On my way to the blue mountains for a midweek caching trip. Only a few caches on the way. Then in the Mountains was all over the place between Lawson and Lithgow. Well last minute change after all those puzzles solved last night, I also had to detour via Portland.TFTC Wilbert67
I could hear the conveyor belt working. Amazing the length. Cache and log were good. TFTC Noonie1990.

#14460 10:15June Long Weekend has become a tradition to meet up for a weekend of fun and geocaching. This year the group consisted of Everest High, Brewmaker, Martin Cousins, Team Canary, ziggiau and aubeasty. The Mudgee campground would be our homebase for three COLD nights. This was a quick find at an obvious place.Logs were signed with our individual geocaching names or the group name 'Mudgee Madness'.TFTC

Publication of a new AL in Portland prompted me to make a day trip to the town where I spent my early childhood years, a long long time ago. Stopped here on my way home and made a straightforward find ... once I went to the right place! Stupid me not checking where my GPS was pointing me to when I jumped out of the car!! It seems I'm not the only one though to make this rookie error. Thanks for placing this hide Noonie1990 ... it was interesting to hear what I think was the rumbling of the conveyor belt taking coal to Mt Piper while I was here.
Helps to look at the correct guardrail !!! Lol.Spending a few days camping at Lake Wallace with good friends and getting some caches too.Tftc
Found quickly once we got to the right place! Note to self.. take your phone! TfTC

Decided on a run in the new vehicle, together with ilook4geo and finding some caches as well along the way. A nice quick and easy find was made here, both names were added to the log and we were on our way again. Thanks for the cache go to Noonie1990.
