Logs
Had been recommissioning equipment in Opotiki and now retuning back to Auckland for the weekend. What should have been a 4.5 hour drive took somewhat longer.... one just HAS to Cache.Very clever hid. Note more than 1 corner post. Retrieving the cache upset the cache guardians whom I'm still fighting off in the car whilst noting this log on my phoneGets a fav point for the camo!TFTC
I started off looking in the wrong place and was almost discouraged by the hedge doing a good impression of a whomping willow. Returned to my car and was just about to get out and have another look after a rethink when a car came up the road parked in the driveway kids got out and back in again and drove away just as i was thinking id have to give ip on this one for today. Great cache well disguised and well not as well defended once i was looking in the right place. Thankyou for the cache
Nice hide! And a very tricky one to spot. Mr muggle found it for me in the end even though I was trying to look at all different angles. Evicted a family of slaters while signing the log. TFTC
I'm a few days late logging this. I was stoked to change the blue to yellow! I kicked myself when I found it. It was right there the whole time!! Great hide, once I spotted it, it was obvious. The ants loved it too, and I had to get rid of them before opening and logging. I loved the challenge of this cache! Tftc!
Quick find with Blue Jay while on a few day tour of the North island. All good at gz.TFTC. Toffee Man.
Clever. Good hide. We also acknowledge the traditional custodians of New Zealand / Aoteroa, as we geocache throughout their land while on holiday. Thanks for showing us this place, & for placing and maintaining this cache. The is our playground
Over this way and decided to do a slight detour to this one on our way home. Had a look round didn't see anything. Went back a few logs and then the light went on and straight to it. I was at the wrong post to begin with. Lol. Nicely done. Tftc.
I've just checked the cache and it is all safe in position. Thank you GSEL for caring enough to sort a replacement but I have left only the original cache. I will be back to clean up some of the rubbish that has been exposed from a resent hedge trim.
#13,990. Hmm found a small brown pill container in the leaf litter under the hedge by the corner post with soggy log paper inside. I assumed it was the cache, put in fresh log paper and hid it inside a convenient piece of plastic rubbish lying nearby. Job done I thought. Except now I am home, reading past logs and seeing some photos. Suspect either the pill container has separated from the original hiding object or it was left there by someone and the real cache is still hidden nearby. Will check it out next time I am passing through this area and will sign the real McCoy if its still there. Thanks tobesjm for the cache.
A quick stop on the way to Tauranga. Couldn't locate this one and didn't want to spend too long. A good look around anything vaguely matching the hint didn't turn anything up.
Found pretty quickly this time. Don't know how we missed it before. Nice to change to colour. TFTC.
Took us a few minutes but knew we were looking for a clever hide after reading previous logs, and clever it was. Number 2 for the day. TFTC
Dieser Cache konnte heute erfolgreich geloggt werden.Danke an den owner fr's legen und pflegen TFTC Schmerzbefreit
Id spotted the fav points on this one so stopped in on the way back to Auckland from hope. Mini McArgister and I had a look around one hint item with no luck but then I spotted another option with an out-of-place addition. Sure enough, pop, there it was! Here, have another fav point. Thanks for the pit stop cache!
Stop off on way to visit friends near by. Had to keep a look out with the farmer working near by.
Day trip to the wet Waikato to nab some finds towards a challenge and attend an event later in the day.
ROS searched in all the wrong places before finally locating the well hidden cache, fav point awarded TFTC.

New cache since we last went through here so had to take the detour home. Had us going for a while but then buzzybb spotted something. Yay cache in hand. Fav point for this cache.
Such a cool cache. Had us looking in the wrong spot initially. Then something caught my eye. Sure enough it was the cache. Tftc. Defo worth a favourite point.
That was a bitch to find. Took far to long - but at least the beginning of golden hour was beautiful
We parked across the road and headed to GZ, stepping carefully as it was quite muddy after all the recent rain.
We didn't spot the cache at first glance but a closer look revealed the very cleverly concealed container. Nicely done.
Great views from GZ as well.
Thanks tobesjm for the effort you put into this one, we give it a well deserved favourite point.

