Someone didnt cover it up . I covered it up for the next people tho. Have fun and TYFTGC
Found. Was a bit sad to see the sign on the gate saying its an environmentally sensitive area and dog to be kept on leashes only to have 6 bags of dog poo within a 5m radius of that sign.
Found it- was a bit of a tricky oneLook at the past comments to help- helped my partner and I with the find.
I first searched for this one in the dark, almost a year ago, without success. Having a few days on the peninsula, I returned after a visit to Point Nepean. My device had me further from the track than last time, and the container was partly exposed, making it an easier find. I reset with some more natural camouflage. TFTC Beckgiz
The hunt took me a while as I was making an error in my assumptions about accessibility. Lesson learned and finally found the cache after widening the search radius. Clouds made GPS swing about which wasn't helping me either. Anyway, log signed with much relief and I can score another hidden month off my grid TFTC TNSL
Found with Bogonghazy whilst staying at Rye for the week. Thanks for placing the geocache
Found with LittleBoss2 on our week in Rye. Just finished a swim and gym session at the Yawa, so it's time to cache. Quick find, great coords, thanks for placing
Found it out in the open so replaced with a bit more cover. Log is in good condition. Tftc

Enjoying a few days down in Rosebud, so I took the opportunity to search out some caches.
A good few minutes of searching by head torch light here, but I was unable to locate the hide this time.

We were heading towards Pakenham to pick up my brother JTreeTrack2 from the station and take him home to Ballarat, and we had several hours up our sleeves to kill.
We are slowly making the way to finding caches in all 360 degrees from home, and this cache is conveniently located in one of those degrees.
So after the ferry trip across from Queenscliff, we made our way to this cache and with geodog Teeny Treek we wandered in to find this cache.
A lovely spot to walk the dog, and she had a ball, and I found the cache.
Thank you for this Traditional cache Beckgiz & Gnome5580

Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today. Did a couple of circles before this one was spotted.
Thanks Beckgiz for the cache.

GPS was playing nice today! Zoned in on it very quickly and signed log. A lovely quiet reserve and no muggles in sight.
My friends and I found it after almost giving up such a fun cache. Very hard to find. Super enjoyable.

This certainty took a bit of searching. So many spots and gps was just not settling on a spot.
Suddenly the sun shone on what I was looking for.
It was a bit exposed so that really helped.
Log signed and all back safe again.
Thankyou

Out for a drive down on the peninsular today and decided to stop off for a few caches on the way, albeit the weather not being too pleasant
This was a neat hide which took a few minutes to locate
All in good condition
Many thanx to Beckgiz & Gnome5580 for another in the series

While staying at Capel sound it was a great chance to check out another one of these dog series. Nice find here. Cache in excellent condition. Thanks for the series Beckgiz&Gnome5580
Found it , second time here, not sure how I missed it the first time. Signed and returned without any problems. Tftc
I have enjoyed working through the “A dogs tail” series.. I still have a few more to find but I’m working on it. When I arrived at GZ I thought I would never find the cache.. so many possible hiding places but thanks to excellent coords, the cache was in hand very quickly. Thanks Beckgiz & Gnome5580 for placing the cache
Very familiar with this little Reserve. I have had a few walks here. Love the Moonahs, birdlife and there is even rumoured to be a natural spring somewhere in it. Anyway a had a bit of a break from geocaching after catching covid. Just getting my caching groove back so I thought to myself I won't look at the clue I will try and find it without a clue. I did . Thanks so much for the cache and series. So many in it now will keep me going for awhile
I wanted to finish up the Ice Cream Adlab, so headed down this way to do that, along with some other Adlabs and trads. I wandered around for a while until I saw the obvious hide. This was my first "A Dogs Tail" cache, ever.
Many thanks to Beckgiz & Gnome5580 for the cache.

Found last night but my phone went flat. Luckily I got to the general area before it did. I nearly had to stop searching and then I found. I was hoping my walk from Rye wasn't going to be wasted.
On our way to the beach and we were nearly ready to leave then voila, a French cache. Plastic zip lock bag is ripped but everyrhing is still dry. Giddy up

Caches in this series seem to multiply while you're not looking, so while I was out this way, I thought that I had better find a few more to try and keep on top of them.

Took a couple of minutes, but the coords were really good and I managed to spot it. I felt I was rather off the beaten track at this one!

We have been coming to Rye for many years now. We used to enjoy finding the occasional bay trail cache, but since most of them were archived there has been a significant lack of caches around. Either last year or the year before we found a dog’s tail number 6. At that time I’m fairly sure there were only six in the series. It was great then to arrive at Rye this time and see A dog’s tail 35 and within walking distance .
This morning, with the weather a lot cooler, we took our geodog for a walk here. Despite the poor reviews from other cachers and the co, we had a nice time here and did a lap of the reserve before walking home.
It was Buddy’s second cache since acquiring his new trackable (HQJYHJ if anyone wants to say hello to him) and he thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thanks for all the new caches around Beckgiz and Gnome5580.

Easy find, close to home. I don't think our dog would think much of this reserve. We give it one paw, there are lots of burrs here ATM
Back down the Peninsula for the festive break. Out for an early morning cycle and to pick up a few unfound. In the low light this one took a little searching with many options available. However with persistence I soon found the cache in its place. Log and cache all good. Thanks for placing this cache B&G #1801
We were in the area on some other business and dropped by this reserve to sign the log and find another parkland on the peninsula that we didn't know existed.
The cache was found safely tucked in there.
Thanks Beckgiz & Gnome5580 for yet another dog tail.
Chiefton!!!

Picked this one up today on what could be described as both an FTF run and a clean up of the Mornington Peninsula. Having so little to finish on the peninsula these days it makes it quite annoying when only one pops up down this way. So all in all was a quick and easy find.
Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.

Another one that was popping up close to home while I was away. I saved it for today.
We were dropping off friends nearby and drove past this reserve. "Anyone up for an adventure?" Of course they were.
We spread out a bit and started searching. I was like always too concerned with details in the description, trying to match my location with coords and pondering the (misleading!) hint, instead of just searching. So way quicker than I would have been on my own came the "found it!" Call.
All is well at GZ. Signed, replaced.
Then we went exploring and I really liked the reserve! Cool paths and winding tracks, up, down, around the place. That was awesome! We never knew this was here and we'll definitely come back!
Thanks Beckgiz and Gnome5580 for sharing.

On my way walking into Rye when I noticed this one. Fortunately no one around so was able to look around and find it ok. TFTC
I looked in so many trees as my phone had the wanders. All to no avail. Another circuit. Same frustrating result. About to give up when I spotted that sneaky hide. What relief. TFTC Beckgiz & Gnome5580
