I was glad that this turned out to be a quick find. T4tC ABCDF4,Civvnr&MissTreadlightly....(UK) -/-Geocaching.com finds so far 12272
Travelled from Otorohanga to north of Auckland today. This was the only cache we had time to stop for along the way. Fortunately it was a reasonably quick find. #8027. TFTC.
We ended up near here while completing the 1863 Waikato War multi which started in Pokeno. We thought it would be a great way to celebrate Matariki weekend and have a road trip with our three boys. We parked strategically and soon had the cache in hand. Took longer to roll the lob back up than it did to make the find! TFTC.
Back in Pirongia, visiting this place ones or twice a year. M14 is playing football at Ngahinapouri school so though lets try to change this one into a smile. A quick find luckily. The lid was missing, found it between the gravel on the ground. All good. Now back to the match! Thanks for hiding.
#901Stopped by on the way back from our trip to King's Country over King's Birthday weekend. Felt good to stretch the legs for a bit! Thanks for the hide.
Very easy find! Did this on ANZAC weekend so nice to see the wreaths out the front of the hall
Making our way from Hamilton to New Plymouth today - grabbed a few caches on the way. Made hard work of this one, and while searching a chap mowing the verge grass over the road shouted out ' I know what you're looking for !! 'Eventually found the cache TFTCTim and Viv - ddm
The others are off to climb to GCG8AR -too steep for me and I would cope in this humidity so I am caching in the towns. I like the mature trees further along the street.Day 2 of The Wellington Anniversary Weekend tour with Mr-Mcgoo, Itchyfeet2020, TwigNZ. We are targeting specific caches -oldies, puzzles we have solved and ones with a D/T of 2.5+/2.5+ for the [GC30AD8](http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC30AD8) DGSC Challenge (West Coast) challenge. Of course, there will be days of laughter, no doubt at my expense .Kia ora rawa atu for the cache ABCDF4.
A quick park on the road, leave GeohoundandI in the car, grab the cache, run back to the car for the pen, sign the log, replace then get back in the car and head home for a cup of tea.
Wow that is the tiniest one we have found yet! Just passing through on a road trip from Nelson to Auckland for Christmas. Needed to entertain the kids for an hour
After a night at Kaniwhaniwha I stopped at Pirongia to pick off the caches there. This one eluded me. Thanks ABCDF4#4772Logged using Cachly.
We were heading to Otorohanga and had been meaning to find this cache for a while now so took the opportunity to stop off and do so.
After parking near the bakery and buying some "essential supplies" we headed over to the hall and took some time to admire the gun and read the plaque before searching for this cache which we were pleased to find in the second place we checked.
Thanks for the placement and for providing us with a good excuse to visit the bakery.

Stopped by for a quick find on my way to Auckland for a ten pin bowling tournament. Thanks ABCDF4 for the cache.
Heading home after a weekend getaway visiting New Plymouth. Another quick park n grab to break up the journey. TFTC
Caching in the dark, a stop on the way home, great hide, a bit of a challenge, but found it, tftc
Trouvée rapidement. On aurait vraiment aimé avoir le temps de visiter la ville. Une prochaine fois !

Park and grab on our way back to Auckland after spending the Easter weekends in Waitomo. I wonder why they buried the gun in the first place? TFTC
Greetings from BC, Canada.
We are a family of 5 on vacation in New Zealand. Cachers in the family include BeesKnees34, SOB_4M, AlexBN16 and me. We have been enjoying the beautiful landscape and visiting some awesome locations.
Stopping along the way to grab some cool caches. We targeted high favourite, old caches, different cache types and some other caches along our routes.
Nice quick find on my walk around town.
Thanks ABCDF4 for the fun cache!

