Found with my mum - her first cache! A gorgeous little find. Be careful with the terrain - I would advise against this one if it's been raining.

Another impromptu afternoon of caching with ALL7 which include a lot of laughs and a lot of huffing and puffing today (for us anyway). But lovely weather and much better than sitting at a computer. Met up with ALL7 at her place and off we went.Quick find, signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the hide Tankengine and for the fun ALL7

I continued down to the CT from the archery field and had a pleasant early morning stroll along a familiar path although still had to contend with plenty of blackberries. Once on the path I continued along until I reached the bridge over the creek, and was hoping to possibly find a trail along it to the GZ, which to my delight there was a kind of a trail. I little sketchy in places but this time of the morning, the rumbling creek was beautiful. Eventually I came upon the GZ and spied a weird concoction of pipes. I had a little chuckle at one of the pipes in particular which I suspect may well had been placed intentionally. At the GZ, the likely spot seemed straight forward, but proved fruitless. I spent some time looking around without luck, and was feeling defeated. But as often happens, one last look before retreating proved fruitful. Duties performed, I headed back out of the area on an old wooded stair past another structure.Lovely location!

34,052. Found with minniek during a short-ish walk after work.Went for a short walk this afternoon. Parked near the pool and took a (for me) familiar path. After grabbing an LBH beyond here, we retraced our steps to this one. Down past the building various bits of infrastructure. Convenient steps down as well. After a careful check at GZ for locals, the only one around came for a visit as we Stamped the log (see attached). Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed back down and off back to the car and home. Thanks Tankengine !!

On a morning hike with Fox in Jox. Meandered down to the Tuggeranong Creek, found some interesting pipes and soon thereafter the cache. All good with the hide. Nice rapids too. Thanks TE--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their long lasting, and ongoing connections to land, sea and community. Out with pantspeople for a morning's walk around Urambi. Found the pipe shed, then some pipes, then some more. Soon, we were near the water and found a cache. No 'fishermen' spotted. TFTC TE

Almost died doing this as I was looking at my phone and nearly stepped on a brown snake!Once at GZ I looked at the obvious hiding spot and it was easily found. I made sure I had a pencil with me today but it really struggled on the waxy paper, see photo. Thanks for the cache Tankengine

Had a good chat with a fisherman near the pond. Apparently he was enjoying life. He wasn't convinced that geocaching was such a good thing though. Cool to see a fresh log. Thanks for the cache!A favourite point for the unusual interactions.

Another location brought to you by geocaching. After a quick search had the cache in hand, gps was unusually off by a few metres. Signed and replaced threw a few rocks into the water then headed off, no muggle fisherman about today, but an inquisitive local wouldn't leave me alone. TNLNSL TFTC

Out with Tankengine to do some maintenance And it was a lovely day for a ride. We were able to do all that we wanted, I was even able to find a few I hadnt found yet and thankfully I only saw one snake! And of course it was where I decided to sit for lunch. A young red belly black snake two feet away on the edge of the river. Dang it! This cache was all good and such a lovely spot on the river. Tftc!!!

I am beginning to struggle to find groupings of caches, so the time had come to try for some of the trail based caches that I have not got to and that many of my caching companions have already done. I tried to get away early, but in the end 9 had to suffice. I headed down along Tuggeranong creek to the Murrumbidgee river, visiting about half the trail caches to Kambah pool and one or two other finished puzzles and multi's along the way. The weather is getting warm and sunny, so I was happy to be back at the car and heading home by midday.

I am sure these old pipes and infrastructure served a purpose one day, but it is all very unused today, so getting a cache gives it some meaning again.

Thanks for the cache Tankengine

[FTF] at 0747. A lovely wander down a familiar trail on the downstream side of Lake Tuggeranong, past the olfactory overload of the sewage ventilation pipe before regaining the side of Tuggeranong Creek adjacent to GZ. So close to civilisation (well, Tuggeranong at least) and yet feels like you're in the bush. Lots of roos and cockatoos around.

I love these sorts of caches placed near disused infrastructure. Quite a bit of it here, too - lots of pipes plus the old building and what looks like the remains of a transmission aerial.

At GZ the cache was quickly located in an obvious spot, and as always great to find a blank log. A pretty wander back to the car.

Thanks, Tankengine! A favourite from me.
