Great Event - Lots of stories, lots of rubbish - probably our biggest haul

Thank you everyone

Pretty much planning our whole caching holiday around this one simple "emu bob", my partner catnap777 and I were so stoked to get here and meet up with a whole bunch of great geocachers and legends of the game at the event while making Tassie even prettier.
TFTE Budgietas, and thanks for the opportunity to put faces to the signatures that cat' and I have been seeing from all over the state while on our geocaching holiday. [^]

Arrived early so I beat SSR.
Found lots of rubbish down on the waterline whilst chatting with Alby and Goose.

The area looked quite clean but it was surprising the amount of rubbish that was collected.

After grabbing coffee we rocked up a couple of minutes after the starting time. The park looked fine and the action was all on the waters edge. I joined Alby and Swampy we collected and chatted about all number of topics and before long we had a bag full of rubbish.
Another CITO knocked over and probably the most successful collection yet.

It was so good to meet our Tasmanian counterparts and what a pleasant park to help the community and share some quality time with you all.
This was my first event in Tasmania, and even though I have holidayed here, this was my first caching trip .
I do apologise for the late log, but as you can imagine dalerious and I were kept super busy caching this beautiful state .
I can tell you all that it was a very sombre day when we had to board the ferry back home.
We are so looking forward to our next visit; I personally hope it is sooner rather than later ??.

Another early morning CITO and this time it was a good turn out and it wasn't raining (these facts may well be related)

After we had cleaned the park and the foreshore, we all had bags of rubbish, so we stopped and had a chat for bit before all headed our different ways.

Another part of tassy a little bit cleaner.

A much cleaner area after we left especially the waterfront. NIce to meet the cachers from Victoria and the other usual suspects plus one who had travelled from Launceston. Well done budgie on drawing a crowd. The rain even stayed away today. TFTE

Thanking SSR for the reminder yesterday, I attended today. Bit of a chat with people I haven't seen for a while. , A lot of plastic rubbish washed up on the shore.

Managed to get out of bed and get here on time. The park itself is good but took the geocachers to make the shoreline as clean and tidy. A lot of rubbish gets washed up. Good to catch up with the crew and visitors.

Arrived t the park selected for this cito and It was immaculate at first glance. Then we ventured to the foreshore and there was a heap of plastic to collect.

A very successful cito with many people coming back with full bags of rubbish
