That's a shame. This could have been moved further up the hill away from the houses.
Wow, this is really a shame that it had to be archived. These y2k caches are rare gems. I wonder if it could be moved a bit to appease the neighbors and still keep it going?
Found! 5/23/2021. Was near the area and just had to make the detour out to grab this oldie. Walked across the dry grass to near GZ, when I heard someone shout out "it's no longer here". It was the nearby neighbor in their backyard. They are not pleased with the cache being here (granted it is not on their property, it is indeed literately right near their back fence). Apparently a number of the neighbors have complained and have tried to contact GroundSpeak to have this one removed and they personally have psychically done so a couple times now. Doesn't look like the CO is active and hasn't been in a long time. This one really needs to be moved up the hill and away from the houses, hopefully to keep this classic cache alive and well.
The cache itself is indeed there and I was able to locate and sign, without telling the neighbor . I would advise any future cachers to be extremely cautious here to not upset the neighbors and be extremely stealthy with the cache before they remove it again.

In town for work and decided to take advantage of the great weather to finally check off a few Jasmer caches. Beautiful day for a little adventure. Approached this one from the creek side at first but stopped dead in my tracks when I saw a few wasps and heard the sound of a very large nest. Backed out slowly and went down around the side and across the grassy area to GZ. Found the cache about 50 feet away nice and safe. It’s too bad that it’s just a micro but sometimes it’s not always about the cache. The adventure tends to be the real award..
Thanks and greetings from Canada
NOTE TO FUTURE CACHERS. Avoid using the dry river bed due to a large wasp/hornets nest.
