Staying in Young for the weekend with the caravan club.Came down here to Wallendbeen to get a few caches.Unfortunately no luck on this oneThanks anyway

Finally we are on our way to Canberra for the GeoBash.We set up camp in Coota for 4 nights and visited the town and some of the outlying places.This morning we headed to Wallendbeen and then onto Harden where we met up with Robmc for a tour around Galong.Spotted the green from the other side of the building thank goodness it was pretty icky under there.Thanks for contributing to our holiday TheBountyHolters

With the week4end past, I was searching for places to go again. I selected a loop from Yass, to Young, via Boorowa and back via Harden & Binalong. It was a cold clear day that was great for caching. The first two I visited seem to have been taken by guard rail replacement work. I stay in Young was short but fun and included breakfast and the Japanese gardens. On the way back I did most of my caching around Wallendbeen and then a final cache in Binalong before heading home. Mind you it seems I need to go back Young to get my coat, oh well.

Day two on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are heading to Cowra and back. Tonight we have made it to Cowra!.

We have seen so many tennis courts in failing condition as we traveled around, it is nice to see one well kept.
Mind you no one was using them atm, but they weren't covered in weeds either.

#20941. Day 1 of a short holiday over the border in NSW with Robmc and the geodoggies. After an extremely chilly night (and yes, we were expecting cold nights) we started the caching day in Cootamundra before making slow tracks via caches to Cowra where we are staying for 2 nights.

What lovely tennis courts in a great setting. I can see myself happily nestled in the sun watching play. Alas all quiet today, which of course is good when you are searching for a cache. A quick find here and we continued on our way.

#2014 Slowly catching up, more to come…

#3857 With a planned trip via Harden to Wallendbeen today we touched base with the CO’s to see if they were interested in tagging along and they took us up on the offer. Meeting up in Harden before tackling theirs.
What better way to attend to some OM than to send DeadThief and I in as guinea pigs. Testing our searching abilities amid bouts of laughter and cheeky giggles.
At least we can say all found safe and well and we saved face. At least until next time.
Very happy that their was no Sunday afternoon social tennis. With the grounds to ourselves it was another quick pick up. All in good condition. Didn’t get aced here today.

Heading home from a weekend banding at Weddin Mountains and getting a few caches on the way home.

Last one in Wallendbeen for the day (will save the rest for next banding trip up this way). Parked nearby and walked over - stealth definitely required here. Took a couple of goes to find this one but eventually got there.

Having been nearly a month since I last went Geocaching and for me today was mostly free, I took the opportunity to find the new caches in Wallendbeen. I attempted five of the new caches and ended up with five added to my find list. Each of them took me to different unique locations, four of which I have never been to before. This was one of the five I found. TB visit. Thanks, TheBountyHolters for the fun finds and for taking me to all these places. TFTC's

Another hidden gem of Wallendbeen. A great spot to bring people. Ohhh... as for the cache another quick find with a bonus FTF. Thanks once again.
