Love the hide- great camp- quickly found and another river walk cache completed. TFTC
Up here for work and saw a new to me trail of caches to do on my evening walk. Having to rely on my phone as the trusty garman is at home. Tricky, the hint had me thinking of a different type of hide and found snails and other unpleasantaries before reading logs and trying again. Got it! TFTC
Visiting from Ohio, USA and came out this way for the Hobbiton tour. After that I headed slowly back to Auckland for some more caches, of which this was not one. No luck but I did meet some nice cows.
No luck here after spending quite a bit of time searching through the weeds and bits of rubbish here.
The wasp nests right at gz didn't help

Took a few minutes but avoided the paper wasps and the dog and found this cleverly camouflaged cache. TFTC.
Decided today was a good day to go find some geocaches since we needed to explore more of our local area.
Fortunately today wasn't as hot as previous days. We took 2 cars and parked one at each end which ended up being a good thing with the micro cacher in tow.
We parked one car on Riverview Rd and headed down the walkway to this one first. Cache didn't take too long to spot with its interesting camo applied. All good here, TFTC!

We had quite a welcome from the resident K9, but he gave up and wandered away after alerting the neighbourhood. Found and signed. TFTC!
This was an interesting cache. Had me looking around a little bit then I saw it. Nicely done. Tftc
The sun was beating down so it was a hot walk to here so we’re grateful the cache didn’t take too long to find
Headed out along this stunning walkway with Supernannny on a beautiful and sunny morning. We walked along the river towards Morrinsville, and then walked back through Morrinsville to where we parked the car.
This cache was not quite what we expected, but SN was on to the hint and soon had this cache in hand. TFTC

We really enjoyed the walk along here today .
Many thanks Wobbie!
You are certainly putting Morrinsville on the Geocaching map as a Destination!
Took a second look and there it was !

This one was a bit harder to find because of the fence and prickly plant. Just spotted it and carefully pulled it out for a closer look. Hopefully I don’t react to the plants and get itchy as go. TFTC
Well sort of magnetic but by the GZ all good
Hamilton - Morrinsville road trip on wet Sunday.
I`m logging this cache as my 9910 find.

Found by Blenheim Bear, the last one on the river series for now. All good but privet pollen is an issue for me. Cache is safe and sound, clever hide. TFTC BB

This one gave me the most grief in the find, in the end I had to resort to a PAF after which it was soon located, it is semi magnetic but as per a few people's comments I was looking in the wrong spots, nice devious hide when you have your mind set in how it should be hidden

Went for a short walk with a local geocacher (actually my sister) who had picked this one up previously. However had to locate this without her assistance! Took a few moments to spot it. As others have indicated, the hint seems a little misleading (didn’t seem to be accurate), leading to searching in the wrong place. Anyway we got there just as the rain started coming down heavily. Had to take shelter under nearby trees before it cleared. #5605. TFTC.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… Usually, Labour Weekend is one of our favourite times to cache. But this time, things are different. (Shock… Horror!) We have other non-caching activities in store for this weekend. We planned this little night raid of the Waikato just to keep ourselves in touch…
We did our homework for this trail, knowing that timing would be the main factor. If we wanted to collect all of the caches, then the best place to begin would be to rip out the middle first… We stared into the murky depths of the river several times en route to this cache. It was the most constant view as we passed along several metres of neighbourhood fenceline. A dog welcomed us with barking at ground zone, but it didn’t persist (Good dog)! This hide was more of a challenge to locate on account of the hint, but we soon had a handle on it. Thanks Wobbie and TFTC.

I began the search looking for the invisible force device...sadly The magnetic attraction has gone..lucky the co ords were sharp as and the log was soon signed & returned to its container...thanks wobbie a great we trail there were a stack of fish below the cache. Coy carp I believe umm
We headed to gz and soon found the "demagnetised" cache. Then wandered over to the Piako River. My eyes boggled when I saw a huge number of Koi Carp all gathered around a small area at a drain entrance. For a species that DOC etc are trying to eradicate I was astounded at the number in an area easily accessible.
Thanks for bringing us along this great trail Wobbie.

We found this one a little more difficult than the previous two in the series but this was mostly because we made an assumption as to where it would be, which turned out to be wrong.
But once we rethought the situation and tried another spot we soon located the nicely placed cache.
We were a little confused at first when we found a blank log until we discovered the CO had replaced it yesterday.
Another great cache in the series enhancing an already wonderful walk along this beautiful trail.
On to the next one.

Found easy enough but sadly it’s full of water and there’s holes in the bag and log book is soaked . Couldn’t write on it
Good opportunity to get out here today so I took it although there was a little bit of drizzle - but that kept the muggles away! NIce quick find here - great spot, TFTC
Out for a drive with Boges to grab a few caches. 1st time along this track. Enjoyed the walk and seeing the place from a different angle.
Took awhile to spot this one but got there in the end. Thank you for the placement.

Got up to see these new caches had been published not long before. Thinking I wonder if the local #cacher was in town. Headed out in anticipation. I started at number #5 of the series. Lovely morning for a walk. Undulating terrain. Nice scenery. Most of the caches were easy to find except #2 had me scratching my head for 5 mins or so. All in all a nice new series. TFTC [FTF]422
