We are on a one week holiday road trip from Sydney to Brisbane to Sydney, with pre-booked accommodation at the Ingenia White Albatross Holiday Park in Nambucca Heads, the Big4 NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort on the Gold Coast, the Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort in Yamba, and the Big4 Leisure Tourist Park in Port Macquarie. Planning to collect some caches around our accommodation stays, and also stop-off for some targeted caches along the M1 Pacific Motorway route. Photos will be uploaded to logs after our return to home base.Today we spent most of the day relaxing at the Big4 NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort in Biggera Waters on the Gold Coast, enjoying the various swimming pools and other entertainment facilities on offer, but ducked out in the late afternoon for a few cache finds located close to the resort. This was the 1st of 3 finds for the day (day 3), and 29th find of the holiday. This was the first cache we came to, parking the geomobile at the end of Goorawin Street and then heading into Runaway Bay Lions Park, where the cache was a nice quick find on arrival at GZ. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC GroceryStoreWalkin.Find #7187
Log was soaking wet so I've put a new bit of paper in there in a zip lock bag. Dropped off a trackable I picked up from Japan + some swag tftc!
Container was on the ground open with log next to it. Put log back in and returned to a less obvious spot nearby.
Found it. But unfortunately on the floor in plane sight and not hidden. We put it back where it should be. Needs some maintenance as is soaked with water on the inside. Thanks.
A quick easy find. It looks like the container is no longer waterproof as the log is very wet. Probably needs some maintenance. Thanks.
We found this cache on a lovely sunny Saturday! Lil hint: look for the tree with many trunks
Was in the open of the area, we hid it more as we found it straight away. Didnt have a pen unfortunately
We are visiting the GC from nz. Today we are out on a random drive picking up a few caches. With the hint this was a straight forward findThank you GroceryStoreWalkin for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 5052
Was called down for a meeting so I thought I might as well grab a couple for this date. I had one in Warwick to grab when I get back. So this was a reasonably easy one to find. The container has had some water in it but was able to sign the log and away I go I better get back to Warwick before it gets to dark. Thanks for this one
Despite the recent tree falling down the cache is still accessible and although a little damp, log was signed.
TFTC. It's still there, even with the destruction from the storm. Log is extremely wet. Could barely sign
Visiting the Gold Coast with RoddyC and Hatzofff to attend a CITO and an Event then off to convert a few coloured spots into Smilies.Extreme destruction of trees etc after the recent storms. This was an easy find. Log signed and replaced as found . TFTC
Out in the Goldie area after a morning events.OK.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 10:39 AM on January 5, 2024. TFTC, GroceryStoreWalkin
It must be summar. The events are early morning. First the CITO then an event then off to find some unfound caches with RoddyC hatzofff and imbunda.May be a few less bushes now after the tobig storms.TFTCache GroceryStoreWalkin
After an early start to the morning with two events done this morning, love my early starts. I took off and proceeded to cache around the area. Wearing high viz clothes and looking as though you are on a mission, works well when people look at you and wonder what you are up to. The recent storms had trees down in this area, so it looked as though I was doing maintenance or gathering information in the area. People just talked and left me alone. I searched around and found the cache nicely positioned as per the hint. All good with this one and with the log signed and cache replaced as found I was off to the next one in the area. Thanks for the hide.
Found, (was open on the floor next to a plastic bag) is now sealed in the bag hiding among the trees

A quick, easy find with MrMagoo72, as the brightly coloured cache container was quite exposed and the log paper inside was damp. Packed the caching in for the day after this one, as I was getting a little freaked with what may be hiding the dry leaves etc in the area, after a critter jumped out of a previous cache container I found nearby.
Lots of muggles exercising their dogs this afternoon, when MacBayMeri and I were on the hunt for this one, but we were nicely hidden by the vegetation and luckily none of the dogs were curious about us. TFTC.
Our first cache adventure, easy to find once we downloaded the app and used the locator
This was a quick find. Log was so soggy it could be wrung out. Water resistant paper now in there too help future cachers get their name in the log.
It was very wet. And no trinkets to be found left a few but I didn’t have a log book to leave behind unfortunately. Nice park though.
Quick find. Cache container letting in water and the log is very wet. Hard to sign. Needs a maintenance check. TFTC and bringing me to this nice little park.
Find No: 9120. Visiting from Newcastle, staying at my brother's in Nerang, thanks for the cache GroceryStoreWalkin!!
Sorry we were unable to help fix the cache while we were visiting it. Our last find for the day was in another suburban park that seem to be around every corner in this area.
On a geocaching excursion doing maintenance on some of ours and finding some of some other geocachers. We came here and made the find fairly quickly. Sadly it was very wet and I wasn't in my own car with my stash so couldn't attend to it today. I heard the CO has been sick recently so if someone else is coming here soon could you bring some paper for a log in a ziplock bag and some paper towel to wipe it out please.
Thanks for the new caches in the area GroceryStoreWalkin.
Cheers and happy caching!

Found it, I tried not to use the hint and it was really easy. Took only a minute. Geocaching adventures with Icecreamsk8 pt3. Don't look at pictures of you don't want spoilers
With no real plan, I’m stopping for random caches…
My final find of the day… and the only troublesome part of the visit was the thousand “death birds” as my great friend calls them…
Thanks GroceryStoreWalkin
