A pleasant Autumn day and Im trying my luck at finding a few smilies as I head towards Augusta. Very happy to say that this is one of them .Some logs signed as N2OThis is my 12500 find Thankyou familysteinerfor placing and maintaining this cache.
To our surprise hubs found this by mistake when clearing up our verge (owner of the farm with the Rusty Jeep)! Weve geo cached all around the world so it was so appropriate to find one right outside our home! Dont let the location stump you!
A couple of options for the cache as I was walking up and spotted the container the first place I looked. Thanks familysteiner for placing Holden Wrecks & Boiling Diesels for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 13:57 on 5/10/2023.This is find number 7737 for me.
A beaut day along the old Bunbury road. Caching along the way and this one was one of them. A nice quick find here. Thanks for the hide here familysteiner.
Caching our way down the Old Bunbury Road we stopped for this one which turned out to be a nice quick park and grab. We signed your log as we admired the relic. Your cache was returned to its hidey hole. TFTC familysteiner.
Taurus Six and I are having an extra long weekend by tacking Friday on to make it a four day break. The weather is looking beautiful it is almost verging on summer rather than spring. Our general plan is to spend time in the York area , however to get there on day 1 we are taking a meandering route to clear some patches of geocaches along the way. The main route today is via the Old Bunbury Road to Pinjarra then up the South West Highway to Armadale , then along the Brookton Highway to Flint , then taking the back roads before joining the great Southern Highway to York. The flowers are out and looking beautiful the birds are out and in full song and all in all a great day for geocaching .This is our sixth cache find of the day, along this peaceful back road. However saying that there is rather a lot of traffic. Nice old wreck as a land mark. The grass is getting a bit long now and its feeling a bit snakey, however cache soon located , logged and replaced. Thanks for the cache family Steiner .
Hi there familysteiner - time to hunt for more local caches. This time the hunt around and about Pinjarra and surrounds and many of these are excellent hides and deserve a Favourite point (so they're getting one). We found this cache at 0158pm after a short search - and the container and log are as noted in the Fieldnotes below. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to familysteiner for this cache - the 16th of 28 finds for the day.
FieldNotes: The cache and log were both found in good condition.

As I came past here yesterday, I was thinking about this truck and took a couple of pictures of it to show my dad. Hence I deleted them before I showed him. I was able to see it on Google maps and just asked him what it is. I'm happy to share that it's a 1960's - 1970's Jeep. I have a Jeep so was chuffed to hear that and very happy to share the information. I'm happy to have made a 'Holden' find here anyway as my first car was a 1969 Holden Kingswood that I was actually brought home from hospital as a baby, in 1976. I had that Kingswood as my car from when I was 18-32. My Jeep is my 2nd car and have had it for 14 years now. Thanks again Familysteiner for placing a cache at this spot
Out caching on a beautiful sunny day.
Found this one along the way.

Found this while out on a maintenance run and placing more caches to be found. Thanks for the hide here and breaking up my day
WOW! FTF @ 10:15am. I saw this published last night and expected it to be gone by now. I had planned a finding outing yesterday afternoon whilst watching the grand final and this was route was on my list. No it’s not a Holden relic it’s an old truck but great name and deserving of a hide. Thanks
