Attended an activity where Geocache was been shown to noobs. There was a number of temporary caches setup for the noobs. After the activity we went and found some real caches. Minecraftlad and I had already been here some months ago and could not find, but this visit was much better. Thanks GoeyGEO for maintaining this cache.
Replaced log .No paperwork. Well described and well concealed cache, but previous log page was nowhere to be seen
Out and about with Flowerydaze up from Kapiti and attending the event put on by the Seagnoid in Palmerston North and to grab a few caches at the same time. All good here TFTC JoeyGEO
The title says it all and led to the find, but the hint confused me. I'm out caching with Talla64 after attending the "Critically Important August Event" earlier in the day. All good here; thanks for the cache JoeyGEO.
Replaced and maintained. All good here!Build Your Life On The Rock (Manawatu) maintained at:24/08/2024 1:56PM
Looks like cache has in fact gone missing! Will sort a replacement! Disabling Build Your Life On The Rock (Manawatu) for nowLog created on 04/08/2024 at 1:10PM
JoeyGE0, we didnt find your cache today. Sorry, but it wasnt for lack of trying though! I think this is missing. Im 99% sure I know where cache is supposed to be based on the hint but its not there! Suggest CO checks
Maybe missing. Tunnel was empty, search the garden, but not keen to do a full search and damage the plantings.
Found what looked like the clue item in the right place, but nothing inside. I'll try again another time.
Didn't feel comfortable trampling all over garden. Using previous photos in log as reference, we were still unable to locate it. Suspect maybe it's been taken?
We tried for this cache a little while ago but too many people around. Back today and all quiet. A quick find here.Thank you JoeyGE0 for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 5178
Had time this morning to collect three caches in this vicinity. I started with this one and thought all would be quiet on a Monday morning, but no! Preparations for a school holiday programme meant there were lots of people and cars about. Took a walk in Pit Park - Skogland park to find two more and after that all was quiet for this straight forward find. Thanks JoeyGE0 for the smiley.
After being pleasantly surprised that I didn't burn up stepping onto the grounds, I soon had cache in hand. Returning it took a little longer due to slightly too short breaks in foot and vehicle traffic but returned all the same. Tftc
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Cheers, Cympull.
Had a quick check yesterday as the church had recently been working on the gardens. Thankfully cache is still here.
Dad is running a geocaching session this weekend for the Scout group at their hall on the other side of the wetlands. Hes put 9 temporary hides around the wetlands and hes taken a group of us round to find them. @HospitalMikes youngest daughter is in the group with me and were having lots of fun finding the fake frogs and birds and things needing magnets. While walking past this end of the wetlands, Dad suggested that we find a real one!
Another nice trip to the Palmerston North area with woolwood9.*Good weather and many nice caches found.* I am a lot slower now and our target caches are fewer on these trips.SL *tm/ww NZ*Thanks for giving us a reason to visit. Good bold hide here in this location.
Nice trip up to Palmerston North today with tmann421 to collect some caches. It was drizzling when we left Waikanae but the weather man told us last night that the sun would be out in PN. He did not disappoint.Great hide in a very public area.FP from meSigned log tm/ww NZ
Nice quick find with TeKainga. Was a bit of a stretch to get it but soon was in hand. Log signed and cache returned. Great idea for labelling too. Tftc
Cache checked. Mint

I'm back in town visiting a fellow geocacher in hospital (of which I deny any responsibility for putting her there, and there were no witnesses to prove otherwise!!!), so went for a wander to find a cache and do a few errands before the visit.
It was reasonably quiet at GZ and the hiding spot was immediately identified making for a quick find.
Thanks for putting this here

I was in Palmy this afternoon and thought a couple of caches would be a good idea on this mild late afternoon.
This was the second, and final, cache today. I parked nearby and made my way around GZ before realizing the cache was the thing I saw when I parked and then actually understanding the hint.

#14,619. Park, walk and grab on Featherston Street in Roslyn, Palmerston North. The GZ was fortunately all quiet at the time of our visit. A bit of initial searching around to no avail. Then realised that we had the old original set of coordinates on our GPS. Recalibrated and moved to the latest set of coordinates some 12 metres away. And there it was. The cache was in good condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.*Thanks for the geocache placement, and for bringing us to this site, and **.T h a n k s. .f o r. .t h e. .c a c h e.**.M a u r u u r u. .k o e. .n u i. .a t u. .h o k i. .t e. .k e t e r o k i.*
Found the hiding spot quite quickly -thanks for the good hint.
Out and about caching with Itchyfeet2020 and matagouri for a fun day caching in and around Palmerston North to cache and to visit friends at a board gaming day. Apologies for the late log. Not quite sure how we signed it -either with our individual names or 3W for the 3 Wellingtonians.
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache JoeyGE0.

On a road trip with NZ_B and matagouri today and in the area. NZ_B did the parking in the right spot and then we were on to the hiding spot straight away. TFTC.
An interesting hide. In order to conceal it better, I was tempted to push it in back further than it was when I found it. However, I thought that could make it quite difficult to retrieve so I put it back how it was.
Nice hide, instant find, contingent sign as Broken Biscuits (because ANZAC Day), rock on JoeyGE0!
Found with the Broken Biscuits crew on our ANZAC Day foray up north to PN. TFTC JoeyGEO!
Heading up to PN as part of the broken biscuits crew. Bruzie had this found as we pulled up in my car.
25 April 2023 12:18 Number 12572 for me. TFTC JoeyGE0 for placing this cache for us to find.

