Austria is hunting for caches in Australia. Thank you for placing and maintaining these caches. I had a lot of fun, thank you for that too
Found at 12:38 PM GAFF1. Yep - we saw the water and then started to look for the cache which had only a couple of options and selected the second one and bingo - found it right there. Now that was a change because usually when we see a cache with a lowly 1.0/1.0 we look at each other and say "We are going to be in trouble here aren't we!" And I see that Liz and Bruce who have a massive amount of experience would be saying the same thing - and prove the theory Thanks to Cache_Ghost
Gladstone day 2. Gladstone we are camped at the showgroundsHeaded into the harbour area to do a couple of AL & a few caches.A lovely area here, decided to replace the missing cache, contacted the CO.Thanks Cache_Ghost for hiding this cache.
Thank you Found this today then had shit luck right after I didn't have a pen or anything and the box was broken. So I'll write in it tomorrow and replace the box and put back
I have seen one hidden like this before so it was very easy to find. The cache container is broken and I had nothing to replace it with, but for now all contents are dry.Beautiful views. thank you for bringing me here.TFTC
TFTC and a nice quick find after having morning tea at Barney Point Park. Im visiting from the Hunter Valley in NSW
I dont have many 1/1s ! My experienced geocaching friend told me itll ruin my average! Thanks for placing at such a beautiful location!
First cache I've looked for and glad I managed to find it, not too difficult but I nearly gave up as I was looking at the wrong side. Great view though
Took a few minutes to search around. Third cache find in Gladstone, was a bit of a hairy search.
Found, nice and easy, does need replacing as its cracked and the paper was wet
Headed over to Gladstone with Drennostar & suzib1972 for something to do on the long weekend. Such a lovely park here! Following the hints we had a look in the place we suspected and found....oh, surely not a toad-shaped gc?! What will we find next! Oh, nope, it hopped away Then Drennostar spotted the cache further along. Added a gnome to protect the cache from any local amphibians. TFTC (and inadvertently the laughs!)
Good cache at a night time nice and quiet with a view of thr ocean me + friend left a little trinket.
Looks like the garden had been re done, I don't know if it's inxtha garden or not, but if it is be careful of the eastern brown snake
Being a local, I guess I should collect some smiley's in the area. I haven't played earnestly for a few years, just the odd find here and there. There was a previous cache very close by a few years ago. CheersBundy
TFTC Cache_Ghost your cache Looking for Water that we found today as we made our way home from QOGM 2023 in Longreach.Pulled up at the camp south of the river at Calliope and after setting up headed to the Ports area. All caches found without too much difficulty.Find Count: 17142
Out and about after attending QOGM in Longreach. On our way home and while travelling stopped to do caches along the way. This was one of them. Found cache and signed log. TFTC
On the hunting trail with SeasonedBird while on a slow roundabout route to QOGM 2023 at Longreach. In the interest of keeping this cache alive and reading previous logs/DNF’s and a good search by ourselves using hints and tips from previous logs, I have replaced the container including a new log inline with the D/T rating until the CO has the opportunity to check out same. The new container is a plastic film canister. It’s a great day for caching.

For anyone making Geo plans, do yourself a favour and visit Australia’s only current Geotour at Ballarat while it lasts: https://www.geocaching.com/play/geotours/ballarat-victoria
And for anyone that can travel to Longreach, Queensland, late September 2023, Google “QOGM” which is the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster. You’ll have at least 8 or 9 days of pure geocaching fun with around 200 like minded people attending a mix of events and access to over 200 geocaches placed by the QOGM team. It’s not a Mega, it’s better.

We spent some time here having a look but quite a few muggles walking their pooches through the park so gave up.
Lovely quiet park with beautiful views. Quick easy find- great hint.
Staying in Gladstone after spending a couple of days on Curtis Island with the brumbies, curlews and kangaroos - as part of our 'north for warmer weather' trip (North East Vic to Central Qld).
Thanks to all COs who have provided caches along the way.

TFTC took some searching because my phone gps was a bit off, a nice find. Thanks
Found, but couldn't sign as there was no pen and didn't have a pen on me.. Good little spot with a view.
So camping at Awonga Dam for a few days means I can get into Gladstone and do a little caching and some shopping. There are a few particular caches in town that I saw and some fun looking hides.
While driving around town I am impressed on how Gladstone has “cleaned “itself up. Being here some years back, I thought I would never come here again, but I am very impressed with the town and the friendly people here. The new areas and the attractions around town, very nice, thank you.
All good with this cache, I signed the log and replaced the cache as found. An easy find, then I was on my way to the next. Thanks for placing this one here.

What a beautiful place this cache has been placed in. A quick sign of the log and then headed off for a walk enjoying the scenery. Thanks Cache_Ghost for placing it here.

In the area with Selva Girls and she mentioned this new cache. So we finished at the Botanical gardens and headed to GZ for a quick find and a blank logbook.
Log signed and all returned as found.
Lovely spot.

i noticed that FTF was still available on this cache, so Konie and I made our way here. Once at GZ, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. Happy for a **FTF** so far from home. We took time to admire the view here before returning the cache as found and continuing on our way. TFTC
