Drove past today think that this was near the street by the 2 schools, nope, fail. Came back later in the evening with way less muggles around, under the guise of running, to find the cache. It was actually spotted by the friend i was running with. Quick find and we went off running around pit park again. Dont often get up this way to run, its a nice spot.
Out and about with Flowerydaze up from Kapiti and attending the event put on by the Seagnoid in Palmerston North and to grab a few caches at the same time. A quick find after a nice walk in the Park. All good here TFTC JoeyGEO
A quick find on a very pleasant, sunny winter's day. I'm out caching with Talla64 after attending the "Critically Important August Event" earlier in the day. All good here; thanks for the cache JoeyGEO.
Quick find after a nice walk in the park. Good to see a larger container. I wish I'd brought some swaps. Thanks for the cache!
Hey awesome find! Cant believe it was here well I was in school! Never thought about hidden treasure!!
Had time to collect a threesome of local caches here. This was a straightforward find and and a good sized container too. Thanks JoeyGE0.
And this was the second cache I wanted today, particularly as it's a small size geocache. All good here. TFTC
I was roughly in the area this afternoon and decided these two caches in Skoglund Park looked like a nice quick mission.I would've walked right past this cache to thoroughly search a few likely areas and objects before making my way back around to where this cache was sitting snugly.T F T C JoeyGE0.
On a day trip from Hawkes bay. Gosh it's chilli here today. Made the short walk from the car to gz. Quickly spotted the cache. So many planes flying today.Thank you JoeyGE0 for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 4892
This is such a lovely park to enjoy a wander around with matagouri. He didn't take very long to spot the cache. Thanks for putting this here
Found on a sunny afternoon in Palmy with rattll. A short hunt at GZ, before spotting the cache closer to the tree than indicated by the hint. All good in container. Tftc!
Nice trip up to Palmerston North today with tmann421 to collect some caches. It was drizzling when we left Waikanae but the weather man told us last night that the sun would be out in PN. He did not disappoint.Short stroll to GZ and soon had cache in hand. Thanks JoeyGEOSigned log tm/ww NZ
Another nice trip to the Palmerston North area with woolwood9.*Good weather and many nice caches found.* I am a lot slower now and our target caches are fewer on these trips.SL *tm/ww NZ*Thanks for giving us a reason to visit. Good short walk to the cache!
#14,174. Nice walk off Thames Street in Roslyn, Palmerston North. GZ was all quiet at the time of our visit. Found after a short search. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.Thanks for the geocache placement, and for bringing us to this site, and .T h a n k s. .f o r. .t h e. .c a c h e..M a u r u u r u. .k o e. .n u i. .a t u. .h o k i. .t e. .k e t e r o k i.
Some of the grass I walked on today was very soggy but I don't remember that being the case here. I was pretty sure I knew where the cache was hidden and I was soon proved correct.
Nobody around here today had the whole park to myself, very quick find here.
Thanks for the placement and the smiley.

Found with the Broken Biscuits posse on our ANZAC Day foray to the winterless north. TFTC JoeyGEO!
25 April 2023 12:03 TFTC JoeyGE0 for placing this cache, number 12570 for me. As usual, the other members of the team got there first...
#12,821. The team from Wellington came up to attend the ANZAC day event. After it was over we took on a host of local caches to boost the April find count. This was one of them. A wander across the park to GZ and soon one of the team checked the right spot and found the cache. It was signed as "Broken Biscuits," our tag name for the day as we were driving around in two cars (I had to ask as well - think Anzac biscuits spilt in two). Anyway the cache was replaced as found and it was on to the next one. Thanks JoeyGEO for hiding it here.
Needed about 60 caches today to make the 100 for April, so went out for a day with BFG, Denomynator, bruzie, GSEL and Infoferret. Managed about 30 only odd today with a few DNF's. Swapped cars at the end to make a few more and got back around 9:15pm after the last handful in the dark. Signed as "Broken Biscuits". Again once we ignored the hint, we found the cache in seconds. I'd replace "near" with "in". Thanks for the cache and lovely walk here.
Quick find, but not quite per hint? The contingent of me, bruzie, CrystalFairy, Denomynator, GSEL, & Infoferret signed as Broken Biscuits (you know, ANZAC Day, 2 cars…) Thanks JoeyGE0!
The Wellington contingent of myself, barefootguru, CrystalFairy, Denominator, GSEL and InfoFerret headed up to Palmerston North today for the Calling All Troops event and other caches. Logs signed as Broken Biscuits (or some form of BBCDGI or other).
Nicely sized cache in a hole that's a perfect size.
All good here and TFTC.