#12,822. The team from Wellington came up to attend the ANZAC day event. After it was over we took on a host of local caches to boost the April find count. This was one of them. The two cars pulled up and by the time I was out of the car Bruzie had this one in the hand. It was signed as "Broken Biscuits," our tag name for the day as we were driving around in two cars (I had to ask as well - think Anzac biscuits spilt in two). Anyway the cache was replaced as found and it was on to the next one. Thanks JoeyGEO for hiding it here.
Needed about 60 caches today to make the 100 for April, so went out for a day with BFG, Denomynator, bruzie, GSEL and Infoferret. Managed about 30 only odd today with a few DNF's. Swapped cars at the end to make a few more and got back around 9:15pm after the last handful in the dark. Signed as "Broken Biscuits". Almost instant find. T4TC
The Wellington contingent of myself, barefootguru, CrystalFairy, Denominator, GSEL and InfoFerret headed up to Palmerston North today for the Calling All Troops event and other caches. Logs signed as Broken Biscuits (or some form of BBCDGI or other).
Hiding spot was obvious as we pulled up.
All good here and TFTC.

Luckly I had a special tool to access this cache, could have sat here all day and smell those roses, but things to do, tftc JoeyGE0
Found with JoeyGE0. I have now made my own account and am logging the caches I have found to keep my account up to date. This is a real account. I placed the cache back as found, TFTC thanks JoeyGE0 putting this Traditional cache out!

Awesome spot. Took the dog for a walk and she was looking with me. Was a great find for both of us. Thank you.
Out doing a few chores with Junior and decided to swing by and collect this one. I am a Christian, and life has meaning and purpose when it is built on the Rock - Christ Jesus. Tftc.
Nice day to be wandering the quiet streets on our way to catch up with a friend for a coffee on Waitangi Day. Cache all dry, signed and replaced as found.
With watcache and xsaveya yesterday and as xsaveya said in his log we stumbled upon this one.

Quick find on way home from Avatar2, after failing to find a final for a mystery. Tftc.
Out with Popmac and a wee womble, who made the find on this cache. Thanks for the cache.
Got to GZ and found a good hiding place for a boring cache. Sadly only retrieved a long stick but no cache. Note recent maintenance so will have to give it some more thought!
Well I did think about it and turns out I was using the original coordinates. The pit falls of using old downloading lists. So with the changed coordinates and a cache that’s very close to work, I was able to make a straight forward find. Probably the quickest that I have ever changed a sad face into a smiley.
Came with Oliver to maintain this cache and also see if it was muggled. The cache was still in its spot ready to be found!
Oliver was originally using this account hiding loads of caches but now he has made his own account and will be hiding and finding on that account.

Great cache theme and a quick find with the updated coords and the hints. A good selection of hosts here but one was way more obviously bored
Thanks for the cache and the life advice deserves a favourite

On such a lovely day with sun and no wind etc , and NO pupils to get home for, it was perfect time to go bike riding and hopefully find a few of the newer caches on a day that i needed a couple more caches . so i set off after lunch and soon had this one in hand being the closest to home also so it was quickly located, signed and then replaced as found . I took nothing and left nothing and i was soon on to the next one which i had attempted previously with no luck .
Thank you for this new cache .

This cache was published the day I last visited Palmy, albeit a few hours later. This was (I think) the site of my only unfound Palmy cache when I moved away 8 years ago, nice and easy find today. Cheers JoeyGEO.
An upsetting week with the loss of one of the stalwarts of the UK side of the family passing away on Thursday morning, UK time. A weekend of reflection, respect and a few chances to get out into the great NZ outdoors to clear the head was gratefully accepted. Saturday I had to head into Palmy to buy a new funeral suit (my old one had 'shrunk' somehow), and catch up with my son and a walk alongside the Manawatu river whilst remembering 'Grandad'. Sunday entailed a trip up to Rangiwahia hut with my daughter who had travelled down from Auckland.
Thanks to all CO s for their hides.

Today's little geocaching expedition was to two caches kind of linked by placement, one at a church, the other at the cemetery.
We made sure we got to this one while it was relatively quiet before all the end of the school day traffic began. It's good on this fairly busy street that the cache is a little away from the road and it is a very quick, straightforward find too. So there were no problems with this one and it was soon back in its place. TFTC JoeyGE0

Too slow by 30mins! Oh well I only needed one today so it was really good for me this cache came live. Although I’m not supposed to be driving with my ‘new’ eye, I jumped in the car and made the slow dash for 3TF.
Took longer than it should've as I found the coords 13m out, and I was basically ignoring the obvious.
*"...thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build..."* a geocache. ?? TFTC.

Joint {FTF} with Etherlord Clan at 11:08am, and a First Day Find
It's been a long week, in spite of being a short week, and I came up to Palmy yesterday evening to spend some well needed chill time with friends. This morning some of the smaller members of the Etherclan plus additional an Klingon wanted to go to a park to play. Whilst en-route to Memorial Park, we got notification of a new cache. Only 2km away, let's go!
Arriving at GZ, I immediately headed to where my Phone took me, whilst Etherlord had paid more attention to his surroundings. Suffice to say he made the find whilst I was still about 14m away. A curious piece of rock to have placed there. I wonder what it's history is?
Anyway, I see (as I'm logging on Sunday) that the co-ords have now been updated so hopefully that won't confuse anyone. Thanks for placing this cache and making my Saturday morning a bit more interesting.

I must have missed this listing by minutes as I was at Skoglund park before midday, another visit necessary then
