Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Back in WA to visit family and work Grain Harvest. Now staying a few days in Hoddyswell with Iluvtrekking. This morning we headed off together towards Avon valley for 3 caches before returning to Toodyay for brunch at a lovely little cafe (Early Mist Cafe) which had the best poached eggs. We split up after brunch and we headed up to Bolgart before returning via a few multi's, where we bumped into Team Chwiliwr before abandoning the hunt to return for happy hour. Crops are looking good, albeit still far too green to be harvested. TFTC Lachlan1.77
Coordinates easily calculated, but all I could find at the gz was an old beanie and a cigarette butt.
Found it. TFTC Lachlan1.77. Out this way gathering a few smileys. Happy to make a quick find here, replaced as found.
Back for a second look. Co ords not quite on, but after a thorough search we got there
Almost an epic fail for me here. I spent such a long time double checking my calculations but repeatedly ended up at a multi trunk tree that didnt seem to yield success. Thankfully my PAF proved more successful than my searching ability. Thanks for the hide.
Our last day in Toodyay after the IGD Event. Hopefully the rain is clearing and we can dry out. Country caching is our preference so this cache suited us to a tee. Nice to see the paddocks so green and lush. Nice to see another added to the LKA series we started nearly 18 years ago. Co-ords a bit out for us but soon spotted. Thanks Lachlan1.77
Today is International Geocaching Day and we are up in TOODJAY at the event put on by West Oz Geocaching Committee to mark this special day and weekend . The geocaching plan today for Taurus Six and I was : Firstly, to collect all the puzzle caches just out of town on the Goomalling- TOODJAY Road, we had solved all puzzles earlier the last few with a little help from CO . Secondly, we need to collect a couple of caches from the two LGAs east and north of TOODJAY to qualify for the challenge cache we accomplished this. For Goomalling as part of the GG series then we hit the back roads to Victoria Plains and collected a few in Bolgart; thirdly , we are collecting all the challenges caches also just out of town, especially now that we have the correct LGAs - we had the pleasure of undertaking many of these caches with PP2; fourthly , we are collecting the multi caches that just came out yesterday having solved them last night and this morning here again we had the pleasure of caching with PP2 ; fifthly , we are collecting all the Adventure Labs around town and sixthly; we will collect any other geocaches that we come across for the day. The weather is looking inclement so we best get as many early as possible because it looks like it could be stormy . All in all a fabulous day of geocaching in this glorious part of WA . Thanks to the organisers and all the geocachers who have placed caches especially for this weekend .
A fairly quick find here, thank you for the multi Lachlan1.77!Teamed up with ullyssia today to tackle the series of puzzles, challenges, multis and traditionals released for the IGD24 weekend. We had a great run in the morning with the weather holding up, but that changed after the lunchtime event in town. Fortunately we had all the right gear and kept going despite the rain and cool wind. Thanks again to all those who placed hides for the weekend and made this trip to Toodyay a lot of fun!
Thank you! Day 2 of the IGD weekend in Toodyay. Teamed up with papillon367 to make as big a dent as possible into the puzzle, challenge, traditional, multi and other series released ahead or as part of the IGD weekend.Happy to make the find here.

Travelling into Toodyay for IGD 24. Stopping to collect smileys on the way. Got the co ords quickly but my jumpy gps lead me astray a couple of times. No problem with this cache. TFTMC ??
We have been traveling with richlink on our Annual Geocaching road trip for the last three months. Now we are homeward bound with a brief stop off in Toodyay for the IGD Event. This is one of the many caches we found this weekend, Thanks Lachlan1.77, All good here.
Checked on the weather for the IGD weekend and it looked like a lot of rain I decided to come out early . TFTC .
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 69 - Swan Valley Perth to Goomalling via Toodjay and Calingiri. After a great time being stationary around Perth it was time to move on. I fund plenty of caches along the way and did a couple of nice Labs in Toodjay before lining up for a very nice morning tea in the bakery. I retired to the Goomalling pub for the afternoon and was joined by Sacada and Aquillus for dinner. we made plans for a day of series caching for the next day before a very cold night.Victoria Plains was my second new county for the day. There were not may caches to choose from near my route, so I stuck to two at Bolgart and two at Calingiri. Lots of details in this multi, and I eventually saw the new cache and signed my name. Thanks for the cache Lachlan1.7748237.8 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2006 World Travel Silver A#14**Albida**

Another winters day road trip & finding caches along the way, this one we looked for after a delicious meal at the pub... We quickly calculated where the prize would be hidden which took a few minutes to locate the sneaky thing [^]

In Bolgart for the Xmas markets. Surprised to find someone I knew next to these multi questions. Lucky he didn’t have a pic on his plaque or he may have been in this puzzle - super weird. RIP Adam
Out and about again, what a superb day for caching, catching up on a heap of new hides that have gone out in the past month.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.
