Logs
As i approached from the Trees cache, there was a sign stating beyond the fence was Out of bounds, yet there was a stile at the end of the fence line near the road way. I Rocked on up to this, and made a quick find. Hopefully, it was a recent replacement log, and not a throw down.
Lots of caching in Cornwall Park today while I wait for my son to finish a waterpolo workshop. I appear to have left my pen in a previous cache so it will be photologs for me from now on. Im glad I wasnt sitting here when this mountain erupted, I wouldve had quite the headache with these rocks falling down upon me.
A cool location and fun hunt. We loved seeing the loca quails and pheasants too! #TFTC #114
Found it under the rock, quite easy and fun Dont take it to seriously, its a rock close to the bottom of the hillCool cache, loved it so much P.S Owner the paper is almost out and is broken
Saw the cache immediately as we walked up so quick find here for us today. Log pretty full now. Tried to rehide better so it doesn't get muggled. Tftc.
Finally convinced Mr 8 to a little detour from our walk to get this one. What a great rocky haven! No pen today unfortunately so digital log in only. Tftc!
Loads of people at Cornwall Park today. Great way to spend the afternoon. Thank you.
Heading back to the car now with just a few more to locate, and recall having been here searching for a cache on a previous visit with younger kids....so the find here was swift and onto the next hide. The cache was all good.TFTC.
Found the cache during a nice walk around Cornwall park. The cache was uncovered so we didnt even need to search. The caches rocks!
Day 2 of our out of town mission with Reschedule. first stop for today, Cornwall Park for some breakfast and caches. I used to visit this are as a kid, playing cricket at the near by cricket club, but I couldn't believe how much bigger the whole are is than I remember. This was the first find, a nice easy find after a short stroll down from the road above.
Out of town on a caching mission with Kiwi Does Stuff, made a plan for the few days up in Auckland and hit the road. Quick find with the help of the sheep. TFTC!
Great cache took us a bit to get to the cache because of all the poop around thanks
Last day in NZ starting with an event, before heading into town. Lots of virtuals and earth caches today and a few other ones.TFTC Wilbert67
A little holiday to NZ, grabbing some caches on an our travel. Seeing interesting placed along the way.Plenty of room on the log sheetThanks to all the COs for their hides
Found with akkatracker after hopping the fence. We were in abit of a rush, so hopefully didn't startle anyone with our quicker than leisurely pace of walking.Great dodging the sheep poop and took a great photo of the log with sheep.TFTC!
Did not realise we'd be getting up close and personal with the sheep here. Great little spot, few places checked before finding the cache. All in order here. Thanks
First time in One Tree Hill! Absolutely beautiful hike. Interesting stairs along the way!! So much fun.
Found it with the help of my 7 year old niece named Charlotte. Great spot to hide. TFTC
Wow this took a bit of searching but Mr Juju made the find! Great place for a cache TFTC
Accio 11:31:29Visiting from across the ditch for our first time - today was out and about around Auckland, and after a lovely breakfast nearby here, T4mmmy and I went for a circuit walk around the park. Having been up top we are now walking around the main roadway. I took a while searching all the wrong spots ... but T4mmmy pointed out I had missed GC Rule #1 ... "It is always in the first place you look - but rarely the first time you look there!", Oh well, found in the end. Thanks AJOJDJ for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #11647}*
FP as this was our very first find in NZ!! after hot Malaysia we enjoyed being able to enjoy the outdoors. Jetlagged but found Apologies for the late log. It appears that we are nearly as bad as armchair loggers??. We actually DO go out and find the caches but because we plan to write up longer and nicer logs at home we also can (read: often do) forget to do so. We could blame the teen and toddler, but travelling the world then moving into a new country unexpectedly (NZ) means we were always busy and now have 500logs to catch up on ?? they are all from drafts so the date of the log will be when we actually visited (not today) which will align with the physical paper log but not CO receiving this email.Thank you so much for placing and maintaining this cache, allowing us to see what you as CO value and which parts of your local "turf" you love ??
