Thank you for the geocache. This afternoon myself and the Geo puppy set out on another solo adventure to go and find three cases in the area. At first I was certain I knew where this one was and I had a look and couldnt find it going on the urban dictionary of all places and understand the hint I had one more look and there it was.
We spent couple of hours in this area to refresh our memories and get some of the caches nearby. This was one of them. We found it and signed the log.Tftc Tuppens
Out with my muggle brother and TBU1BIKESU to find more smilies. Found the cache and signed the log. Tftc
Moved cache back to the correct location. Thanks to the previous finders for letting me know that it might have moved.
After dropping the eldest at trade school Alyce and I decided to stay in the area for a few hours to continue our weekly outage to increase our find count.Wow, what a beautiful little spot by the creek, very tranquil, just be weary of the grabby plants at GZ theyre overly touchy! We had no issue locating the hide, although, were unsure if its meant to be hidden the way we found it.Thanks for bringing us here.#4287 - TFTC
Redeemed a previous dnf! I was in the area to find a nearby puzzle cache and needed more steps so headed to find this cache. Searching by the light of my phone torch by then, I spotted the previously elusive cache! I must put my headlight back in my geocaching bag as by now it was too dark to head back through Bunya reserve and I had to return to the car by streets! TFTC Glad the sad blue face is gone!
2day, my compass stayed still hx helped (a lot) still, I spent a long time scratching around "NAGL" with mosquitoes enjoying a meal, then bingo! At the right height/angle it made itself known to me, reversing my previous DNF....& T4TC:-)
Checked in. Removed a few fallen leaves from on top of the cache, its clearly visible from the right angle now
This one had eluded my once recently but my cachey senses weren't really on that day. Today, having read the logs and feeling determined I circled that darned tree over and over again. Then, something stood out as different and there it was. A satisfying find, I signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for this tricky little hide.
Approaching from Cowrie Parade, it was this geocache's nearby playground that we stopped at to have a swing and use the "tunnel slide". I managed to persuade infant Cottontail that we would be back, and find this geocache as an interlude to the playground use. A shame about Julia Fox’s story, and it just goes to show how precious and limited our lives are. It took a couple of loops at GZ and a change in angle before I spotted the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. The logbook was slightly damp, but no issue for this waterproof paper logbook. Thanks tuppens for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
----------
This morning, infant Cottontail and I decided to take the small drive north for a spot of tree fishing, and play in Albany Creek. The fresh letterbox hybrid caches along Jinker Track in Bunyaville Conservation Park were the first target, and strangely, it was my south-western corner of my D-T grid that was starting to become "critical path" i.e. 4.5-1.0. A couple of these letterbox hybrid caches appeared to satisfy that need, and following our fishing, we then went north for a nearby playground. As it turned out, another unmapped playground became our stop when we found a geocache nearby, and as the morning closed out for the lunch nap, we returned home.

Have walked past here many times. Didn’t even realize there was a cache nearby. TFTC
tuppens I found your cache A Retreat on 12/4/2023, 12:35 pm. This is my find 4995 and find # 9 today. Found it after a bit of a search. Not where I thought it would be. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
11/4/2023 Find #6024
The day didn’t really have a proper plan. Apart from the fact I needed to do a quick spot of maintenance and return a cache to the wild. But with that done, I decided to take a gander at the map and see what was around. And I noticed a couple of caches not too far from where I happened to be. Well, why not?!
I plugged in the first one and the car directed me here, where I found some nice convenient parking in the shade and made my way around the walking track.
It got close to the houses not far from GZ and I began to wonder. However in moments that chanced, as I came upon a surprising little spot here. With not a soul around, I headed on in and quickly spied something that seemed slightly out of place to a cacher’s eye. Sure enough behind it was exactly what I was after.
Log signed, I took a moment or two to appreciate the area before making my way back to the car.
Thanks for the cache tuppens.

Found this one after a bit of a search. Round and round I went, and then it was in my hand. With the log signed, it was Pur back in place for the next cacher.

Going Geocaching with my Dad and little brother. It didn't tell us the right coordinates but we found it. But anyways, it was a fun find.
TFTC.

