Logs
Passing through the area on a fine winters morning collecting a couple of smileys on the way. Cache was a little lower than expected. Likely its been moved from its original host. Cache and log were found in good condition. Log signed and cache returned to where found. Thanks @_ElwinRansom_ for placing Vertical Pursuit for the GC community to find !!
Great HideThanks _St4rlore_ for the cacheJames0116Sunday, 2 Jun 20248:57:54AM AWST4649
We were not sure if we would be in for a tree climb or perhaps be using some other of our TOTTs to collect this one. After searching high and finding nothing, we looked at a little lower and there it was. An unexpected bonus. Thanks _St4rlore_. Log signed Domsky
Fifth and final find on an after school cache hunt with my 6 year old grandson. During the afternoon he settled on a caching name - SA8.
TFTC. The cache is accessible at the moment. It is signed and placed as it was found.
On my way here right now, and after looking at the previous logs, I just **know that dadll be lifting my short person there so I can begin the climb! Looking forward to it!
*sigh* I got the cache, but then fell all the way down. TFTC anyways. Got a pic of the cache and have to now somehow put it back up where it was. TFTC, _akluger. TW; second photo is scratches. No blood, just a grazed arm.
I was very reluctant to bring out the TOTT here as it was so public. I spotted a gap in the traffic and launched up the tree. Luckily I am a long boy so it wasn't too hard. TFTC
Despite the cammo colour, I managed to spot this one from the ground. A quick scramble up, log signed and replaced as found. TFTC
Find 18 of 18 with four DNFs on a mission to clear up the Dalkeith/Nedlands map - by bike, naturally. After getting soaked this morning, the afternoon weather was much more pleasant.Came back to this one with the fishing pole as the bikes weren't enough to boost us up the tree. A quick hook and replace.TFTC ____akluger!
Easy to find in autumn/winter when there aren’t leaves, managed to find without TOTT but was quite hard. forgot pen so we will come back soon
Luckily i had the correct TOTT with me for this... but so much traffic.. it was very hard to be stealthy so I was just as quick as I could be. TFTC
Meme28, Monkeywand, I CNothing, Cirrus_wa and Sir Fancy out for another Wednesday night caching. Found easily and in good condition.
Friends with ladders are good!
Out joining Cirrus_WA and ICNothing for a night of caching.

Was glad to hear that ICN had packed her ladder this evening and made sure we came past here.
Spent about 5 minutes searching from the ground before Monkeywand spotted the container, then the ladder was set up and ICN ascended to claim the find.

Tuesday night caching this week was with I C Nothing and Monkeywand heading up towards Cottesloe, Claremont & Nedlands grabbing some caches that have been on the to do list for quite a while.
A rather successful night saw me collecting 19 finds and 0 DNF’s

I added my name to the log at 22:01 on 4/7/2023.
This is find number 7419 for me.

Found by eye but not sure if this has been relocated as you def need a ladder for this one unless your a tree lopper or someone that works at height. I'm too old for this one.
That was hard to find, even harder to get! How on earth am I going to put it back... I love tree climbing, but I'm getting a bit old for this
Climbing was much easier than finding it haha, bit easy to spot once I was up there.

It’s been a long time since I climbed a tree! Enjoyed the challenge and thankfully all went well. TFTC!
Thanks for the cache ___akluger. Thankfully we had just the TOTT for the job.
Last time we were down this way we did not have the required TOTT with us. This was rectified today & as I spotted the container and deployed said tool PP1 took care of the retrieval. TFTC ____akluger
As I stared up at the wonderful trees, a golden ray of sunlight revealed my prize, the only find for today, metres up the tree... Definitely a fave point for this one (if I have any lol) my tree climbing skills finally payed off. TFTC number 62 for me, it was annoying replacing tho, now I know how you feel trying to do it
All true that "I am too old" Glad to have K.B. All sorted out and Thank you for the organising the cache and hunt..
Visited with Everlasting and col117. I was outvoted 2 to 1 with one “too old” and one “I’m a big boy, K.B!”. To preserve the limbs of the tree, I made the relatively easy climb. I hate tree climbs after falling badly from a tree in my youth, but this was a low risk climb relatively low from the ground. Given that I can easily support my weight with my arms for short periods of time, I was able to climb up to retrieve the cache and again to return it. Thanks for the adventure.
KB thought I was going to volunteer to make the climb. She’s about half my size so, to save the tree, up she sent. Glad to be able to provide moral support. Lol. Thanks for the cache.
Rain has stopped so the family decided to go out for some quick caches.
Gwawr spotted it before we got to GZ. Chwiliwr followered with TOTT. Log signed by all then returned as found.

The Better Half and I had the family up visiting when Gwawr decided that she wanted to go caching after the rain stopped. We drove up the freeway in some drizzle but saw that it was finer to the north.
After finding the other cache nearby we came here with the TOTT that I now carry in the read of the car.
Log was signed and the cache returned as it was found.

Out on an evening SoR caching run to Baldivis, Rockingham and surrounds.
As luck would have it, we actually went to Baldivis tonight with a ladder to nab a high terrain cache! When this popped up, we weren’t going to go for it, but because we had the TOTT in the back, we decided to have a crack. Shot straight up the Freeway from Kulija Rd. Leg5 did the retrieval at GZ, after an east spot from ground level. Joint *FTF* at 2115hrs. Cheers ____akluger!

Out doing caches in Baldivis and Rockingham area. Had a ladder in the car, so when a message came through we headed up to Dalkeith aborting our plans for Wellard.
Got out TOTT and climbed up to find it was blank.
Joint [FTF] with the Cockburn Crew.
Thanks for the hide.
