Messaged Rapidlywild to see when her next RDO was and suggested taking today to attend the CITO and collect some caches around the Goulburn area. She was keen so one of the FFLL team took a TOIL day as well.
Lovely day for it although a little chilly and all caches were found and we were also given prior permission to replace if any were missing. Loved the number of tree fishing caches here they are a bonus. We were joined by fitzy_1965 for the remainder of our tour around Goulburn which was helpful.
Thanks for the hide my_name_jeff_1 and thanks for a fun day out Rapidlywild and company fitzy_1965.

Received a message from FFLL#1 about 2 weeks ago asking when my next RDO was at work, oh there is a daytime event on in Goulburn today? cool, so RDO was booked. We made our way up the highway and grabbed a couple caches prior to the event. We decided to start at the northern end of Goulburn and grab whatever we could throughout the day. We were joined by DSD before the event as we made our way across the mountain collecting caches we hadn't signed and post the event, we were joined by Fitzy. It was a great day out and about, the weather was wonderful and we had a lovely time, sure beats sitting in the office.
Now we had done the CITO, it was time to continue our adventures and we had Fitzy join us for the ride. Onto the next closest and this was the target. Cache was indeed missing however maintenance was completed by the CO's dad, signed and replaced for next finders.
Thanks for the cache placement and maintenance my_name_jeff_1 and thanks for a super fun day out and about FFLL

A trip to check out some of the awesome places in NSW and grab some old caches. TFTC.
Nice quick find.
Nice quick find.
As it is the first day of my school holidays today, I decided what better way to celebrate then an afternoon geocaching with the kids. The geokids were quick to get on board on the proviso that we did NOT do any crazy bushwalks. We decided to head to Goulburn so we could also participate in our first CITO event.
Went for a drive to collect some caches whilst waiting for the event to start. Arrived at this location and the kids immediately started searching the guard rail. When we arrived at GZ I said this is my find as I reached up and retrieved it. The little geokids were outraged that it was out of reach to them but I explained that big people need to be the first to find at locations to. They excepted this and were happy it was found.
Log signed and returned.

Managed to spare a bit of time whilst staying on a nearby property to knock a few newer Goulburn caches off. TFTC!
Found on a 50-cache day-trip to Goulburn for GGGT events #57 and #58. Parked nearby and then made a quick find. Awesome place to highlight. TFTC!
Arrived into Goulbourne staying for 3 nights at the caravan park near the merino
Day3
So many new caches since we were here last, so headed out today, caching via Currawong Road, Challenge caches & Perodic table caches we targeted. We had two detours from a flooded creek, so didn't do as many as expected.
Thanks for placing your cache.

**This Cache:**
Quick find here, located in the spot expected! Been past here and stopped before!
Thanks
**Today:**
Headed out to rural NSW from ACT for a big day of event attending!
First up an event in Gunning, then a Community Celebration in Crookwell and finally another event + CITO in Goulburn! Made sure to also visit a couple other small towns between whilst caching!
Ended up with 35 finds today and hit cache find #15,000 unexpectedly! The milestones sneak up quickly when you don't keep an eye them! A huge month of caching coming up in November as well with the Vic Mega in particular!
Special thanks to GLISS! in particular for the mammoth organisation, as well as Nibletricecakes who also did a huge job in hosting one of the events and cooking up the perfect snags for the brekkie event as well!
Thanks to all the attendees too for supporting the community & all the great catch-ups that were had! Oh and shout-out to Crookwell RSL for managing to cater such a big crowd of both geocachers and christining folk who happily shared the big venue!

Having returned to Canberra after a long journey it was time to start visiting some of the newer caches that have been published while I have been away. I found out the periodic events in Goulburn are on today, so I headed out around lunch to visit Breadalbane for a Where-i-go, Labs at the cemetery and new caches up Greys hill before having a pre event catch-up with Fitzy.
After my trip up the hill, I wanted to do a few more so stopped by the old brewery. There was work going on in the yard, but I was able to get over the road and extract this one without any problems.
Thanks for the cache my_name_jeff_1

After some new caches had me lured all the way to Goulburn, I used the remaining daylight to gind a bunch of caches at the south nd of town. Feelt good to put a good chunk of these into smiles and see a few new spots. Lots more to do around town so will need to come back a few more time but made a start. This cache was one of the ones I had the oportunity to do. A nice cache here!

With a day off from work and a CITO in Goulburn, I made the trip over to for my second ever time caching there. I made the promise that I would return for a proper day of caching and it finally came true. Today’s focus was mainly some solved Multi’s and a few other quick finds to maximise my cache find total for the day given I was limited with time as I needed to be back in Temora by 5:30pm at the latest. After the CITO, Fitzy_1965 and I headed up the hill to collect the ‘Mount Gray series’ caches as he believes that they have run their course. Unfortunately, I will need to return for the rest of the caches that I missed along that are along the same road again due to time constrains. I ended up with two DNF’s today. However, I loved my day out. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found for allowing them to bring me and the caching community enjoyment. TFTE and TFTC’s!
After collecting the 'Mount Gray series', we went to check on this cache and GC9YAZM as I still had a little bit of time up my sleeve before heading home. Great spot for a cache. Thanks
