Couldnt find the cache, I think it may be washed alway or maybe my vision is washed away, Dunno
Theres a sign at the top and the bottom of this track stating that it is close but its been pushed aside and the track seems safe to me. Is this a remnant of the 1900s. Log was wet but writable. TFTC
**19,275**Took us longer to locate the right road to find the trail than to locate the cache. Nice quick find at GZ - TFTC
Up this way with KGD and EyespyBen we decided to go over the bridge todayWhat a great day so far Still nice and dry, great hide thanks
On the North Shore with ABCDF4 and KGD for the day, after realising it was up there we went and found it ,lovely view.
Up and over the bridge with ABCDF4 and eyespyben. Yep strange pole placement. Lokked for some time but must have had my eyes on backwards. Eventually grabbed by Mrs ABCDF4. Thank you for the placement.
The title says it all, but it took us a few moments to find as we it blended in with the environment. Thanks for bringing us her and TFGC. Found with Lis's Crew on a sunny winters day.
The plan this weekend was to head to Auckland Friday evening with Yvettetb. Saturday we had a lovely day caching around the Northcoate area with great Harbour Bridge views from all over the place. Sunday we went geocaching in the Riverhead/Kumeū area before heading north again.
Like Yvette said, obvoius from the title, but it took us a while to even find this hint item. I might need that spec savers visit after all. Thanks for your observant eyes and another hide in the area we're exploring today

I’m not sure it’s capable of telegraphing anything hanging around as it is, nonchalantly leaning, daring you to go off track albeit for just a tiny bit, like someone far too comfy propping up a bar. One has to look skyward to confirm the imposter and wonder if it’s found succour in the not too deep dark forest.
After finding the nearby sister cache headed this way. Cache soon in hand. Missed the return bus by 1 minute so caughht the ferry 5 mins later back in to town. Thanks and another dot day completed slowly getting thrte to fill in the grid
Came down the track from the top and also overshot before making a quick find once I noticed the obvious spot on my way back up, nice hide here, cheers
A few days in Auckland for a wedding means I can do a few caches as well.
I was appalled to see that someone should poison trees on the path. If it was the neighbour I hope he got taken to court at the very minimum. Thanks for the hide.

Found on a beautiful sunny day in Birkenhead. Shocked to see the notices about trees being poisoned in the area. No pen on me but took a photo of GZ if need be. TFTC
Almost missed the pole I was too interested reading the signs on the illegally poisoned trees. Cache was buried a bit but I don't mind getting my hands dirty. Sat on the path to sign the log and had just finished when a pair of muggles appeared.
Kiwiscot clan wandered over from Another strange place foreshore! to find a strange place for a pole for sure which we surely did. TFTC
I popped out this Xmas afternoon for an hour, or so, I pick up a few finds, before starting Xmas dinner. This was my first stop. I parked up the top snd took the path down to GZ. On my way down to GZ I was shocked to see two council notices about illegal poisoning of a couple of native trees. Anyway, I overshot GZ initially; missed the obvious I did. Retracing my steps I spotted GZ and then the hide. Cheers for the cache placement!
Just a short walk to find this one. A quick find after spotting the pole, then back up the steep path. TFTC
Parked near the entrance to this little pathway and headed on down. Stopped at a strange pole initially before I realised the GPS wanted me to carry on. Very quiet area so could make a peaceful find, sign and replace. TFTC
Most surprised to get a joint { FTF } here with Jag50 this morning.
We both did other things before we met up at Gribblehirst Park Ad Lab.
Then as we came over to the North Shore we saw these 2 new ones !
What an extraordinary place to see this type of pole!!!!
Mrs Jag soon made the find while I still hadn't realised this was a pole not a tree!
Many thanks G-2 ...good spot!

Was out and about on the Shore with S/N collecting a few caches on our way. After a leisurely start to the morning, we noticed that FTF was still up for grabs so headed over to try our luck.
While S/N was still reading the hint on her phone, MrsJAG had spied the POLE and soon had the cache in hand. We opened up the log and were pleasantly surprised to find it was blank. A joint {FTF} with S/N.
We carried on down the track to further explore the area.
