We are aware this geocache needs attention but we have been called away urgently to mind 4 grandchildren in NSW and we have it on our list to attend to when we return. Our apologies for any inconvenience.
We are disabling this cache for the next three weeks or so. We will be away. We are very sorry we were not able to attend to it during the last couple of weeks since we got home as it turned out I had Covid. We are away again from tomorrow but will attend to it as soon as we return. Our apologies for any inconvenience.
I am down under for the very first time. ???? Visiting Australia has always been a dream of mine, and I cannot believe it has come true. Australia's nature and wildlife really captivated me. Over three weeks, I saw many wonderful beaches, sunsets, animals such as ????????, and I found great geocaches. My tour guide was mostly geocaching, and through it, I discovered many beautiful places I wouldnt have seen without our great hobby. I mainly stayed in Brisbane but also visited other gorgeous places such as Noosa Heads and Springbrook. I spent a few days on the Gold Coast and Moreton Island, and I went to New South Wales to have visited a second state in Australia. During my stay, the winter and early spring in Queensland were very warm, the sun shone every single day, and I did not see a single drop of rain. My time down under was so beautiful and unforgettable. Australia is such a stunning country!????? Today I spent a day in the Gold Coast. I really like this area and I discovered beautiful places. On this hot day I walked and cycled a lot. I also looked for many geocaches like this one. At GZ I found the cache easily. After signing the log I put the container back as found. Thank you for this geocache says Mr. J. Cacher from the other side of the world ????
Found in dark. Aussie Liahona, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.
Staying on the Gold Coast Hinterland and doing some work down this way this week.Gives me an opportunity to go get a cache or two when the work ends.A bit of rain about today, keeping muggles away - excellent!Nice hide, cache is in great condition. Now has my squiggle in it too.
I found it.TFTC!First cache in Australia. I came from Japan to study on the Gold Coast for three weeks. After three days of farm stay, today started homestay life. My host mother brought me here and together with two of my friends we searched for the cache. Thanks for the cache and nice place!
Found Found with clanbeckett, abeck58 and Catboy67. We are all down the the coast for a weekend away. The weather has been perfect, we were out on the water yesterday and it was lovely. Beautiful winter's days at the Gold Coast .After checking out of our accommodation we thought we'd go for a walk along the Seawall before heading home. The new infrastructure here is fantastic (and certainly brings in the crowds). So different from when we used to do this walk 30 years ago (before the kids). Thanks Aussie Liahona for placing these caches. I like the attachment method.
Here on holidays with the family from cold and wet Victoria so we decided to go for a walk on a beautiful sunny Gold Coast day. Our second find for the day, another quick grab and we were on our way again. TFTC!
Found whilst out caching with The X-Trailers.Cache all okLoved the walk around the areaA quick findTFTC
Spot on co-ords and a great hint led to an easy find. I had better luck with the attachment than the last nearby cache. Thanks for the cache in a great location.
Visiting South East Queensland for a week from Port Macquarie. Our last full day on the Gold Coast, today we tackled caches right down the coastal area, from The Spit in the North down to Coolangatta/Tweed Heads in the South. The weather today was prime for caching, with clear skies and lovely temperatures in the low twenties. Some fishermen were very close to GZ so resorted straight to hint to reduce the time we needed to hang around, worked wonders as we honed in straight to it.Thanks for the cache
We are in the area for just a few nights visiting family. We have our new bikes with us and we are going to enjoy testing them out.Beautiful weather today for a ride along the coastThanks for bringing us here and adding to our fun today.TFTC
A quick find and sign with the hint. Not too many muggles around which made it easier. Tftc!!!
We're heading down to Kirra Beach for the weekend and after some lunch from Peters Fish Market, we went for a wander along The Spit. This was another nice quick find by Holly (well she does go running off looking for the cache before the oldies can get there).Thanks!!#3663
A little power trail cycling today up the coast. Found this clever hide on a nice yet windy day.
Little wander on the spit, spot on coordinates, quick find in a lull in muggle traffic. Great cacheSL TFTC
Found Relatively quickly but dont have a pen so here is a photo for proof TFTC
I've been in Surfers for a week and have had muggle friends staying with me, but now that they've flown home, I've got time to get out and do some caching around the place ... it's been 6 years since I spent time up this end of the Coast, so there's plenty for me to choose from.Doing the Seawall EC was a priority for me and I was able to make a straightforward find here while checking out what the engineers did to combat the effects of longshore drift and make the mouth of the Nerang River stay where it is. It took a bit longer than it should have to locate this one, though, as I went to the wrong side of the pathway first! Thanks for a nice hide Aussie Liahona.
