With dot558 actually found t but beyond our capabilities and couldn't sign logThanks anyway for placing the cache
Driving our way from Temora to Canberra in the rain today we stopped here to visit this cache.Although Mrs. Domsky loves her tree climbs, we were mindful given it had been gently raining throughout the morning. Arriving at GZ it was still pretty wet and the ground underfoot was a bit squelchy. We walked towards the beautiful Gumtree. Its actually quite an unusual shape with many beautiful branches which make it ideal for climbing. Today was not an ideal climbing day given the beautiful eucalyptus oils of the tree and the rain are not always a good combination. So it was with some caution that we made the climb having seen the Hide from the ground. It turned out to be a very safe and doable climb even in the wet today. This was also a lovely break on our drive today. Thanks TheBountyHolters Domsky
Staying in Young for the weekend with the caravan club.Came down here to Wallendbeen to get a few caches.Unfortunately no luck on this one. Found a beautiful old gum tree. Assumed the cache should be up there somewhere and that would be why a monkey may need a leg up. I looked up but couldn't seen any cache. Thanks anyway
Finally we are on our way to Canberra for the GeoBash. We set up camp in Coota for 4 nights and visited the town and some of the outlying places. This morning we headed to Wallendbeen and then onto Harden where we met up with Robmc for a tour around Galong. Not many kookaburras about today but we did have a monkey. Thanks for contributing to our holiday TheBountyHolters
Came out of this cache with plenty of white dust from the gum tree all over me! A nice little climb though & a quick find! Awesome to finally grab this one, been wanting too since it was published but haven't been past until today! Found with menzolup, enjoyed introducing another friend to geocaching, and he has even found a couple without me since Success! TFTC
It was fitzy_1965's birthday this weekend, so we decided to head out west for a bit of caching.Great weather and great company lead to a great couple of days caching. All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.Well, it helps if you are looking in the 'right' tree! Quick find in between muggles.
33,684. Found with minniek during a lovely country run this weekend celebrating another trip around the sun for me.After being away a month it was great to get out and do a country caching run with minniek again. We chose the Binalong / Harden / Wallendbeen / Cootamundra / Young / Boorowa circle to do. Our aim was also to enjoy a nice Pub dinner in Wallendbeen and to camp in Cootamundra after hopefully gaining revenge on a previous DNF down that way (which we did). This was the next find of the day. Well we wasted far too much time here looking up and up. Thought we saw it - nope that's not it. I tried a way different angle, and spotted the little sucker. Up went minniek for the find. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on our journey to the next cache on our list. Thanks TheBountyHolters !!
Found on a typical Winter day.
A nice trek around town.
Old faithful came in handy here.
Thanks for the cache TheBountyHolters,

A cold rainy day, but an easy enough spot to get to. Much easier than the last tree climb we stopped at. Rain had eased for just long enough for Boot to do the hard work.
*The generic bit for today's logs*
Spent the night in Bathurst but didn't do much caching there due to the rain and it being 5 degrees when we left! Rained most of the way home, so picked a few caches here and there to find. Heading south... it's the last day of our trip 'north for warmer weather': North East Victoria to Central Queensland, via Curtis Island! Just under 6500kms of caching, chatting and avoiding the cold! We have enjoyed the great variety of caches along the way. Thank you to all the COs who maintain them for us to enjoy.

With the week4end past, I was searching for places to go again. I selected a loop from Yass, to Young, via Boorowa and back via Harden & Binalong. It was a cold clear day that was great for caching. The first two I visited seem to have been taken by guard rail replacement work. I stay in Young was short but fun and included breakfast and the Japanese gardens. On the way back I did most of my caching around Wallendbeen and then a final cache in Binalong before heading home. Mind you it seems I need to go back Young to get my coat, oh well.
I shackled have read the cache page ! I spent ages in the wrong tree at first. Once in the right one, this cache was soon found.
Thanks for the cache TheBountyHolters

Bit hard to spot. But eventually caught a glimpse and there it was. The police stopped and asked what we were doing
1st day of our Mildura Madness run. Really looking forward to getting away.
Thanks for getting me out and about TheBountyHolters

Found on a trip to Mildura. It took us a while to spot. I got the ladder out and managed to spot it when I got a bit higher. Managed to sign the sneaky container and get it closed again. A LEO pulled up and asked what we were doing. They seemed to know about geocaching and told us to carry on. Thanks for the hide TheBountyHolters
Day two on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are heading to Cowra and back. Tonight we have made it to Cowra!.
We couldn't hear any Kookaburra's, but it is a lovely gum tree here.
A very smooth climb.
Thanks, Robmc.

#20938. Day 1 of a short holiday over the border in NSW with Robmc and the geodoggies. After an extremely chilly night (and yes, we were expecting cold nights) we started the caching day in Cootamundra before making slow tracks via caches to Cowra where we are staying for 2 nights.
Having seen the Terrain rating on tihs one I wasn't expecting success and a smilie but lo and behold Rob spied a tell tale sign so up he went and soon had the cache and the log to hand. This is a truly magnificent tree and the picket fence around the oval is so gorgeous. It looks like a true English Village Cricket Ground. No Kookaburras today but there were some at home in my garden when we left yesterday.
Thanks TheBountyHolters

#3852 With a planned trip via Harden to Wallendbeen today we touched base with the CO’s to see if they were interested in tagging along and they took us up on the offer. Meeting up in Harden before tackling theirs.
What better way to attend to some OM than to send DeadThief and I in as guinea pigs. Testing our searching abilities amid bouts of laughter and cheeky giggles.
At least we can say all found safe and well and we saved face. At least until next time.
After wandering around staring skyward the cache was eventually spotted. DeadThief was our monkey today and was sent up to attend to the required logging duties. Plenty of encouragement provided from below.
Thanks BountyHolters for the caches and for joining us today.

It was obviously this tree. A short climb and then it was in sight. Always love a tree climb. Although, Sue refused to watch. She probably thinks I'm too old for this. TFTC TheBountyHolters
Started my journey to the mega in Rutherglen. With stops in moss Vale, Yass and Wagga Wagga most Kilometers are done today. A chilly start of the day, but weather is good.

Having been nearly a month since I last went Geocaching and for me today was mostly free, I took the opportunity to find the new caches in Wallendbeen. I attempted five of the new caches and ended up with five added to my find list. Each of them took me to different unique locations, four of which I have never been to before. This was one of the five I found. TB visit. Thanks, TheBountyHolters for the fun finds and for taking me to all these places. TFTC's
I have seen this cricket ground many times before from the Rest Area but never up close... until now. Once at GZ, up the tree I went and after a short search a quick find was had. It was soon signed and replaced and then onto the next one.
