RG72 had a big brothers, big sisters event on near lower Moutere, so my job was to drop them off there and make myself scarce for a couple of hours or so.So I duly did that, and headed into Motueka for this cache. It was a nice walk in pleasant conditions, and a little more compact than I thought it would be. There were about 6 or 8 workers weed-whacking through here so I did skip some waypoints and come back but that was all good.Cache found with no issues at a place I thought it might be. Or at least I wondered why it was not included in the waypoints as it was significant enough.TFTC Sidewaze, all good here.
Perhaps not the smartest day to do this multi - very hot in and around the labyrinth of tracks gathering the required information. All good at the final, signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks Sidewaze for another cache.
I was out caching with Marchwood today. "Watch out for the ants!' Too late, I already had dozens of them climbing up my arm before I even got near the cache. TFTC.
It was a stunning afternoon and as I was reasonably close i decided to continue on and complete this multi. I thoroughly enjoyed my walk around - these tracks are quite a rabbit warren but it all worked out perfectly. A great way to walk off some of that delicious lunch after the Giff event. TFTC # 20,600
On our way to Golden Bay today and being a Multi dot day we called in here for a walk. It did my head in not doing the waypoints in order but it all worked out fairly efficiently. I enjoyed the walk very much with Ms M and we particularly liked all the flowering manukas. Got the numbers worked out and found a good spot for the final. The ants were busy running along the handrails. The prize was discovered once Id got down on my knees.TFTC
We decided to head to Motueka today for a long overdue visit and of course some geocaching was also a priority so off we went.
We've wandered various parts of this area in the past, usually looking for those elusive caches and today was no exception visiting the 6 waypoints to get the number required to find the final. No problems finding a log to sign.
Thank you Sidewaze.

With things to attend to in Mot we took the opportunity at heart and compiled a short list of caches.
A nice mix of puzzle, trad and multi caches was the result. It must have been the spring in the air that brought eveybody out because traffic was heavy for no apparent reason on a week day.
Funnily enough because everybody seemed to be busy travelling somewhere we had no trouble with muggles.
The area has slowly been transformed into a real treasure. The spring weather really lent itself for a slow walk. I had no trouble getting the staple question right. Seeing that stuff brings the farmer out of me again The route we took had us back track a bit when we assembled the coords but it was a pleasure.
Thank you Sidewaze

We had a wander and then did some addition. Oh dear... and we didn't have much power left in the phone. Looked at our numbers and couldn't identify the error so opted for PAF. Ahhh... so that instruction meant something different from our interpretation. We were close enough to GZ to get there with the phone, having also checked the way back to the car as well. A gentl wander with us both taking care of legs - well a hip and an Achilles.
Thanks.
Thanks.
A nice walk just on dark, lots of bird life singing. Nice easy find at final. Thanks for placing Sidewaze

Answer for D is now included as there seems to be some confusion about which is the relevant post. You should be able to reach under for the cache and not get down, wet or dirty.
I started this multi a few weeks ago after work, it's one of my regular after work walks when working from home, so I was confident I could gather the information needed quickly. Unfortunately, I got away from work a little later than I wanted so once I had the final coords it was pretty dark. No matter I had my trusty torch, a lengthy search potentially in the incorrect location based on the hint, and sadly no luck as my torch did not provide enough light to spy the cache. Back home, a wee check of the coordinates identified an error in my transcribing in the dark of the answers. Two weeks later, I made sure there was going to be sufficient light and headed directly to the GZ, I was hopeful the hide would be in an area that did not require me to get my pants dirty but sadly that was not the case. No worries though, who cares about some dirty pants when you have another smilie. Thanks Sidewaze for a fun multi and a couple of enjoyable afterwork explores.
Found on this beautiful day with Ulmuslynx, we thought we had the right coords. [We had counted to 28. ] The coords led us to a private property. Notified C/O and asked her if we had the right coords. We missed on two.
Managed to obtain the coords, and it wasn't long before we had the cache in our hands.
Thank you, Sidewaze, for the multi and the cache

Found w no.13 on a sunny day after a good wander round. Not so quiet here in places as some workers doing community service had weedeaters etc tidying up parts of this. Got two co-ords wrong so needed help from co. Spent more time here than needed to! All good at gz. Tftc and multi
Headed out for a short walk and a cache or two before the rain came in again. Unfortunately we didn't beat the rain and ended up wet so we can blame that on the fact that we didn't get the correct co-ords the first circuit of the walkway.
Anyway, we parked the car and headed off along the track to the first waypoint. Just as we arrived it started spitting to rain. We read the question and both came up with different and multiple answers. Made a note of them and headed off quickly to do the remaining waypoints, hoping not to get too wet. Some were simple and could not be misinterpreted, while another we got wrong probably due to the rain. Raced back to the car and after drying ourselves off as well as we could we plugged in the final co-ords. That can't be right, our check sum agrees. Looked at our answers against the questions, only one we didn't agree on. Even drove round to the entrance to the co-ords but it still looked wrong. It finally stopped raining so we headed back to the track and retraced our steps again. Still didn't agree on the interpretation of one questions (Andy did end up being right) so headed on to all the other's again. Spotted one other that we had gotten wrong and that gave us the right answer for the queried one. Final looks good on the map so off we went and after a short search cache was in hand. Log signed and it was back to the car, home and into some dry clothes. Next time we will take coats with us. tftc

It's been a year since we were last in Motueka. While staying in the NZMCA Park nearby in our motorhome noticed a new cache on the walkway.
Geopup Finn and I went looking for the information to solve the puzzle. We found all the clues and did the sums then I went to locate the cache so he didn't give away our position. No luck.
A quick checkin with the CO to confirm my coordinates and I returned for a quick find.
Thanks for your help and for hiding the cache Sidewaze.

We had been in Golden Bay for the long weekend, at two o'clock this morning we were woken with absolutely torrential rain.
We discussed the weather and the fact that Takaka tends to flood and the hill tends to slip we decided to get up and try to get back over the hill so that we could both go to work on Tuesday and not get stuck in Golden Bay.
We traveled as far as Motueka and parked up at just after 3am and climbed back into bed and went to sleep.
We decided to go and do the adventure lab cache that walks around the estuary when we realised that this multi was newly published and had not been found.
We had plenty of time so we did the ad lab and this multi at the same time. What a warren of tracks, thank goodness for the maps on our phone as we weaved our way around the park.
As with all multis it pays us to read the questions properly, luckily our mistake was only about 20m away from where we needed to be.
The cache was found and we were a little surprised that the log was blank, so a rather unexpected {FTF}.
Thanks for showing us around this park (we have really only been to the outside of it before today) and thank you for the smiley
