After a bit of tooing and froing I finally got to the right structure.A forensic search soon had the cache in hand.Log is pretty soaked....though still writeable. Many tftc RichDani.....thoroughly enjoyed...cheers ST.
Have camped here before and it's a great spot with a nice creek to watch from the viewing platform. Unfortunately the toilets here are now closed though. After eating our lunch in the sun in the top car park we wandered down to GZ where this nicely engineered cache was quickly found thanks to the generous clue.A great first cache but you have set the standard high for yourself!!!But well done and this one deserves a favourite point. Thanks RichDani.
On a 2 week holiday, we are having a great time and the weather has been very kind treating us to sunny days and loving the trees in their autumn tones,we needed a break from driving so stopped here to pick up this cache, nice hide.TFTC
Passing through Rosebery this morning and stopped here to search for this cache. A sneaky hide! TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
Tasmania Trip Day 6. It is time to move on from Burnie, and I headed south towards Queenstown. There were of course a few detours, both for counties and for popular destinations Zeehan and Strahan. Unlike the last few days, the roads got quite twisty at times, but the scenery was spectacular and Queenstown although quite on a Sunday afternoon, was an interesting place to look around and find dinner. There were quite a few great small towns along here and it was good to be able to get out and stop to find a cache here. Thanks for the cache RichDani45921.17 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Braille A#117**Albida**
We kunnen terugkijken naar 2 mooie weken in Australi!NLBokkie and I are going on holiday to Australia for 4 weeks. We will go to Tasmania for the first week and then travel around on the "mainland" for 3 weeks. Along the way I'll meet my niece, I haven't seen her for 50 years. It will be a holiday full of experiences......Our cache goal is to visit different countries. So we fly back to Dubai and forth via HongKong. We would like to score an FTF in Australia. We do that in Tasmania Then the webcam caches in Adelaide and the old caches between Adelaide and Sydney. Then we end up at the Mega in Canberra. A full program which a lot of fun!Unfortunately, after 2 weeks we have to end our trip with an earlier return flight to the Netherlands. My mother passed away and we have to go back. We can look back at 2 beautiful weeks in Australia!
[8982] Holidays on Tasmania, day 6. Today we left Strahan for our next stop near Smithton. Again, we spent most of the time driving, but we stopped also for some Geocaches and the 3 hrs walk to the Montezuma Falls. Finally, a really nice and impressive waterfall. At the end of the day, we added 10 smilies to the Geocaching map and enjoyed another beautiful day. This geocache added its share to the fun we had. While my wife overlooked the replacement, I found it within seconds. Nice hide! TFTC!
We spent 40 minutes here. Couldnt find a cache we had a good idea of what to look for but cache did not reveal itself. TFTH only as good as your last find.
It would have been nice to look for this cache but there were too many muggles hanging around. I guess it will have to wait until my next visit.Keep smiling
TFTC! Continuing our adventure around Tazzie for our pancake honeymoon we made a quick stop here to stretch our legs. We searched nearly every structure and tree before Pancaka1 finally found it! Great cache!!
easy find in Stitt Park Rosebery on this beautiful afternoon. watch the dodgy rotten boards on the viewing platform tho.Cache and contents in good condition.
Located with Ricardinho A quick find for RNZ He's used this kind of hide himself on some of his own caches in NZ.Day 9 of our Tassie/Sydney trip and we are making our way to Moina from Strahan. A beautiful drive through the rain forest to Cradle Mountain, with the highlight being a side trip to Trial Harbour. The birdlife here was epic!!! Another awesome day exploring Tassie TFTC
Catching upon a couple of late logs. This was a quick find. There was just us here and it was a clever hide. Similar to a few I have done myself back home!TFTC RichDaniDay 9 of our Aussie trip and today we are going from Strahan to Moina, our base for Cradle Mountain. We stopped at a couple of small towns on the way through, but the wee gem for us was Trial Harbour, which is a pretty spot, was warm and sunny today and had some great birdlife.Another good day exploring what this cool state has to offer.
On the way home after a six day west coast sojourn featuring geocaching as the main activity.Looked for this once before, but thre were muggles on site, and we must have been pretty blind, unless its in a different hiding place. Anyway, sucess this time. Pity this little park isn't what it used to be though ! TFTC RichDani
A lovely spot and a nice quick find for the sharp eyed. TFTC a favourite for you.
A quick find in the drizzle as we passed through town.
A very lovely kirk's path we will have to remember for future lunch / morning tea stops

Megawat60 and I have said goodbye to the West Coast and are headed North East. Found this clever cache, TFTC!
I made a quick find of this when passing through on a geocaching trip on the west coast.
Couldn't spot it anywhere, must be well hidden. There was muggles around aswell so I didn't want to look like a weirdo.
We found this cache while exploring the west coast area of Tassie for a week.
Today we're on our way to Tullah so we called in to Rosebury to explore the area.
TG was the finder on this clever hide. I did see it but I discounted it for the real thing.
Just watch out for the ants nearby, they were a little vicious at the time.

YAY - we found Spitt Park 1. Find 14 of Day 4 of our Great Tassie 2023 Caching Adventure. An awesome cache container and hide in a cute park. Log signed and we were off. TFHC
Found while on a Tassie holiday with TT016, PrincessAria1 & LittleG00sE. Today we had a long trek from Stanley to Strahan via Penguin. It was nice to stop & find some caches along the way & stretch our legs. We wandered down to take a look at the river. One of the little ones got bitten by something so there was a bit of commotion. The cache took a bit of a search but eventually found. Nice one.TFTC RichDani
Took a while to find but very cool hide found with hevwalker little goose and princess Aria
We are enjoying our 3rd week travelling around Tassie, visiting places that we haven’t spent time in previously. Highlights include Bruny Island for Christmas, the platypus at Geeveston and Cygnet and lots of lovely camping spots. After staying overnight at Rosebery we stopped here to find your cache before moving on.
Thank you for the cache.
Thank you for the cache.
Love the cammo! Just tricky enough yo make it a satisfying find. We camped in Roseberry for great night out our way down south
Came to fill up with fuel. And thought we’d do a quick cache while in Rosebery.
What an awesome cache

Heading north on a rainy day. Not stopping for a picnic in the park today, must be lovely here with a little sunshine, though. The cache's worth a visit even in the rain, a good idea and nicely crafted.

We noticed that the previous log by Cee422 is not the Stitt Park #1 cache but our cache GA7246 ICEM Verse 6 - Rosebery, which is a Geocaching Australia cache. The code number is clearly visible on the lid of the container. Our cache is about 30m away from the Stitt Park #1 cache.
Today was a quick trip to the West Coast to look for some caches that have been published since our visit.
Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks RichDani for the cache in a pleasant area.

Saw this yesterday and decided to have a look for it at lunch. It’s a well constructed cache and well hidden. Pleased to see that I’m FTF at 11:58am. You will need a TOTT to extract log paper. TFTC.
