I had attended a nearby CITO event in Papakura earlier in the afternoon. As such, I took the opportunity to find the cache owner's hides around Red Hill. While I had success with the previous three it was not the case here. I gave the footbridge a very careful examination, but to no avail. I suspect this one may be missing again; The cache owner may wish to check on it.
Cache was missing most likely due to recent council work. Have replaced, is slightly different but follows all attributes of past one
Seen this type before. Was glad for quick find after end’s on others for various reasons
Checked Geocache after bad weather in Auckland over last few weeks. All ok except for a slightly damp log sheet, replaced.
We spied these caches this morning and thought we would get out in the break in the rain. This was our first. It was elusive at first as it had been covered by some dry grass. Seen a few of these in our caching days. We got it logged and returned. Unfortunately it has an ant infestation when we visited
While I checked out one spot, Net61 made the find in another spot and without a squeal too!
Cool hide, 2nd one we've found like this in under 2 weeks, definitely getting more ideas for hides

After an unsuccessful search for the nearby Totally Totara cache we decided to head down the path to see if we would have any better luck with this one.
It was a beautiful day so a few muggles were around enjoying the sun but fortunately none were close enough to GZ to cause any problems.
We soon had our hands on the cache but its unexpected camo almost made us drop it and run away screaming.
Fortunately we restrained ourselves, had a closer look and breathed a sign of relief.
Thanks for this clever hide which is very well placed in its hiding spot.
Now back to Totally Totara for one more try.

Out for a Sunday cache hunt. Geokid 7 found this one. They weather was not playing it’s part , too wet for a play in the play ground.
Have never been to this Children's Forest and playground before so thanks Team LMMC for bringing me here!
I walked a few of the pathways...and as there are so many houses nearby I was amazed no kids or families were in the playground or exploring the Forest!
Not even Dog Walkers .
It was like a ghost village...didn't see anyone even mowing their lawns or hanging out washing!
Sorry...off topic...I did love the cute unexpected camo here!
Well done Miss 10!
Hope to see more of your caches in the future!

M13 and W11 were running in the area today, i saw this new cache pop up no far from where we were, so made a quick dash over, arrived at GZ and found the cache looking right at me

Starting to be a regular occurrence, this getting woken by publications thinking it's an alarm going off.....spotted these 2 caches close to home, then realized they were where we have trees planted for our 3 children's births......Thought I'd go for the other of these caches first being the more difficult to get parking nearby....but that one eluded myself, B4Dawn, and Sharkbaite2013, but headed over to this one along with B4Dawn, as I thought I'd make this find, before the locals realize something is here, as this forest is a very frequented place....hopefully this is not the case....located this one much more effectively than the first cache, and signed in....after Sharkbaite2013.....
