What a stunning day Dunedin has turned on. The sun was out. Hardly any breeze, and just the ideal day to spend caching. Thanks for setting up these caches.
Day ten of our epic New Zealand Adventure with The Morris. We have at last arrived in Dunedin. We spent today riding the Otago Vine clockwise, collecting caches as we came across them.Stopped at Port Chalmers for lunch then caught the ferry to Portobello.Mostly a nice day except for a bit of rain just out of Portobello (but we soon dried off).An interesting hide, never seen one quite like this before. Thanks, Robmc.
Day 10 of our Enzed adventures with Robmc. We arrived in Dunedin yesterday and today we hired bikes to ride the Otago Vine including a ferry ride across the bay.We managed to collect a lot of the puzzles we had prepared for and I think we only had a couple of DNFs. It rained, the sun shone, the wind blew, it was calm - the whole gamut really. Thanks for contributing to the fun Wilbywarrior
A surprisingly quick find on a cycle ride today. No muggles at this point thankfully and a favourite point from me. TFTH
Out on a cyclocache ride up the cyclepath from Andersons Bay to Portobello and back. Awesome hide gets a fav. Thanks Wilbywarrior.
Had a great day today cycling from Tunnel Beach all the way up to Larnach Castle. Picked up many caches along the way.Fun one, managed to grab it quickly, tftc!
A little time to spare in Dunedin so we headed out to try for some caches around the coast. Nice to have some sunshine although the wind was pretty strong.
Many thanks for the hide Wilbywarrior

Spending a few days in Dunedin on trip to this end of the country. A fantastic day for a trip along the harbour and retrieval of a few caches. I agree that this is a pretty classy hide. It gets a FP. Thanks for the cache.

Loved it, very clever idea! Took me longer than I'd like to admit but pleased I persisted! Thanks!
Ooh this was noicely done. Was it by design or accident? as one of these is not like the others. Many hands have played a part in making a smooth transition to have mint tin in hand quickly as the traffic buzzed past. Being in the West bound lane, luckily no cyclists came by at that wery moment of discovery. Cache dry and ok, without a baggy. Signing log and returning cache to hide as found. Placed lid top up, these caches shouldn't leak too badly. Eyed the track up the cliff wondering whether more boots on the steps will make the ascent easier as locals start running out of trads to find close to town. ***3rd** Wheel challenge **Daily** Out & About! **4th** of 20. Trad **17pt** High Fav! **54pt***. TFTC
A nice quick find. A fav point for the sneaky hide. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are heading to Invercargill for a tramping club 75th jubilee, so we left a bit early in hope that the weather would be fine, so we could get a bit of caching in. So far it has been good, fingers crossed for the rest of the time away.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.

Find #7161
Found on March 16, 2023
We are from Abilene, Texas, USA and have come to New Zealand to visit with a friend. We plan on going after different Cache Types while here. We will also find geocaches while going sight seeing. Today we are out with Bitsprayer and Drawp.
Thank you, Wilbywarrior for placing this cache for all to find. We sign log sheets either as Love Cachers or LCers. This gets a Fav Point from us.
Driving over 50 miles to have...
Rusty barbed wire ripping through your clothes...
Curious rattlesnakes that come out of nowhere...
Itchy mosquito bites on every inch of your body...
A 40 mph wind gust blowing sand into your ears, nose and mouth...
Cactus needles getting stuck deep in your hands, arms and legs...
Thorny Mesquite trees scratching you up from head to toe...
Some or all of these things on a hike through 101° heat...
To sign your name or trade a toy...

This is a beautiful spot today. I sat a while and read the logs, checked the phone GPSr and found I was at 0metres. Found the cache in the second spot I checked. Great hide, TFTC.
We had a bit of a stroll along the walkway to the site of this one. Did a bit of thinking, a bit of investigating, and there it was. Found with Debsnz.
Good thing we stopped to assess the area before diving into search mode because something slightly odd was noticed and after further investigation a find was quickly made.
A fairly quick find of a craftily hidden cache, which gets a favourite from us. TFTC
Awesome cache - Geokid 9 was stoked to spot it right away. Loved the nearby steps. TFTC.
On a picnic with P&Vee and hubbies, parked down the road and walked back. TFTC. Great cache.
Now that I am able to find caches without adult help (other than driving me around!) dad is starting to take me to caches he has already found but I haven't. He stands back and doesn't help me so this find was all my own work! Clever hiding place. TFTC.
I was away from home when this one was published, and was itching to find it when I got home. When I drove past initially, the weather really wasn't conducive to a walk and search (I was travelling the wrong way to park close by). However today, with the sun shining brightly after a snowstorm the previous day, I headed out and enjoyed the short walk to the cache site. As I approached something that seemed to fit in with a previous comment caught my eye, and I have to say that I started in the right place. Before long I had found the cache and signed the log, waiting for passing traffic in-between times. Who knew? Returned the cache exactly as found. Very clever. TFTC. A fav vote from me.
Having had the ups and downs finding #2, we (daywalks and I) hoped that this one would prove easier to find, and so it turned out. After searching a few spots, I noticed something strange. Upon investigation, this proved to be the spot and the container was soon in hand, log signed and container returned. A satisfactory end to a somewhat frustrating day.TNLN. TFTC.
We parked and crossed the road, KiwiChris arrived on his bike, we walked to GZ. Fifteen seconds later, Mrs D was still reading the cache description when KiwiChris held up the cache. Hmm, someone didn't do their job here, or here, did they? The cleverness is in finding where someone didn't...!
Enjoyed finding this one, Third for me and zero for Hal2929. Stats improved later on. What a good hide. Fav from me.
Thanks Wilby for the cache.
Thanks Wilby for the cache.
Distracted by something nearby that absolutely could have been a cache. Once I had extracted it I discovered it wasn't. Presumably a coincidence and not some devilish distraction device hidden by the CO? But extracting that alerted me to something I hadn't realised before and the real cache was quickly in hand. TFTC.
[FTF] 19:29hrs Out at friends and saw no one had logged. We love a cold blustery nighttime first to find! Off to the car to warm up and drive home. Thanks Wilby
