Logs
Whilst Tjay and the oldest went to home bay for the tree planting the youngest and I took the small walk around the base of Mt Aubrey. Weather was amazing and our youngest loved being free to explore the track.
Out for an evening walk with rattll, around the coast at Whangarei Heads. Quickly spotted the hiding place at GZ, but had to use stealth to avoid the attention of fishermen on the wharf. Even so, one of their dogs was keeping an eye on our activities. All good in the container. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
I parked up for the night and headed out for a late afternoon/early evening walk with matagouri, enjoying the beautiful scenery as we walked.A great place to sit and enjoy the views. Thanks for putting a cache here
Nice to grab this one, as it was missing previously. Easy Peasy today, as it was left out exposed. TFTC!
Nice to change a frown face into a smile face on this lovely morning. Also a first time to be the first to sign a new log. Not a FTF but still a fun milestone. Thanks for hiding and maintaining
Checked whilst passing today. Cache was indeed missing, so replaced with a similar example.
Well, we sat here to let the roadworks muggles past ( filling potholes) but didn't manage to find the cache
I'm back up in my home town of Whangarei for the weekend, visiting family. This afternoon I headed out to Whangarei Heads for some exploring and caching, including walking around this series of caches around Reotahi... an area my parents once owned a section many years ago. With the hint, I quickly spotted this nicely hidden cache. TFTC!
What a cool little find...we didn't understand the bench until we looked hard. Happy times onto the next one.
Quick find with kan0e ekitten and LI0Npaw. The bench proved useful to me while kan0e was looking for the cache from the road. TFTC.
1823. 12:20 pm. A light rain falling as we scrambled for the find. Signed KGeL. TFT(trail)C.
Glad it wasn't me driving. Thanks KR. He After a picnic lunch spent watching red billed, black billed, and black backed gulls. Great to see all 3 groups. Favorite for the cache presentation. Thanks 0BS0B8
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache.
Ms_KR and I are off on our annual pilgrimage to Auckland to visit family. Up to Northland for a few days, cruised to Whangarei Heads and back via a Celebration Event in Onerahi. Another great day.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. .

Out and about with the kids doing the walk around Reotahi. Decided to grab the caches at the same time. A few muggles ahead of us fishing and a few walking today but they didn't really pay any attention to us. With the hint this cache was quickly located. Signed and replaced. TFTC
Saw notification of these new caches pop up in my email and thought "that's a track that I didn't know about". With the weekend upon us we spent most of it working on a garden project before deciding to take a break late Sunday afternoon to walk this small part of the Te Araroa trail.
Parking at the Whangarei Heads Pioneer Church in Stuart Road was the starting point for our evening walk and cache hunt. The start of this little expedition is an easy walk along Stuart Road towards the jetty.
The cache GZ was easily spotted so we hoped the cache would be an easy find also. Once "up standing" and looking over my shoulder I saw something that could hide a micro. Success... and happy after the initial DNF at the pump station cache. TFTC

As I was heading towards this one I was reading the clue and wondering how I could do the required maneuver without looking suspicious infront of the fishermen. Luckily as I got closer, I realized I was out of sight of them so free to search in peace. Had a quick sit until the nearby walker had gone past me. Then it was a quick find at 8.23am for my third {FTF} for the day. Thanks for this little series