It was good to get out of Rotorua today and over the hill into the Waikato area for a bit of geocaching. The weather was a lot nicer than in Rotorua. We went via Matamata, Morrinsville and on to Hamilton then home through Cambridge. Thanks to the CO for hiding. FP here
Was heading north back past here today and parked the motorhome over near the weigh station before wandering over to GZ. Didn't take me to long to zone in on this very nice hide and was soon signing the log. Waved to the bloke driving the tractor as I was walking back to my van, TFTC
This took some looking, but with persistence, the cache was found. A fav point for the hide!. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I cruised back to Hamilton today. The traffic was pretty good, but the weather a bit drizzly at times.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

No view today with this low cloud. Still, delighted to find this gem and then drive past the nearby camp as my maiden name is Gow. Thanks tobesjm
No luck here. Checked both corner posts as previous log has mentioned cootds put you in the middle of the driveway.
Two of us spent about 15 minutes to no avail. GPS put us in the middle of the entrance. Fought our way through lots of branches to the nearest 2 corner posts but found nothing.
We had to wait for a tractor to go in, couldn't find it, then the tractor came back out after a couple of laps. That gave us a better window for the hunt, and there it was. TFTC!
A very clever hide. Were watching out for tractors as suggested when one pulled up and helped us out. Always good to meet the friendly people from the caching world.
What a cool hide, missed it first try but better luck after a hint from the friendly farmer. Tftc
One of seven located today on an outing to complete “Tarore’s Story” Ad Lab, as well as picking up a few regular caches. I overlooked this hide initially but on closer inspection cottoned onto something which looked like cache material! It was, and the container when pulled out was covered with ants. Thanks for the effort that’s gone into compiling this one. Worth a favourite. #5685. TFTC.
On a fairly random caching trip, no particular objective, just wanting to get out of the house. Stopped to check on caches and found this less than 300m away. Would be rude not to. Nice camo. TFTC.
Pick this one up on our way home
KGD got this one
EyespyBen and I had a Blonde Look
Nice hide thanks

Yes.....!
What Mrs Jag said!
She brought it back to the car to show me and some slaters( plural ) fell out of it!
Oh well ...not as scarey as skinks I guess!
I just hope they don't multiply!
Very nicely made cache.

Over in Tauranga with ABCDF4 and eyespyben. We decided to come home this way to avoid traffic at the Karapiro turnoff. So a stop here was made. After eyespyben and Mrs ABCDF had an unsuccessful look I was out of the car and grabbed it straight away. Well done on the hide. Thank you for the placement.
Out on a road trip with Supernannny we were just kidding around Waikato and so stopped to find this one. It was raining when we got to gz, and MrsJAG leaped out of the car and soon spotted the cache. Took the cache back to the car to sign and as SN opened the cache she screamed as a slater fell out of the container. We tried to find the slater, but it had disappeared inside the car! Anyway we signed the log and returned the cache as found. TFTC
Parked close by and glanced at the house further down. All must be ok to look around here so I had a closer look and yay found a nicely crafted cache TFTC

This is definitely a favourite area of ours to visit. Having family living in the region gives us an excuse to visit every now and then. Nice quick find here and enjoyed the views of the Kaimai's on a nice fine day, which only served to wet Mr Geckoh's appetite to get up into the ranges and find some caches - but that is for another day, we have playground equipment to deliver to our grandson today. TFTC

Very pleased to have picked this one up today when travelling nearby. What a little beauty - favourite point from me TFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… Usually, Labour Weekend is one of our favourite times to cache. But this time, things are different. (Shock… Horror!) We have other non-caching activities in store for this weekend. We planned this little night raid of the Waikato just to keep ourselves in touch…
We were trying to make haste so missed this on the first pass. On returning we spotted something interesting and found the cache. This was well hidden! Thanks tobesjm and TFTC.

Took the long way home so I could find this cache. Checked another spot first before expanding the search and spotting something out of place. Nicely done, and well constructed. Thanks for the fun hide.
Heading towards Morrisville and pulled over here. Great to see a nicely constructed cache. Thanks for the placement tobesjm??