Early start to the morning. I left my car at the local tyre shop for a wheel rotation and alignment. Had time to walk and get this cache. I love the size of these caches! Thank you.
Going for a bit of a wander after watching avatar 2 on new year's day. Quick find, making it 2/4 attempted caches today.
Oh to change this blue face to a smiley face. it helps if you are at the right tree . I should have gone out into the filed and walked back into GZ instead of having tunnel vision and being sure that i knew ! NOT ! so I met RP at the site and was soon persuaded i was at the wrong tree !
all was very well with cache. All dry. it was signed and replaced as found Thank you for this cache .
all was very well with cache. All dry. it was signed and replaced as found Thank you for this cache .
wITH ALL the explanation etc where it should be i went back today but still came away empty handed ! I fear it is missing .
This was to be my second find but sadly once gain i came away with out locating it hoping i could try again on my way home but as it was three o ' clock it was not a suitable time to start to hunt around again I think i must have tunnel vision with this !
Just had time to collect two caches this evening. It was late and the park deserted but that didn’t stop the nearby dog from sounding the alarm. Thankfully it was a quick fine. Signed and left so that peace was restored. Thanks JoeyGE0.
Parked at the top, headed down the steps (for no reason whatsoever) then looped back up at the far end. Nice and easy here as per hint, cheers
It's getting down to the last few days of October, which is typically my busiest caching month of the year, and same this year. However I've hardly been out, just 5 times so far this month, so I was keen to get out locally, place a couple of my own, and make a few finds to keep things ticking over. Got into double figures for the day and many of JOEYGEO's recent efforts were on my wishlist, and most were located. Thanks to all COs for their caches today.

All quiet here today went I visited. Made the find and headed off to the next one. TFTC
Planned a route a few days to collect 4 caches, today was a perfect day to do it.
Thanks for the placement, cache was all in good order.

I was on this side of town, so stopped to find this cache. Thanks JoeyGE0 for the cache.
As we were at a cafe finishing my birthday lunch today Mr G asked if there were any nearby geocaches. A quick check showed this one only about 600m away - well as the crow flies anyway!
So off we set, drove around to a suitable parking area and then went on a walk in a straight line to GZ. Forewarned by previous logs that the hint might not be quite accurate, it only took us a minute or two to home in on the right spot. We agree that it's more than "near". Fortunately there was no one around at the adjacent school because it's holiday time, but it might be an easily overlooked spot at times. So the formalities were soon concluded and we walked back again. Thanks for the bonus birthday treat and TFTC JoeyGE0.

Thanks again JoeyGE0 for hiding more caches in Palmerston North!
Since the nearby school is closed for the holidays I decided to try again for this one... last week there were too many raucous youths in the area to attempt it.
I managed to lose a few drops of blood but no tears in the finding of this one. This type of host has lots of sharp spikes!

I feel like both the hint and difficulty level needs changing. Might have necking issues too - but otherwise good.
A fairly quick find here, although the cache owner's idea of "near" varied from ours. TFTC
Joint {FtF} at 11.22am
TwigNZ and the Mart0rClan stayed at Castle EtherClan last night, and today we have 6 kids that need to have some of their youthful energy removed from them.
What better way than taking them to a park to run and play while the adults lovingly look on while thinking about how much our joints hurt?
SkyCraneKid (fka EtherMaster) wanted to go back to "Parkour Park" and practise his jumping and swinging, while the other sprogs didn't care where they went. So off we went.
We had been at the park about 15min and were thinking of moving on to another play location when three phones all dinged in unison. That can only mean one thing!
Come on kids, get in the car, we're going on a FtF hunt!
Right, how far away is it? 350m?!? Just the other end of the field?
Come on kids, get out of the car, we're going on a FtF hunt!
We arrived at GZ to the greeting of the neighbour's dogs, but they soon lost interest in us when they realised that we had no interest in them.
The kids climbed and crazied on, while we hunted, and hunted, and hunted, and ...
After 15+min, we were joined by another Clan whose presence was apparently the missing component of our expeditionary force. They hadn't even started searching when TwigNZ found the container in a spot that he, Mart0r, and I had searched multiple times.
If fairness, they were likely only half-hearted searches as the location didn't match the D rating or the hint...
Meh, a FtF is still a FtF! and number 101 at that!
Thanks

Joint {FTF} with Etherlord Clan, Mart0r, and 5GClan at 11:22am, and a first day find.
I was in Palmy today, having driven up from Wellington yesterday after work to spend time with friends. Spending time with these friends meant taking 6 kids out to a park to make the most of a beautiful day and help wear the little darlings out a bit lol!
So it was that there was a sudden sussuration of phone alerts and we were soon walking over to where this new cache had been published. Round and round and round we went, 3 pairs of eyes initially spent almost 20 minutes searching for this cache, before I was finally able to make the find. Nicely hidden, although not really in line with the Hint, and definitely not a D1.
Just as I'd made the find, our group was joined by another caching team so we were happy to call it a joint find. Thanks for making our day out even more rewarding.
