Christmas Eve Geocaching Trip For the first time ever, I have had a chance to go geocaching on Christmas Eve. When I saw that there was an event in Canberra, I decided to head there for a day trip. So, apart from the event, my other reason for going was so I could make 1000 finds (or more) for the year of 2023 because I am so close. Guess what, I ended today with 1003 and the year isnt finished yet! Today, I decided on finding the UGC caches that I qualify for and a couple of multis before heading over to the event. Once at the event, all talk Geo was had as well as a few other things. Soon we were on our way to find some other caches around the lake. Soon enough it was time to head home. TB visit on all found caches. Unless stated otherwise, the caches were found in good condition and were quick finds. TB visit. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTE & TFTCs! My last find for today. A nice quick find at GZ while on my way home.
On way back to Canberra from day trip to Cootamundra and thought I would stop and grab this one and an easy find tftc
It was fitzy_1965's birthday this weekend, so we decided to head out west for a bit of caching.Great weather and great company lead to a great couple of days caching. All caches were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.
33,674. Found with minniek during a lovely country run this weekend celebrating another trip around the sun for me.After being away a month it was great to get out and do a country caching run with minniek again. We chose the Binalong / Harden / Wallendbeen / Cootamundra / Young / Boorowa circle to do. Our aim was also to enjoy a nice Pub dinner in Wallendbeen and to camp in Cootamundra after hopefully gaining revenge on a previous DNF down that way (which we did). This was the first find of the day. A quick find once at GZ. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then continued on our journey to the next cache on our list. Thanks TheBountyHolters !!
This cache took abit of poking around, Came here earlier in the week to find the local farmer welding a new gate in the driveway so i had to abort this find temporarily.Came back a few days later and got the find, Horrah!.. Name was signed and the log book returned back to its original location. Thanks heaps for the hide!
Pulled up for a quick hunt on the way to Temora. Soon spotted and log signed. TFTC TheBountyHolters

With the week4end past, I was searching for places to go again. I selected a loop from Yass, to Young, via Boorowa and back via Harden & Binalong. It was a cold clear day that was great for caching. The first two I visited seem to have been taken by guard rail replacement work. I stay in Young was short but fun and included breakfast and the Japanese gardens. On the way back I did most of my caching around Wallendbeen and then a final cache in Binalong before heading home. Mind you it seems I need to go back Young to get my coat, oh well.

#3850 With a planned trip via Harden to Wallendbeen today we touched base with the CO’s to see if they were interested in tagging along and they took us up on the offer. Meeting up in Harden before tackling theirs.
What better way to attend to some OM than to send DeadThief and I in as guinea pigs. Testing our searching abilities amid bouts of laughter and cheeky giggles.
At least we can say all found safe and well and we saved face. At least until next time.
A good hide here and located once we had outlasted some muggle activity.
Thanks BountyHolters for the caches and for joining us today.

Started my journey to the mega in Rutherglen. With stops in moss Vale, Yass and Wagga Wagga most Kilometers are done today. A chilly start of the day, but weather is good.
