What a beautiful building. Been to Kyneton many times and have never been past the theatre. TFTC
On my way to a 3 day 4wdriving navigation event in Guildford so I decided to grab some along the way!
Being here in kyetin again after some years, I had a nice stroll with my friends and found this cache Tftc
Stopped by to find this cache but the flags were out and we could hear music, so didnt go in to find the cache. Well be back another time. TFTC
Beautiful old building. Found on a walk over footy finals weekend. Love this town!
*Found on the 21 Sep 2024 @ 1:11pm.**Cache find # 15823.* After attending an event at Sanatorium Lake, I then headed further North to see what else I could find.I detoured into town to find the caches around here.I made my way down the side of this bluestone building, got down low and found the lid of the cache, had a bit more of a look and found the rest of it.**Thanks to Ghihash for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**

Today we decided to go for a drive to Kyneton. A beautiful sunny day to explore the area. A quick find here at this lovely old church. Looks like we aren't the only ones out caching today. It was the first spot I looked at, but didn't look deep enough. After inspecting the length of the wall and finding a few rocks that could have hidden a box. I decided to give that spot another go and there it was. TFTC

My great great grandfather was a Congregational minister who at various times was stationed in five different states. He led an adventurous life including such escapades as paddling his canoe down the Murray River from Albury to the mouth at Goolwa. He wasn't ever stationed in this area, but gave lecture tours about his exploits, which included Kyneton on at least one occasion and he was therefore most likely in this very building. Quick easy find, left a 1919 halfpenny. TFTC

Currently staying at the timeshare resort in Kyneton. After a few days of Family engagements, we had another free day today. After a trip to the Mount Macedon Memorial Cross and Hanging Rock we stopped in town on our way back to the resort to find the last two caches. When we arrived at the Theatre we noticed a couple of Muggle school boys in the vicinity of GZ. After waiting a bit for them to move on, we headed to GZ and soon had the cache in hand, a quick easy find. Thanks for placing this cache to show us more of the area. TNLNSL.
Found this one pretty quick! Came here just before dark. Another great cache foundSuper lovely locals, definitely recommend the Pizza and wine pizza place! As a Queenslander coming down to Victoria it was very cold but absolutely stunning at this time of year with all the leaves falling down!

Having finished our appointments back at home we set off this morning to return to Bendigo where we had left our van. 14:49During last year's Referendum, I was chatting with one of the senior electoral staff about my Grand Final trip to Lakes Entrance, and he expressed interest in exploring the state by train. Well, it's taken sixth months to organise, but we're on a trip to Bendigo and back.On the way back we got off at Kyneton and took a walk through the Botanic Gardens to Piper Street.Of course I stopped to look for this cache, tucked in exactly where I expected.Thanks, Ghihash.#8805

So, as it happens. I forgot my wallet in Bendigo at the in-laws yesterday. A phone call from MIL sent a wave of panic (as I hadn't noticed yet), then relief, then stressed as I had today only to go get it. Arrangements were made to meet halfway. In Kyneton. So we did our chores for the day and off we headed. With some time to spare, we looked up some caches to grab. This was the first on our list, and my gosh!!This building is so beautiful! We had to do a walk around admiring the architecture and regretting that it was closed, wishing we could get inside. Thank you for bringing us here!

Came by today to replace container and check cache. Evidence of major interference. Could the next person to find the cache please let me know the condition. Thanks slowdog for the pictures. I will be back soon to top up swaps and potentially move the cache to another location if it keeps being tampered with.
Well I turned up today and found the container and the contents on the path to the side of the hall. I replaced it where I thought it might have come from but the container is destroyed. Some people have noting better to do.
Hi there. The cache was located on the path and the container is completely destroyed. I put it back where I thought it belonged but will need major repairs.
After kimmy533 and drobbonz did an unscheduled stop in Kyneton it was obligatory for us and kiwisteve2 to grab a cache and the lga.With a little help from the school boy it was quickly found. All good and dry. Just damaged.Tftc
Cache has been checked, container is there although damaged. Contents of Cache is in ziplock bag inside damaged container. Will replace container in comming weeks.
Visiting friends in Malmsbury. Also trying to fill in the gaps in my finds calendar. A very wet day, so a quick drive to Kyneton to get this cache was the go. Lovely old building. Quick find with my muggle friend. TFTC
I headed up the Calder to Kyneton to catch up with my son and his family to celebrate his birthday at one of the pubs in town.I left a tad early so I could pick up at least one cache in town.Kyneton has a lot of lovely old buildings and this bluestone one is no exception.No flags on display so off I went.Of course I picked the wrong side at first but I made my way around the building on my little tour to the correct side.Checked in a couple of places and then I soon had the cache in hand and added my name to the log.Thanks Ghihash TFTC.
Beneath The Bluestone there lies a treasure waiting to be found.A very interesting part of town.All is well at ground zero. Thank you.
There really are some lovely stone buildings in Kyneton. I tried a couple of spots near GZ before checking it and dismissing a close object as "looking real". I was just contemplating whether it was real when I spotted the hide. Just as well... could have been a little shocking TN, left a pathtag. TFTC

Tftc; found on a weekend roadtrip to Murray Bridge and back with lilbassgirl. Logging all caches day after end of trip; individual logs done by lilbassgirl previously with me driving between caches, sights, accomodation and the show we went to.
