A fine afternoon, so I knocked off work early to pick up rattll. We decided to come out here for the daily cache, as it's one that we've passed several times at night, but never been able to spot anywhere to stop. Today, we parked the car some distance away, and walked the few hundred metres to GZ. Once there, rattll had the cache in hand in seconds. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!

Lovely dry cache find on a sunny day after an early finish from work. Happened to be going past on a walk and remembered there being on in the area. Nice quick find. Tftc

I was out playing the getting lost game with a friend and we got stuck in a nearby subdivision and couldnt find our way back up so i hunted for the nearest geocache that took us back out to the motorway and we ended up here. A quick easy find. Stood in a gorse bush on my way back to the car looking at my phone to log the find instead of looking where i was going. It stings a bit. Love the info and the long roundabout walk to get from one side of the motorway to the other.Mystery at the museum, marks frog and voodoo tramp came to visit today. Thank you for the cache.

I'm not a fan of brutalist roadside sculpture but, hey, people hated the Angel of the North when it was first built so what do I know. A quick find in good condition. TFTC.

TFTC #61 - QEF, fun little cache

18-Jun-23
I'm collecting a few caches before the event here in Hamilton the 18@1800 or 18th June at 6pm, either or. This event is rather special, there's a souvenir involved and I believe a special cake to be made by FMZ's partner!

No worries with this cache though, I parked my van up somewhere safe and walked to here.

These are certainly impressive structures, found a parking spot that was a tad on the risky side but wasn't needed for long as both caches where located very quickly. Thank you for highlighting these artistic creations. TFTC

When I was listing geocaches in Hamilton for my road trip, I initially thought "Nah" ....not for me.
I have had many problems in the past
navigating Hamilton Roundabouts ....and the thought of stopping nearby and findinding caches was a step too far for this cautious driver!
I was very lucky that KayGeeDee offered to accompany me and direct me to safe parking!
Phew!
Easy find.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… It’s International Geocaching Day, and the caching community has a chance to set a new record of total cachers participating today. We’re all about making history…

We left the home of our Huntly friends, and on the drive to our lodgings, pretty much decided to take a detour via Hamilton… We attempted to find these new caches on the Resolution Drive Interchange last night. But a fatal accident had the on ramps cordoned off. At least this section was open…

Another good time of day to approach this cache. Gap found a nearby park and we walked across to this hide. A few cars streaked by below, but we doubt if they even noticed us. Thanks MCC and TFTC.

Woke up early and saw these 2 new caches. Mmm how to navigate to them. Early start as hopefully less traffic. Did number 1 1st. Parked 350 odd meters away. Nice walk to GZ. Easy find. Now how to get to number 2. Google maps was good and I was able to safely park just across the rd. This will be busier soon. Tftc. [FTF] #415
