify with the help of a tool and some manual dexterity.
Thanks junior Freezer Mice!

After completing the adventure lab caches in Taupiri, we had time to find some caches before heading home. Supernannny mentioned this newish cache, and after a quick read of the cache we decided it sounded worthy of a detour.
It wasn't long before the Red River Crocodile was spotted, but then the fun began. The bison had been swallowed by the crocodile and was deeply wedged inside the crocodile. With a TOTT we managed to gently extract the cache without harming the crocodile. TFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… A mid morning start after a late night caching expedition. We have a few caches lined up for today. They are dotted around the countryside, so we’ll be zig zagging our way through the Waikato…
After a consult of the geomap, we decided to visit this hide after finishing the number 3 Taupiri AdLab… There was a small section of wet ground to navigate before we arrived in the killer croc’s domain. The creature sure picked a great spot to survey the landscape, and it made us nervous to approach… Legend has it, this menace has the geocache in its stomach. Only the most foolhardy and intrepid can claim the cache.
How are we going to get the cache out of this beast? It took us a while to come up with an answer. We remembered an old timer’s conversation from the distant past. ‘If you flip an alligator upside down, it goes into shock and becomes unresponsive.’ Could this work on a croc? Gap and I were willing to try. But who of us would be bravest? We went in together…
The croc sensed us and hissed angrily. We came at it from left and right and the big animal swung its tail like a hammer. Strike after strike, a jab here and a stab there; succeeded in nought. After a long, sustained stand off, the great animal tired. This was our moment…
A sudden move on the left flank and the behemoth was flipped and immobilised. Gap acted quickly and pushed down on the crocs stomach cavity. Fortunately, it was rather empty, else we’d have to fish around for the cache in the animal’s digestive fluids… The cache sprung forward, but was still within the great jaws of this monster. Gingerly, Gap reached in and prized the cache free… The rest of this story is a blur.
I vaguely remember restoring the cache to its position within the jaws of the croc. Gap gently righted the tired beast, and we backed away slowly. The killer croc feebly came to and retreated to a spot in the sun… We returned to our vehicle, elated but shattered from the experience. Let this be a warning to all would-be visitors. This cache is not to be taken lightly… Much thanks to The Freezer Mice for their direction… TFTC.

Had to wait for the mower man to move along before heading in to the bush. Easy find, TFTC
This was a big mission to access the log sheet. I was cursing and swearing a bit. A tool would be useful.
Pick this one up one the way home
Still have all my fingers

I know why its called red river because of the blood. Counting fingers and all ok tftc
Today I needed to go to Gordonton so continued a little further to collect this one. Managed to get the log out without losing any fingers. [thankfully]. Second to find. Thank you for the placement.
I was at school getting things ready for tomorrow when I noticed a new cache had been published . I decided I'd done enough work, quickly locked up and headed off. Great wee cache. Fav point from me. I hope Freezer Mice's daughter is impressed with my efforts!