Cache 1/3 for the day
Wife had a stall at the local markets, so had to keep the kid entertained for a few hours so took him out caching.
Was more interested in inspecting the canon then finding the cache, but once I found it, took a strong interest in the magnet part of it.
No space to sign but took a photo for proof.
Quick replace and on to the next one

The logbook paper is finished, but I don’t have anything small enough to go in and didn’t want to remove the old logbook. Please can the owner put a new one in
TFTC, another lovely find on my road trip through NZ

A quick trip to Pirongia from the BOP to pick up a Puppy, while here we knocked off this cache and also the Ad Lab that was new to the town.
Didn't take too long to find, all good, thanks!

Nice and quiet here today which is good, as it took as a while to locate this one, until Kimbathelion eventually had cache in hand. Tftc
Round & round up & down then eventually I spotted it. Thankfully thought I had lost my MOJO. Quiet here today. Tftc
I have parked up in Otorohonga with my snail shell and decided to go back to Pirongia in my cachemobile to complete the AdLab and to pick up any other caches that got in the way.
This is one that got in the way.
Cheers for the cache.

S quick trip to pirongia between shifts at work today. Found this one relatively quickly and tried out the cafe up the road after checking out another local cache as well. Thankyou for the hide.
Tramyard proposed a road trip around the Waikato to visit the new virtuals and ad labs in the area since our last visit, as well as attending the local 18@18 event. Two others were asked but they were instead attending a CITO in Whangarei, so it was just going to be tramyard and myself.
In total, our road trip was over 500km as we traveled via Mercer, Huntly, Taupiri, Pirongia, Waitomo Caves, and Piopio before turning back towards Cambridge and onto Hamilton for the event before finally heading home to Auckland.
A nice walk down to the memorial hall before heading back to the bakery for some well-earned lunch. Very busy around Pirongia today.

On way home after doing a new ad lab down south. Easy to find here. I was always saying this place deserves a cache. Tftc
Nice to see another 'new' placement here which is our usual route North from Rangitikei. Keep 'em coming ABCDF4.
Head home day and we have a brunch date with daughter Liv after heading down from Northland early this morning. A couple of stop offs planned to improve my finds on this last '5 day'. Just pesky old 29 Feb to deal to next Leap opportunity.
A long weekend in Northland and a nice catch up with our son and his family. We had 4 days and 3 nights staying at Ngunguru in the works bach and although caching wasn't high on the list we still had a couple of trips out and found a few, thanks to all COs. It's been a couple of months since we last saw little Hayes, our 16tth grandchild, so was good to see how much he'd grown.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… A mid morning start after a late night caching expedition. We have a few caches lined up for today. They are dotted around the countryside, so we’ll be zig zagging our way through the Waikato…
Surprise, surprise! We followed some back roads to Pirongia… We found time to begin the newish AdLab and have some lunch. This cache fell naturally into the journey… Despite a few trips to this town over the years, this would be the first time we’ve visited this hall. A quick find here - Thanks ABCDF4 and TFTC.

Thanks for placing this cache. Interesting history. Our first cache of the day on the way to Ruapehu.
Took a lot longer than it should have done. Good job it wasn't a big one. Was about to give up when I luckily found it. TY
This one was published while were down here for the day.
A quick detour back to town for the last one of the day before heading back to Auckland.

While we were on Mount Pirongia getting the letter box series...I received notification of a new cache in Pirongia!
This was pretty exciting!
We still had 2 or 3 caches to get , so we completed them and then came on down here...
Luckily the host item was not nearly as huge as some I have seen....so this was a quick find by one of our team of Westie Ladies.
Many thanks ABCDF4.....This was a real bonus....and we are so glad we were still there when it was published!
And many thanks to our mate who alerted us to it!

Out for a caching adventure with Merlot, Supernanny and Nette to Pirongia. We had commented about the Hall and the markets that used to be held at the hall as we walked around the area visiting the various adventure lab waypoints. This cache was published while we were on the mountain, so we detoured to collect it on our way home. A quick park and grab here and our last cache of the day. TFTC
We just happened to be in the area doing the nearby letterbox series when this was published so we headed back into town to get the smiley here before heading home to Auckland. Thankfully this was one of the easier 'gun' caches I've found
