Strangely had about 6 snails on the container asleep. Brushed them off to access the container thanks for the series
Thanks for an awesome power trail. Really enjoying the walk along the pipeline. TFTC
Visited the cache today and replaced the wet logbook with a new one, which has now been double bagged to hopefully keep it dry. Also cleaned & dried the inside of the container and replaced the pencil, and evicted loads of slimy snails from the cache's hidey hole. Happy caching everyone
Because there is a pipe leak at GZ causing the wet cache. I hide it at the adjacent stand.
Out for a longish practice walk in preparation for the Six Foot Track so backpacks, water bladders and hiking boots on today. Starting at number 9 and heading out to 24.
Up and over the pipeline we went which was a bit challenging with the load on our backs. The container was almost entirely snail-covered! Back up and over and we continued on. SL TFTC Cheers… Gaztek

Jennyfromthefarm and I had been talking about doing this series for a while. Today we headed out on a warm sunny winters day. We meet at #1 then decided it was better to park a car at the start and end, so drove the second car to the end and worked our way in reverse on this series.
Thanks for placing this series, we really enjoyed and found this with ease.

OCW discobob3 today and we met and parked at number 1 but while sitting in the car I looked at the distance and said let’s leave a car at each end which I’m very glad we did.
It was a decent walk with some varied terrain and three offshoot adventures to find other caches that weren’t very far off the trail.
Thankyou for placing and maintaining these caches along the pipeline. It was a worthwhile trip today to do it all in one go and we were happy to report each cache was found in good condition.
The walk took us approximately three hours at a relaxed pace.

Out visiting a colleague today (which ended up falling through) in the area so to the opportunity to start this pipeline trail. As a water engineer myself it was great to walk amongst this stellar piece of infrastructure. Tftc vk2df, a great series!
Today another quick find along the Pipeline track together with Marcela. It was good walk, but it was a hot day again.
Thanks for the trail
Thanks for the trail
Find #: 3,116
Companions: None
Muggles: One walking along the top of the pipe
Weather: Hot morning
Cache condition: Log fine, although bag wet
After #9 I decided to carry on to #10 (despite having somewhere to be, "when else will I be in the area?"). I needed to swap to the other side of the pipe, but there was a convenient ladder, so another quick find. TNLNSL TFTC

#15 MTB 21/01/2023 Gordon to Manly via the pipeline. Thanks for the brilliant trail vk2df #1827
All the 4Rods and the geodog ventured out to find this series today. After a few caches little geodog found the going too hot and had to rest. Team 4Rods then had to split up as geodog needed attention. When the series started publishing we decided that we would find all the caches in the power trail in one go. We loved loved the crafted cache containers. Excellent work. Loved the series, and it gets a FP from us. (apologies for the 1 generic log)
Thanks team vk2df.
Thanks team vk2df.
10th find today. I found myself on the wrong side of the pipeline and building, but luckily there was a conveniently placed bridge across just a couple metres down the pipeline. TFTC
There were a bunch of Sydney Water people having a chat so we stealthily snuck behind the pipe and avoided most suspicion. A quick find on our tubular walk today! TFTC
#10 was covered in snails and the pencil was missing. Other than that, all good. TFTC
Found last weekend.
I was originally going to grab one closer to my parking spot but it was such a nice day that i headed past that spot and onto this one.
I will be back for the others in the series.
Thanks.

With my 2 required finds to reach 10 for the calendar date now achieved anything else is a bonus!
I walked on. Once near GZ I had to use the stile to get to the correct side. Should I have been on the other side all the time? From the top of the stile there's a good view all the way to Warringah Road. This one was much more awkward to access but I soon had it and signed the log.

Together with Brewmaker I walked along the pipeline for quite a few caches. It was an enjoyable walk and each cache was a good find. Given the pipeline runs all the way to Pymble I expect quite a few more caches to be published!

More walking and a find, not much happening here today, very quiet. Thanks for a good hide.
(3 of 4 today)
After some calendar finds today, and there is a new powertrail up French's Forest way.
Thought I'd go for four, and start with #12. Not sure where the logic of that was - and discovered even less logic was involved when I realised I had Warringah Road between my first and second targets.
Still got all four without trouble.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Actually messed this one up for a few moments. Walked too far initially and then didn't come back far enough. So ended up checking about three times as many spots as I should. Finally spotted it.
Completed signing duties and replaced. After one more for the day.

Back to the pipeline this morning. As I arrived it started raining. Will I or won't I. Yes I will and I was rewarded with a sealed road for two of the caches as opposed to wet grass.

Three new Pipeline caches, within walking distance from home. Too good not to rush out and obtain three new FTF's.
