Logs
Found it, the log is wet but managed to add my name to it. The container probably needs replacing. I've walked through this park often on my way to the bus stop. Thank you you for a fun cache.
We are on a one week holiday road trip from Sydney to Brisbane to Sydney, with pre-booked accommodation at the Ingenia White Albatross Holiday Park in Nambucca Heads, the Big4 NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort on the Gold Coast, the Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort in Yamba, and the Big4 Leisure Tourist Park in Port Macquarie. Planning to collect some caches around our accommodation stays, and also stop-off for some targeted caches along the M1 Pacific Motorway route. Photos will be uploaded to logs after our return to home base.Today we spent most of the day relaxing at the Big4 NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort in Biggera Waters on the Gold Coast, enjoying the various swimming pools and other entertainment facilities on offer, but ducked out in the late afternoon for a few cache finds located close to the resort. This was the 2nd of 3 finds for the day (day 3), and 30th find of the holiday. This was the next cache we came to, parking the geomobile on Morala Avenue and then heading into O'connell Park, where the cache was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Unfortunately the cache is not in good shape, with only the top part of the rodent residing within his hidey hole, and we found is "tail" laying out on the ground nearby. Some TLC is needed here. Absolutely fascinated by this container lol, really threw me off. Tftc! Managed to squeeze a trackable I brought back from a recent trip to Japan into here
!!! This cache is now updated!!! So sorry for the DNFs - wanted to make sure this one would stay!! If it doesn't I'll make a new rig, but here's to happy caching! PLEASE PUT BACK CACHE AS LIKE FOUND - use TOTT around if missing cover!!DELICATE COVER: PLACE BACK PROPERLY PLEASEThank you for your time! C:
Pretty sure we found the right spot, but couldn't see it. Wondering if it's gone.
Sadly this cache was only a plastic bag with log.Found with earthlight. TFTC
Thanks my grandkids had a ball finding this one! Its a bit damaged from dampness..
Found.. safe place.. wet log now dry.. but very stuck together signed ok.. TFTC
Fairly certain we found the location but couldnt spot it. Were sure its mostly likely in the tree hole but definitely not reaching in there with all the bugs!
Found it, ants have taken over so were unable to write on it. Might need to be replaced 14/4/24
Sadly no longer in original container, only a baggie. Was looking forward to a little squeak squeak.
I was called down for a meeting at the Gold Coast I knew I had to find 3 caches for today while here as I had one to get in Warwick on this date.Took me awhile to find this one, however I did find it. The log was quite damp but I was able to open it up and signed on a damp page. Now hopefully I will get home in time to get the 4th one o need today. Thanks for putting this one out to be found.
Nice easy find, sadly the recent rains have infiltrated the log book and it was unsignable. Also looks full.
Visiting the Gold Coast with RoddyC and Hatzofff to attend a CITO and an Event then off to convert a few coloured spots into Smilies.Extreme destruction of trees etc after the recent storms. This was an easy find but both the cache and log need replacing. Log signed as best we could and replaced as found . TFTC
After an early start to the morning with two events done this morning, love my early starts. I took off and proceeded to cache around the area. Wearing high viz clothes and looking as though you are on a mission, works well when people look at you and wonder what you are up to. The recent storms had trees down in this area, so it looked as though I was doing maintenance or gathering information in the area. People just talked and left me alone. I searched around and found the cache nicely positioned as per the hint. All good with this one and with the log signed and cache replaced as found I was off to the next one in the area. Thanks for the hide.
Out in the Goldie area after a morning events.Plenty of grass, and also lots of fallen timber.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 10:49 AM on January 5, 2024. TFTC, GroceryStoreWalkin
It must be summar. The events are early morning. First the CITO then an event then off to find some unfound caches with RoddyC hatzofff and imbunda.Cache and log needs replacing.TFTCache GroceryStoreWalkin
Found, TFTC! Little adventure around the Gold Coast while we’re here on holidays today! Signed as BB and BJ ️ Cute cache idea!
Found with imprezzive, very cute, lovely spot was greeted by a little 8 legged guardian in the cache but made sure to try and not disturb him log is wet and needs replacing tftc!!! signed BB and BJ
I dont even thinks its there anymore. Some lads probably gone off and ran with it. Unless it was in that log hole I aint risking getting bit by a red back
Nice and easy find, the log book is very wet, the little bag is full of holes, but still managed to sign it
I let out more than a squeak when I opened the cache container and a large insect jumped out! I hesitate to look for caches in certain locations in Australia, as I'm not used to the creepy crawlies here. Didn't take long to find this one with MrMagoo72. Signed the log, quickly returned as found and we were out of there.
Down here early morning before work to pick up this cache. What a cute park.
The log is a little wet in the container. Well ticked away in its hiding hole.

Found quickly but not sure this is terrain 1 due to reach and the tree roots at the bottom.
Find No: 9121. Visiting from Newcastle, staying at my brother's in Nerang, thanks for the cache GroceryStoreWalkin!!
Second last park visit today and what great murals to admire as we made our way to GZ. A fairly quick find was made and now onto our last park. Thanks.
Out having a geocaching adventure today With JooJoo57 and came to this one. Cute cache container here. Having checked all about we started at another elevation which turned out to be correct. With the log signed we replaced as found and made sure it was obscured from view. A very large park here and some nice paintings on the building to admire.
Thanks for the new caches in the area GroceryStoreWalkin.
Cheers and happy caching!

In the area for my daughter to go to an appointment, so I spend the time looking for caches. Took awhile to find this one as the GPS took me lots of places. Finally found and the log about the bugs inhabiting the cache were correct. I think one even made it back to my car with me. Log signed and secured with a hair tie as it doesn’t quite clip back together. TFTC.
The container was so goofy. Watch out for the bugs bc there was a cockroach in it. Picture contains spoilers
With no real plan, I’m stopping for random caches…
Good coordinates made this an easy find… I’d be concerned about the longevity of this container and it’s contents…
Thanks GroceryStoreWalkin

I’m The bugs are gone for now thanks to my handy bushman’s supply. I had to change the log out as they had eaten a hole in the baggie and were nesting in the paper of the log, there were a few different creepy crawlies living and laying eggs in all different parts of this one. I am glad I had read previous logs and came prepared for annihilation. Cache done I enjoyed the mural and headed off. Sadly The best containers are ones that bugs and water can’t get into. Cute idea
