Hi there mackay_geocaching, we found your cache GEOMAC-WREN today. Its day 19 of our geocaching trip to Mackay. We are definitely enjoying the country geocaches more than the city ones. So today were doing another rural cache run. Its White. Another favourite point given here. Coordinate Accuracy: We found this cache near where our GPS said we should be looking. Cache Condition: Good. Regards Ian & Penny (Found and logged using Cachly).
After having spent couple of weeks up North in Queensland, we are now heading back home - but still looking for smileys! We found this cache and signed the log.TftcA fav point from me
Sweet little birdie! After QOGM 2023 in Longreach, TBU went on a round trip via Mount Isa, Burketown, Karumba, Ravenshoe, Atherton Tablelands down to Innisfail to Townsville. Now we are heading towards South back home, still refreshing our memories and collecting smileys. It was a nice variety of hides and we bumped into couple of cachers on the way. Thanks for this cache,Geicaching_Mackay

Out this morning with a plan. Hay Point, Salonica Beach and Louisa Bay. It was hot and humid, Mr D was my driver and sat with the doggies while I did the searching, which is not much fun on your own. The thought of snakes and spiders always in the back of my mind as I enter these beach side areas. However, we did manage 11 out of 16 (yes, I know that is 5 DNFs, but I may go back again sometime.
Could not work out the way in, so decided to give it a miss today

T4t$ After an afternoon of maintenance, rewarded ourselves with a couple of finds. No problem finding it, except navi said straight ahead 10m through spider web with the biggest spider I have ever seen. (Except the one up the road a bit, lol) FP for your 3D printing.
A stroll through the bush and I spotted this one over there
Rights disappeared but eventually popped out near us

After a quick find down the road, I was hoping for the same here.
Got to gz and began my search.
This one took a little longer but I do like the birdlife around here.
Finally found the hide and signed the log.
I was almost at the geomobile and came very close to another of the local residents.
Long, black and legless is not what you want to see in this terrain.
I stopped and he/she quickly turned and left the scene.
Close call but no harm done.