Time for a bit of caching after work…
I followed the path until I came to a large puddle… mmm…. Not really dressed for caching, but here we are… despite the dampness I didn’t end up that wet…

Picup a few caches in the area before a Christmas event.
Had to look a second time before I found it.
Find number 28385 for me.
Thank you tuppens for hiding this geocache.

A surprising little pocket, hidden at the end of the path. A thorough search through the obvious spot revealed nothing but a glance in the right direction soon had the cache found. Thanks tuppens
Found after a quick circumnavigation of the tree and a short search. All in good condition. TFTC
With things easing back for the festive season the regular MTB ride schedule for Monday has been suspended leaving me free to do a caching run. I ride the Bunyaville MTB trails often and
have seen the new caches popping up in the Albany Creek area through the year. However, riding followed by mandatory coffee and cakes take priority over caching.
I actually rode very close to here last Friday zooming down the fire trail along the edge of the Bunyaville Reserve.
Back to the cache, i had to bid my time and wait for a family on cycles to move one before seeking out the cache. Another cache right where it should be but hidden enough to require a second look.
33 km on the bike this morning make ruzzelz happy. Thanks tuppens.

Out with IolantheK and PerolaK for a play in the park and geocache [^]
Took us a while in amongst the trees to get a good fix for GZ but as usual IolantheK spotted the cache and it was left to PerolaK to do the retrieving.
Now back to the water, ducks and some vollyball [^]

T-Tech and I took PerolaK Jnr out for her birthday, which included roller skating, lunch, ice cream and 2 playgrounds, and of course we got a geocache as well
There was one very good looking spot and we all searched it thoroughly, but it was when I went back for a better look that the very sneaky hide was located. PerolaK Jnr did the fetching. TFTC, tuppens.

Micro sized caches hidden in bushland don't thrill me, but with an easy DT and a hint provided I thought this one seemed like a good option.
Sadly, after 15 mins of searching and getting caught up and scratched by the abundant spiky vines we gave up. Checked lots of spots but no luck.

Checked on this one. It’s still there, tucked away in its hiding spot. There is some natural camouflage in place.
Oops, an app upgrade has taken my default “draft” logs to live logs. Whoops.
Sunday morning and time to take the dog for a walk and I had a volunteer to assist. We spotted a couple of new caches on the north side of town, and there looked like a good walk between them. This was the first cache that we attempted today.
Parked the car and headed through to the walking tracks and across the bridge to a clearing. We honed in on the cache location and about 15m out had to head into a thicket being careful of the prickles along the way. This took a little while to spot. We loved the sneaky hide and extracted the container and scribed our name on the log roll. All put back in place and we were back to the trail onto the next cache.
Thanks very much for the cache placement tuppens. Cheers

I found this in the first spot I checked. As I walked back to the car I found myself wandering why there was a house in the middle of the park. Thanks for the cache
I got an email about attempting to break a world record for most people finding a cache on 20th August - but is that in Australia today, or the rest of the world tomorrow? Found this new one in the dark, just in case it's today! TFTC
I was up on the Sunshine Coast to grab a few cache’s with Selva Girls and CuriousQuest. We had lots of today plus lots of chatting.
We drop CuriousQuest at his home then I drove to my place Selva Girls jump into her vehicle to go home.

Thank you Tuppens for your first hide. It is a good hide and the coords were spot on for me.

Sitting at home with Maddie playing cards and the phone goes ding. Oh first to find Maddie, yeah where? She says. Oh it is 44 miles away, to far for us. We continued playing and then I checked the phone again and I missed the other one that came out. Oh this one is 300mtrs away but it is a 18 minute drive around, oh my.
So off I went and started my drive around, I got to GZ and my head lamp dies and I am searching by phone light. I got hooked up a few times on the thorn vines in the area. I was pretty sure I had the right spot but just could not get a vibe. Then my mate Brislions turns up with a great torch and it made things a little easier.
Now I searched that tree a few times and missed the sneaky little placement I’m going to blame it on the lack of light, lol. Well done on the find Brissy and thanks for the joint FTF, glad you got to keep your streak going. We signed the log and placed it back in its sneaky spot.
Thanks for the hide and the cache a favourite point for the cache.
