No answer, no cache, so archived it is.

Quite a few of us have tried to find this one with no luck. Is it possible to have it checked or disabled?

28-May-06
I've emailed the cache owner, so he has four weeks to contact me with a plan of action or we'll assume that this one's gone and will be archived.
Ian, theUMP.

05-Feb-06
3 of us went back again today in the daylight. Spent another 30 mins, turning over rocks and looking in bushes.
Nothing around either of the Waypoints.
S 34° 47.534 E 138° 40.464 was no where near the wall according to my GPS.

We'll leave this for someone else to try and find.

Cheers from the Barramundi's

Had a look at where Storm Chasers last placed it, then the original location, with no luck, the sun had just set. GPS brought us to within 1 metre, after 30 minutes, and it not being found since June 05 we gave up for the night. Come back another time. It was obvious that other people had been in the area by the trampled grass.

Cheers from the Barramundi's

Didnt read clues so when couldnt find it did the phone a friend, and still couldnt find it. Might wait for winter. Was a bit tricky. Interesting idea though

Looked for this with Snowone and got extremely frustrated.

Hope that helps out a little. Found fairly easily with #1 son tagging along. Moved to new location. Was going to drop off TB but left in car.

05-Apr-05
Found after taking the high path. Needed the clues to get me there though as the GPSr looses a few satelites here.
TNLNSL Next place is near to a big slab of rock.

Visited original location today and searched for a while before I read the logs and realised it had moved a lot! As it happened I had to pass that way on my way home & know the area quite well as I have been planning a couple of caches in there already! So picked it up. I am returning to its original area in a couple of days so will hide it back in its intended gully & post co-ords asap. TNLN. Cheers

Returned 30/3/05 new co-ordinates posted above.
Clues: Look for a magnetic attraction. Its low.

Well Here we go, Here's the chance to find a cache and place a new one this is a great location and there are plenty of places to hide a cache, I have made the initial find easy as i have moved it quite a way. Take the time to have a look around, and also hang around you might see other,s just hanging around too. Keep the Geo Kiddies on a tight lead. they might get addited to the location and want to come back.

Found it, Well after i loooked at the logs and realised it had moved. So that means it will move again, New location TBA, tomorrow 10th Mar. Its not going toooo far, i was thinking of taking it out of state, but thought that would not be very fair ! you didnt say how far we couldnt more the cache, I will be keeping in line with the theme of the cache and the location in mind is perfect even the description of the origional location fits, pitty the coords will be out. Its a great location and there are no caches in the area either so its a perfect opertuninty for the finder to place a new cache. Stay tuned.

2nd time round with success. It has moved a long way since the first time we attempted this one. The first time we had to abort after it started raining heavily and the ground become very slippery.

Didn't move it as we couldn't get a good sat lock with all the cloud cover.

TNLNSL.

Thanks Simo.

Found with CuteKitty

Did not move the cache as i was pushed for time to get to brief for work. So it is still at the last known co-ords.

A beautiful day for a walk with the bees. I saw two nests on my way to the PREVIOUS location of the cache. THE CACHE HAS MOVED AGAIN just like the instructions instruct. Don't think there's any bees now.

I took the TB but otherwise TNLN.

Nice easy find this time. I bet the workmen wondered what I was doing changing out of my suit and tie on a Sunday Big Grin

Left key ring and took stickers.

Kids are weird, you take them to a cache with a play ground they get bored, you take them to this cache and they don't want leave while dad loses his hair watching them climb[?]...Anyway before they scared me to near death we found it.
Took TB H.S. Taz, 1/2 Penny & Star Stickers.
Left TB Manhunt Down Under, "Freedom" from Diabetes Pen & Stickers.

29-Sep-04
Found 13:50, after initially searching at the posted co-ordinates, we realised that this cache had been moved to a new location by Nibs (S 34° 47.570 E 138° 40.314) and from there the cache was easily found.

Took super ball and left TB HS Taz, thanks Simo.

Found easily on a nice winter’s day. I hate flopping around on unstable slopes, so I moved the cache to ground of my own choosing [^] to the co-ords shown. TNLNSL. Thanks Simo

Went to get this one while waiting for the muggles to depart Rollin' Rollin' Rollin' so I could return the cache to it's hiding spot. No luck at the GZ in the GPS, and there were signs the cliff had collapsed in the recent rains as they were still covered in mud. A phone call to a local friend who I thought might have done it gave me the updated coordinates where it was easily found. Probably just as well it had moved. TNLN and left it where it was. Thanks Simo.

Magnificent views of the sun setting over the gulf from the hill top. We had a search for this one and even phoned a friend but unfortunately we had to give up this time as it was getting to dark to see. We will return....

Have just read all the logs and noticed the updated coordinates! I should have read/printed all the pages!! that will teach me!

Thanks Simo

[Found this one less than 15m from where we first found it Big Grin Had to take the low road as Teen Wakka's b/f is wary of heights despite being inordinately tall Razz.

Took pen, kangaroo (mini Wakka is building a collection of these, it seems Smile), tic tacs and keyring. Left glittery glue, hair clips, stickers and sewing kit.

