Despite the constant rain, we fished this cache from the tree today. Finishing the area, Shazzar66 and I drove to a nearby street and parked half way between the 4 caches that we wanted to find. I actually spotted the cache, for a change, and Shazzar66 did the fishing.Unfortunately, Ive only got 7 so far, so Ive got a bit of work to do on this challenge. Im overseas a fair bit this September so it will have to wait until 25. Thats okay though. Its always good to have challenges to work on.

Out with Selva Girls grabbing a few caches and after parking nearby we went for a walk along this pathway to grab a few challenge caches. Greetings from Ireland! I am visiting Australia for approximately 5 weeks (I was born in Darwin but moved to Ireland at the age of 3. Day 2 of MegaGOM boating and tree fishing expedition with **bella at waggy**, **Baktrak**, **Purplepeopleater** and an anonymous local.

After some marine engineering and 2 fresh tanks of fuel late yesterday afternoon, MV Grumpy was purring nicely this morning. Unfortunately, we were soon churning up mud at low tide which caused us to revert to human powered craft. Spent another fine day on various waterways.

After a day out with geofriends finding challenge caches in and around Tinchi Tamba, I am catching up on my logging.
I do remember taking a few road trips with Peppa to find caches with this attribute but I must admit, I had already qualified for this challenge so it was fun rubbing it in every one we found...

A few QOGM's, trips interstate to attend MEGA's and general geocaching in the great beyond where I achieved this challenge with 64/25 caches needed (to date).

On the northside of town again today and after my appointment, I headed off for a couple of challenge caches that were sort of in the area. I had parked up and was talking to a mate on the phone when this car pulls up beside me and the dog in the car starts barking at me. OH MY Goodness it was Grannysmith1947 and Miss Millie, lol, too funny. She was about to do the same walk as me.

We got our tool of the trade out and off we went for a walk just the three of us. While I started at September and continued on along the path, Granny had already grabbed a couple of these so it was just a walk for us both. We signed he logs on all three caches along here. we agreed we would check on the checkers when we got back home if we passed or not.

Doing a check and it seems I pass on this one.

Good thing I picked up the fishing pole before we left. An easy grab and return here, but neither of us qualify yet.

Muggle65, Brislions and l did a Saturday drive to collect a load of caches needed to qualify for this one. Turned out to be a great day out which is often what happens when we have a challenge focus. Thank you for another fun challenge

Out with to finally sign this one, knowing full well I qualified. Some of these challenge caches do take a bit of chasing to fulfill & initially I was short so Bris, & myself went on a huge day trip to bolster our numbers before the October one came out.

Despite loving camping, we only had 7 camping attributes in September when this cache came out.

Whilst we didn’t go camping, we did go hiking and travelling and managed to pick up an additional 13 caches to add to our target. That includes 5 in New Zealand and we have planned to go back as they have some really nice camping spots!

So with a total of 20, we don’t quite qualify but hope to next year, the log is signed for when we do. This challenge took us to some really awesome places, thanks georode for another great challenge

It seems we must have done a lot of camping in September over the years, as this challenge did not present a problem for us.
It’s great to be back in Brisbane for a bit and we were very keen to collect these caches.

Sunday. Whilst out today having a caching day and coffee with Que Sera, La Kedi and Ruzzelz, Que Sera raised this cache and said she was after caches to meet the challenge. Ruzzelz and I couldn’t help but look and I saw that Slow Puncture well and truly qualified with 38/25 caches required! We grabbed this cache on our way home. It was a nice cache to finish the day of caching on. Thanks to Que Sera for bringing this one to our attention!

This was the 10th of 10 caches found on this outing.

I am relatively new to this tree fishing caper, this being only my third outing with my new 8 metre long pole. Must be getting the hang of it, as I had this one down and back up again, complete with my name included in a flash.

Clearly I don't go camping much in September with only 8 qualifying finds here. Lots of work to do here.

Slow Puncture, Ruzzlez and i took a nice walk to do a bit of tree fishing . I do not qualify and only had 1 cache at the start of this month with camping attribute. Now 14 after a big trip yesterday to Kikivan , Gunalda and Boreen Point. Will work again next September to try and qualify. I was so happy to come here today to see a couple of Black swans with their babies. Thanks for the fun challenge and taking us here. Looks like Crooked Pete was here earlier with a much better photo of the swans. They did not seem to mind us at all

Also retrieved, signed and replaced Oct, Nov and Dec today by myself and muggles but saw some beautiful cygnets and family near Sep. Apparently according to the CO I passed December challenge! Bring it on! Woo hoo!

A very busy day in between catching up with burgo78 and dahumbug for a couple of tree climbs.
This new cache had been on my radar so thought I'd make the effort and grab it sooner than later. Lovely placid area to stroll around and was pleasantly surprised to see two cygnets with their mother on the water, so cute!

This evening, an errand was made nearby to home, and then it was a trip towards Bald Hills and Bracken Ridge for late-night geocaching. The tree fishing TOTT got some use at a few geocaches during the night, and I finished out the evening avenging a couple of DNF caches in Carseldine.

Whilst I was out and about, the newly published cache notification came through, and this cache wasn't too far away, but in another new challenge area. So after parking nearby and taking the short walk to GZ, the cache was spotted in a tree which indicated a choose your adventure for returning the cache. A challenge that I didn’t seem to have an issue with qualifying for, but I was surprised to see others I knew didn’t have too many of this attribute. Perhaps campfires are a rare treat in Queensland than in my previous home state of South Australia… maybe that’s the root cause for all that arson? The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks georode for the challenge cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
