My husband and I are on a trip from Brisbane to Charleville to find some caches to qualify for some challenges , especially GC9YTB9 to get camping and fire nearby attributes for September and livestock nearby. This afternoon i focused on finding caches close to Charleville city to get back in time for our walk to the Hotel Caronis for pre dinner drinks. We ended up getting burgers to take away next door to Caronis and they were so yummy.I found this one in pieces with the log book a few meters away. All put back together and good to go. Thanks geohoppe for all the fun

Continuing on with my well earned 2 week break and after staying in Rochester, Hay, White Cliffs, Cunamulla, Toompine and now Im in Charleville for a few nights (after my very big detour due to lots of road closures) its time to stop the long drives and find a few caches that Charleville has to offer over a few days. After yesterday of being out and about finding close ones and some further out caches as well and also which ever ones grab my fancy.Today was going to be the same to see what I can find. The sun has come out again today and it I great to feel some warmth again on the body.A bit of driving and a bit walking around town taking in some sights after finding a very secret WWII base.My sisters were all in Girl Guides and me and my kids were all Boy Scouts. Thanks geohoppe & magnetic0 TFTC.

Found with e.gregory1 on a trip through Broken Hill, Tilpa, Bourke, Cunnamulla, Charleville, Tambo, Blackall and Barcaldine to attend the QOGM at Longreach. After QOGM I travelled solo to Emerald, Biloela, Monto, Gayndah and Kilcoy on my way to Brisbane for a few days before a return drive back to Adelaide via the north coast of New South Wales, central NSW and the Riverlands. We spent two solid days of entertaining caching in the area around Charleville, Cooladdie, Augathella and Morven before heading along the Landsborough Highway to Blackall. Thanks for the cache geohoppe_Magnetic0!

17-Sep-23
Found as I travelled up from Adelaide with FeatherWaite to the QOGM event at Longreach. The plan was to head to Cunnamulla via Broken Hill and Tilpa, then up to Charleville to complete the caches that had been published since we were last there a year or two ago. From there we were planning to go to to Longreach via Barcaldine, although the exact route would depend on how much time we had available. The weather was a little warmer than we had anticipated, but it made for some pleasant evenings as we camped out along the way. Most of the caches were found without any issues and were in reasonable condition unless otherwise indicated. Thanks geohoppe for the cache.

Second day at Charlesville, QLD.
Accompany with DeafVW, DeafCat and DeafPhantom. I am appreciative of them because they are young and have more energy and good equipment as I didn't bring Ladder with me.
Handy one of them can climb so I just stood and watched. SmileSmile
What great fun - saw plenty of cows, emus and goats.
Thank you for organising the cache and hunt.

32,503. Found during our Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure - a 33 day epic tour of Northern NSW and Outback Queensland finding many caches, attending great events and catching up with awesome Cachers along the way.Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure Day 4. Well the trip was well and truly underway. I have never been to a QOGM before, and since this was the last one I decided to head up there for the fun. We are staying in Charleville for 5 nights so I can really hit all the trails around the region. Today we are heading out towards Morven on one road cleaning up, then back along another. A big day planned. This was the next find of the day. A quick find once at GZ. Signed the log, usually as F65 A33, replaced the cache as found, then we continued on our journey. Thanks geohoppe & Magnetic0 !!

We are now on our way to Longreach for the QOBM event next month. As we missed the big event here, it was now time to grab some of the caches around the area. Another big day today, doing some of the trails around the area. Today it was with Liz and Bruce, which is a nice change from my solo caching.

Stopped off here and made a quick find.

Thanks geohoppe for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Hi there geohoppe, we found your cache Cooinda.

Today is day fifteen of our QOGM22 Trip. The plan today was to do some of the town caches. Now that everyone has gone, there is no need to hurry an finish everything.

Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log are in good shape.

On Day No 6 in Charleville , the day started with a brekkie from Council Murweh. Thank you, it was delicious!

Then we used the time for caching within Charleville.

Our favourite event is the QOGM -
TBU2Uwe001 and I enjoy our 4th time here in the outback.

Thanks a lot to the Team QOGM 2022 Murweh and the other COs to invest so much time and efforts for organising those events and putting out the caches.

Found during QOGM 22 and with silverfox1970 and firebatman88. We always love coming to these events and finding caches in the local area. This year we took a week off work to attend and go caching. Day 4 of my outback travels and the continuation of my Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster trip for 2022. With the success of our last year’s team (Mavericks), Willis007, Triple Turmoil, Jacs team and myself have joined up again to start and continue our assault on Charleville as, “Charle Villain’s”.

Today was a few caches around town and then a drive around collecting the Murweh Musings. These were a fun set of puzzles to solve and to collect. We ended up back in Cooladdi and spent some time checking out some features of the town and talking to the lovely ladies of the shop. Of the caches we collected, we signed the logs and replaced caches as found, thank you for the fun today.
Sorry for the generic log but I’m sure there are enough logs for hints and actual placements previously or to follow by others.
