Out and about in the area finding Adlabs and caches on this gorgeous Sunday arvo, this cache was next on our radar andafter a bit of a hunt we looked at the clue and then GMelb made the find. There sure is a lot of works going on here! I didn't recognise some of the Freeway on the way here at all lol TFTC Long John Silva
Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumulated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Sol's day the twentieth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. A quick find here today, cache is all goodTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
DNF Redemption! The entire area around the original GZ has been removed since I was last here. Was glad to see this one was able to be relocated and I was able to come back and redeem the DNF.My stamp was awfully smudgy today but the black marks with a few legible letters are all mine.A big thanks goes to Long John Silva for taking the time to add SideTracked - Watsonia (2) to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Are you ready for Victorias next big event?Join us for Victorias first ever *Block Party* to celebrate 25 years of geocaching.**When:** March 22 - 23, 2025**Where:** Hume Global Learning Centre, SunburyLog your will attend at [**GCAP417: The Sunbury Event** ](https://coord.info/GCAP417) Visit our [**Block Party website** ](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/the-sunbury-event) for more details on the exciting lineup of events and activities as they are released!

Hopefully, this time will be the last time! The container is the same so no need to change any attributes.
New container... new location... hopefully this one will endure this time.
The cache has disappeared... along with the light pole it was attached to! I have a new location so all I need now is a new container...
It looks like the "missing link" project has taken over the cache location again... off line until I check it out.
I hate to say it but I think North East Link may have struck again!I managed to get within a few metres but no matter where I went construction fencing blocked my every move. Looks like this area will be out of action for a while.
Today is Feb the 29th which only comes around every 4 years so Im trying to get as many caches as I can so I dont have to wait another 4 years. This was one of them. Quick find TFTC
We went on a SideTracked run with ilook4geoand it was good to look for these on a weekend. There was plenty of parking available at each stop. We managed to park very close to this one and spotted it really quickly. Thanks for this SideTracked cache go to Long John Silva.
It was time for a sidetracked hunt with goinplaces2 and a lot of logs were signed to add to our tally for this series. A very quick find here. TFTC.
For some reason these caches keep sidetracking me... Nice little hide though very muggle exposed. Tftc
Really sidetracked, the car park is almost empty. Only cars passing by the highway.
I was out-and-about while the rain tumbled and figured that I'd have a shot at this one. Thankfully I could park right next to GZ and soon spotted the nicely camoed in-plain-view stash at 15:10 to open its account for **2024**. TNLNSL, although a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Long John Silva.
A quick find, blends in nicely, the way things change around here I expect a version 3 within a year. Thanks Long John Silva for SideTracked - Watsonia (2)#6052

Cache found and log signed with dalerious on a quick trip to Melbourne for my birthday . We noticed that the sidetracked caches here were "other" caches, and as we are always on the lookout for this cache attribute, we decided to find and sign as many as we could, in the short time that we had .Was easy to stay incognito here under the cover of darkness.Thank you Long John Silva
Found with catnap777 on a weekend predominantly spent chasing EarthCaches, but hey......We can always use another "other". Thanks Long John Silva for a quick parkngrab for this "other" sized trad' cache signed and returned in good condition before anyone had the chance to even ponder why we two were loitering here.
An easy find but not sure how long this site will be valid given the work going on with the North east Link and Watsonia station. Have been a long time resident of Watsonia - moved here when the Greensborough Highway was still be in constructed.
Our third sidetracked adventure: this time on the Hurstbridge line! We began our adventure in Berwick, straight to Parliament and then changed straight onto the Hurstbridge line. A lady came on before Victoria Park selling the Big Issue - always buy one!Our first stop, Fairfield where we were greeted by the big dog. Was a fairly Fairfield easy find.We tried to find the cache in Alphington, but it was a bit snakey and given it was a hot day we decided to give it a miss. We found a friendly cat there though. The cache at Ivanhoe was a beauty, surrounded by beautiful parkland. Off to eaglemont, what a delightful little village. We especially loved the cute garden at the station. The Rosanna multi had us stumped so we had a very filling burger and went to Watsonia, where we were greeted by a very classy road cone. Tftf** check out our really sidetracked cache in Pinnaroo, the first sidetracked in South Australia***
A true park n grab here in the Watsonia train station car park! We tried to remain inconspicuous, hard on such a busy corner. Thanks Long John Silva
Working at the construction site across the road, so finally stopped by today to get this find while going to get lunch. TFTC
A Sunday morning caching adventure made for a very empty car park and muggle free experience. Spotted the cache on approach to GZ as I'd picked a few of this type before. Now to pick up a few more in the area before catching the train home.

Today's plan was two fold. To attend the event in Bundoora and to get more than 17 caches in the Banyule LGA to complete the 20 geocaches in the Banyule LGA. Pleased that I completed both, plus 2 other challenges too. Got a new Tree climb cache in a new LGA and a personal challenge of finding a Muzza Puzzle Mania geocache.
Seen a couple of this hide today, so was essy to spot, grab, sign and return with the busy traffic going past.
Thanks for the cache Long John Silva

This SideTracked series has certainly gained a lot of momentum in Victoria in the past year or so. We drove out especially to find this cache today. We managed to get a sweet parking spot within five metres of GZ and then spotted the cache from the car. A bold hide indeed!
Thank you for highlighting this series and adding to it as well Long John Silva

One good thing about your kids growing up is that you can drop them off at an appointment and go and play.
So I figured I'd see what I could find at the library... but of course I got SideTracked by this new edition nearby...
Thanks, Long John Silva.

Decided to head to My Mums for dinner so caught up with Omegaman and did a big detour to satisfy our side tracked obsession, sure was wet and cold today but thankfully we had a quick find here and were back in the warm car on our way.
Thanks
Long, John Silva for the cache.

Long, John Silva for the cache.
Another SideTracked cache to be found and so while the rest of my family joined the Magpie Army on the train to Jolimont and the MCG I went to visit a friend, but not before I stopped at the end of the carpark to find this cache.
A very quick find and I was on my way.
Thank you LJS for adding this replacement cache to the series.

Think I wrote 24 June! Doh....I blame the freezing wind. A nice quick cache as it was very quiet in this little corner today. Slowly collecting more of the sidetracked caches. TFTC
Out for a drive, we stopped for this quick, well disguised cache. Thanks Long John Silva.
In the area after taking a major detour to keep our streak of having every sidetracked cache in Victoria logged.
After arriving at Gz we soon had the log signed.
Cheers for the cache.

Ah, missed the email by 20mins and came in 3rd place to Bundoorian and Sonic________. In their excitement they both logged it 4 days early. Haha. Thanks for the cache!
24 June 2023 10:17 am Saturday bunadoorian FTF. This cache popped up on my email and Grub62 wasn't ready for the world yet, so abandoning her I ventured out and procured myself a solo FTF. Since 1 of my caches had to be archived nearby it left this area free for a new one. Thanks Long John Silva for placing a cache close to my home address. TFTC.
GT37 and I were quite surprised at how much construction there is going on here. Didn't help us park I must say. Thanks for the cache.
By the time I had found somewhere to park and made my way to GZ, Papi already had the cache in hand. Thank you for placing this cache.