On my business trip in Brisbane. Saturday was my last day before continuing to Emirates. I decided to visit Gold Coast for swimming, sunbathing and of course Geocaching. Parked car at Seaway peninsula and enjoyed walking around caches. Nice place. Cache is in perfect condition. TFTC.Greetings from Czechia .
Found on return walk. Like the other we were very grateful for the detailed hint. TFTC Aussie Liahona.
We sat here for a good 10 minutes watching all of the activity before we realised there was a cache nearby TFTC
Geocaching in sydney, brisbane and anywhere in between, together with the 2 F's. TFTC
The weather was not looking too good today to venture out as it was raining. The rain has cleared and has turned out to be a very nice day and so we decided to go and look for some geocaches in this area and a Mystery that I've solved previously. On a caching holiday from Mackay. In the search of old caches and ones to fill DT grid spaces. Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment with mackay_geocaching. Have mostly had clear sunny days on our trip.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
On holidays from Mackay with alphag_25 dodging the weather as much as we can and grabbing some caches to tidy up the last in the area. TFTC
Out in the GC today with friends from the UK. Took the opportunity make a find along our walk. Tftc
Out on the spit with the geohound today, on our hols. Nice stiff breeze to blow away the cobwebs and work up our appetites! Cache had come free from it's hiding place, but I stuck back appropriately. Log is full and my pen didn't sign it very well! Pic attached and TFTC!
An enjoyable walk on a windy overcast day. Sat down to enjoy natures beauty and quickly found a nicely tucked away cache. Thanks for the placement and maintenance of this cache and for the smiley.
Nice little hide. Log is overly full and could do with replacement. Thanks for the cache and

Vielen lieben Dank und Gre von den deutschen Caradoos google-translate: The German jungle camp lied to us and we were able to secure a yellow smilie for this treasure. Thank you very much and greetings from the German Caradoos

Found it just manage to sign our names as hch fjt Jeff as the log sheet is full tftc
It was August 2021 when I first took a walk towards the end of the breakwater and I found the CO's [Luminescence](https://coord.info/GC2JY08) geocache. Not every area stays clear of found geocaches, and it was a chance to visit this area again today, however this time, I only needed to go halfway out!I arrived at GZ and I had it in my mind that it would be on one particular side where a muggle had positioned themselves and in the middle of a long phone call, so as luck would have it, the coordinates were pointing me to the other side. I followed the instructions, and quickly had the cache in hand with thanks to the detailed instructions provided in the hint. A nice use of this tether attachment, as I imagine this area gets a beating from the salt-water. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although this logbook appears to be reasonably full. Alas, I didn't bring any additional/spare logbook pages to assist with this one today. Thanks [Aussie Liahona](https://coord.info/PR34PKD) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------Merry Christmas! The family celebrated Christmas staying in Robina in the Gold Coast, which provided an opportunity to visit geocaches in the region. This morning, it was an early start with Main Beach parkrun jogging 5 km while the heat and humidity increased. With no Christmas storms in sight, I headed north for geocaches along the Spit, and then targeted a few geocaches as I returned home to see the rest of the family. The beaches were busy along the Spit as people took advantage of the unexpected heat, and relaxed on the sand.
Tftc. Just sitting and enjoying the view. And signing the log book of course. (My pencil did not want to co-operate with me so my name cannot be found from log book but I'll send a photo of the container and log to CO).
Found amongst the passing muggles. Log is full and I have attached a photo .TFTC
We came here today to see if we could walk down the spit without getting sandblasted. It was still quite windy but not as bad as on Sunday. We got right to the end this time and found this cache on the way with no problems. M found it easily.
Another find. Log is looking full. Had trouble writing date on the log paper.
*I am attempting to do some serious backlogging. A year of geocaches that I haven't logged but have kept a record of.Each week I come down here for marine mammal researching and each week I'm way too early. I decided to FINALLY look for these geocaches. I'm so grateful they are still here as they've been on my list for years. A quick find here, being as sneaky as possible. I definitely am grateful for the photos added from previous logs so I knew which side to be looking on. Thankfully not too many down here at 5:30am on a Wednesday hahaha. Thank you for placing and maintaining this geocache for everyone to enjoy!
Out with Surefoot24 and her evil muggle chasing LGAs and AUSmer Challenge caches. We'd visited the target cache Comet Spit and decided to do the others here. Another quick easy find although we were sandblasted getting halfway.TFTC
Well, the name says it all. Echo Cage1 led us out to the Spit to get this and Luminescence. The wind was quite strong, sandblasting our faces further back. Team work found the cache and kept a lookout for muggles who were passing us from both directions. Dolphin watching became a good diversion.
