Nice quick find here made easy by the type of tree and time of year it is! *The generic bit for this trip*We are on now on our way south after heading north for warmer weather. From Cooktown back to Notth East Victoria, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.

Big Grin Happy New Year Big GrinWhat a great way to start the New Year, of 2024. After my short sleep, it was time to check out of the motel and get bfast before heading over to the event. For my first cache of the year was the NYD event by the Lake. Then as a group we found a nearby multi cache. After that, ADAcache and I headed out to find some other caches including some nast I mean creative hides by TF5. Once we parted ways, I headed off to find some tree climbs and get lunch. Then it was time to head home but not before finding two more caches as I passed by them. Unless stated otherwise, the caches were found in good condition and were quick finds. TB visit. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. Big Grin TFTE & TFTCs Big GrinAfter lunch it was time to head home bound. A nice quick find here. This was my last find of the day. Big Grin

33,686. Found with minniek during a lovely country run this weekend celebrating another trip around the sun for me.After being away a month it was great to get out and do a country caching run with minniek again. We chose the Binalong / Harden / Wallendbeen / Cootamundra / Young / Boorowa circle to do. Our aim was also to enjoy a nice Pub dinner in Wallendbeen and to camp in Cootamundra after hopefully gaining revenge on a previous DNF down that way (which we did). This was the next find of the day. A quick find once at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on our journey to the next cache on our list. Thanks TheBountyHolters !!

With the week4end past, I was searching for places to go again. I selected a loop from Yass, to Young, via Boorowa and back via Harden & Binalong. It was a cold clear day that was great for caching. The first two I visited seem to have been taken by guard rail replacement work. I stay in Young was short but fun and included breakfast and the Japanese gardens. On the way back I did most of my caching around Wallendbeen and then a final cache in Binalong before heading home. Mind you it seems I need to go back Young to get my coat, oh well.

Thanks for the cache TheBountyHolters

Heading home from banding at Weddin mountains but have to admit I scoped this one out on the way north. Definitely a winter cache (very easy without the cover). Parking is not great here but a quick dive across the road and the log was signed.

Day two on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are heading to Cowra and back. Tonight we have made it to Cowra!.

We seemed to have stumbled onto a [FTF] at this cache!
Strange to see silos that are not painted these days.
Thanks, Robmc.

#20943. Day 1 of a short holiday over the border in NSW with Robmc and the geodoggies. After an extremely chilly night (and yes, we were expecting cold nights) we started the caching day in Cootamundra before making slow tracks via caches to Cowra where we are staying for 2 nights.

FTF (FTF) {FTF} with Robmc. Well this was a complete and utter surprise. This one is so new I didn't even have it on my GPS. Always good to get a FTF when you don't even realise until you see an empty log book. Interestting cache page notes too regarding keeping the grain in good order. Now off to the Railway Station for the next one.

Thanks TheBountyHolters

#3882 DeadThief and I had been doing a guinea pig maintenance run with the CO’s and dropped by this little disabled guy. He had unfortunately hit the ground and took a chook scratch to locate. We were therefore present during the re-enabling of this cache and am claiming now that it has a few finds. Thanks TheBountyHolters for the adventure.