New terrain is somewhat precipitous but you won't need any equipment - I wouldn't expect any real difficulty if you are a fan of scrambling around slopes.]

Thought a new face might like a look at this cache - size doesn't matter anyway, right? Twisted

26-Jun-04
Victor went hunting for this one last weekend on his own and came up empty handed. We went with him today as reinforcements and found with ease. Don't you just hate that!Twisted
Took nothing and left tic tacs.
Thanks for the nice walk Simo. The Geopup had a ball (not literally).
Cheers R4R

Absolutely loved this one. Enjoyed the walk and views. Crossed over the top of cliff face and followed track down. Good search. Found in rocks. Great location cache well protected so I didnt relocate it. There are a lot of houses overlooking this cache. Look up before taking it out rather that around. Added small Koala and took mobile.
Cheers

Found by Skippy. @ about 12:30 pm . I was looking for ages then I used a lifeline and rang a friend { pandaabear } She was no help @ all. And just as I got off the phone to her , I checked the rock rock that I was standing on and there it was. Took Disco mirror ball for my truck and Left Kangaroo keyring. Thanks Simo

The GPSr had us going round in circles for this cache. We also had little legs that stopped working as soon as the rambling and climbing on rocks was finished and the walking back bit had begun. We too left the cache in the same position as we were losing light fast. Thanks Smile

Found at 14:10.
Carina found it. Chris was pesimistic about finding it, and nearly gave up. Jypsi loved exploring off head lead (sniff sniff).
Thanks Simo,
Took $1, left wind-spiral decoration.

Only missed the Unicyclers by an hour or so! TNLN.

Nice cliff! Hunted around the rocks for a little while and found it eventually. Lucky it wasn't a hot day as the grass looked like it could harbour quite a few snakes. Moved the cache a bit to new co-ordinates.

Found it at the posted co-ords after a lot of searching. Actually when I did find it, it was quite exposed so I built a rocky cave for it which will not get washed away like the previous covering looked to have done. Its still in the same spot. I think you could raise the difficulty level up a star. I swapped the micro car for a dinosaur. I have got a couple of cars now.I think I'll start a collection.
Thanks Simo, terrific cache.

Eventually found at 1100. First drove straight into Boral visitor's carpark, before deciding it shouldn't be there, then tried a residential area. A likely stopping spot had 'do not park' signs and the dreaded yellow line on the road, so I went and visited Stone Me instead. A call to the Maccamob hintline confirmed I had been in the right area, so I gave it another go.

First I had to change the co-ordinates. The automatic download onto my GPS used Simo's original co-ordinates, it was lucky I had the new ones from when Smurf was here (assuming the last visitors hadn't changed it). As I was heading off I got another maccamob alert giving me similar co-ords from Freddo. Decided to use the most recent co-ords and made my way down the path. Lots of grasshoppers with every step!

Made it to the rockface and proceeded to get many scratches as I scrambled along the wall. Noticed a likely looking area and caught a flash of mirror ball (thanks Smurf!). Was surprised someone had left a packet of matches in a cache - didn't think that was a good idea in such weather conditions! Took them and left a micro car.

Thanks Simo - I left the container in the same spot.

Found it finally after a lot of searching and some clues from the last two contestants.

The new location is exactly the same location. The hiding place looked pretty good, down there between the rocks. My unit gave the location presented. About 12m from Slider.

Choose your co-ords and have a try. Somebody must be right.

And what were those people in the air conditioned houses on the top of the hill laughing at on this very muggy afternoon!!

Spent an hour under and over the rock face. No cigar though. Two bee hives yes. Hmm, we will return.

28-Dec-02
Found after work on Saturday after a lot of searching and the batteries in the GPS went flat. Eventually found - took bubble blower and left $2 coin.

01-Dec-02
Found on the way home after attending the SA Geocachers Car Rally today. Moved the cache a little further away from the bees - they were fairly quiet this late in the day, but they might still get upset with people poking around near their home!

Took a plastic Chicken Run character, and left a mirror ball. New co-ordinates are S 34 47.531 and E 138 40.453.

Thanks Simo!

[Found by Mary & David at 1010. Well quarry me, two caches for the price of one is good value. Good views on the way in. Lots of magpies. Still very humid but at least no rain. Easy find. Took clamp, left christmas brooch. Relocated the cache to a new rocky home at S 34 47.537, E 138 40.467 ] Hint: Think Popeye's girlfriend. [The cache container has been somewhat crushed by the stones, and now doesn't seal very well. Recommend hiding in such a way that no stones rest directly on the cache. Thanks to Simo for a great idea.]

Apon arrving on the scene I started having flash backs to Liz and Bruces infamous E13 Quarry cache at the Clare Caching Capers Weekend.
I saw some rocks that didn't quite fit in with the surrounding ones, I just had to get to them to check it out. Bingo with only a little bit of scuttling around. (224)
Going by the name of the cache I wasn't sure if I was allowed to move it away from the rock face so only moved it 28m to the east. Clue onfr lbhe qvrg ba byvrf.

There are no particular rules about relocating the cache. Basically anywhere in the reserve. Further west along the track there are 2 other rock faces that might offer some hiding opportunities.
