Found as part of the VIIPERS group after competition of the AdLab. Thanks for the educational tour.
I love the peace and serenity of Botanic Gardens and how amazing to find these here. Nice to have an AL-Bonus that inspires one to know whats in there. Out on a multi mission squeezing in caches on a busy tour itinerary. A quick enough find after working out the right level. Glad my muggle buddy loves the long history celebrated on Norfolk so here we are. And for me its like Norfolk has been a myth or has at least has been in the imagination mirrored by faded school lessons for so longnow the dream to visit Norfolk Island is real! The holiday suddenly looks busy busy with a schedule of tours, events and 70+ caches to find. From the first step on the island everything has been fabulous. Cache found quickly and logged as VIIPERS - a crew of caching buddies from Vic and Tassie ( who include cybergran V, SciFiRulz, Riddell, icybeetas Weirdobiker) TFTC and the fun.
Thank you endeavour3 for showcasing the beautiful Botanic Gardens via the Adventure Labs.We had our lunch there and enjoyed the scenery and the serenity. It was great looking down into the Discovery Centre and seeing the lovely stained glass displayed below.Maybe next time we will venture down and explore it but today is cache time!Certainly earned another favourite point for this series. Thanks from the Viipers: Val, Ian Icy, Pam, Evelyn, Ronice, and Sylvia in absentia.

This was a quick find of a cache in good condition and the log signed as Viipers to save space. Thank you endeavour3 for the adventure lab and for placing and maintaining this bonus cache as it enhanced our visit to this beautiful island.
A group of caching friends are visiting from the mainland and enjoying the scenery while caching. The log was signed as team (viipers) who include cybergran V, SciFiRulz, Riddell, Ronice88, icybeetas and myself.

My buddies: bella at waggyNorfolk is gorgeous! A QAEPAG that we spotted from the car window. Just being too short, I couldn't reach it from the car window and needed a hand hahaThank you endeavour3, for creating, placing and maintaining this cache. I have enjoyed finding it and visiting this spot.Follow my story on Instagram @AlphaDeltaIndigo
After an early start for the sunrise from Mt Pitt Adi and I cleaned up the nearby caches including this one. Easy parking and a quick find and sign. TFTC
Here we learned some interesting info about some different trees. We spent a fun and productive week geocaching on Norfolk Island, as well as seeing the spectacular views. We also did several tours and other activities on offer, which highlighted different aspects of the island life and history. Thanks for this cache.
#14413 9:20What a beautiful botanic garden and discovery centre. It felt like I was walking through a tropical rainforest. The discovery centre was excellent, with informative displays and a beauiful glass sculpture of the island. Of course all information for the AL was collected and the bonus cache was found.Worth a FP. TFTAL and TFTC Endeavour3.
Found it with goingplaces2 & ilook4geo while on a 7 day epic trip with 33 other caches exploring this beautiful Island. Thanks to the CO for the cache.
Found this cache with ilook4geo and Geologic2. Enjoyed the walk through the gardens and also spent some time in the Discovery Centre. Thanks go to endeavour3 for showing us this island feature.
A beautiful location that revels another facet of this special place. The Discovery Centre was superb - excellent displays and interpretation.
Learned enough about the gardens to know wher it hides its cache. Found with MummPenny. Thanks endeavour3.
(2 of 32 Today - including 17 Adventure Labs)Day 3 on Norfolk Island- and out gain with the *Woof Patrol* (aka **Calypso 62**, **Jackscruff**; **Goldberry17**, **FunFurMe**, **chookie** & me). After the early morning event - you do realise not everyone drinks coffee - we headed up to Mount Pitt, then cleared a few more back at Kingston after our historical tour there.Put a huge dent in the caches on this island today. Maybe I will manage to find them all. But we have a fun group to cache with - and one that takes the time to appreciate the locations we visit. And got to join **Goldberry17** on her 1000th find! HUZZAH!###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###OK, we squibbed this one a bit as we spotted it before actually finishing the associated AL.Well you can be lucky!Added my ink to the log, and headed in to the Gardens.SLTNLNTFTC###START OF ADVENTURE LAB SECTION###After finding the bonus, we snaffled the associated AL sections, which were:# A Step back in time# Discovery Centre# Tree Fern Valley Circuit# Samsons Circuit# Rainforest Gully Circuit
#6071What a lovely find after completing the Botanic Garden AL. Norfolk Island is such a special place. I'm loving my second visit here and picking up more of the caches that weren't here last time. Thanks for the geo-fun endeavou3. ??????

#7573 NI Day 3With our afternoon Convict Settlement Tour finishing a little earlier than expected, harveyt2079 and myself looked for some suitable caching targets to take advantage of the remaining daylight. We chose the Botanic Gardens AL. Quite a nice setup here but the onset of drizzle caused us to rush. However, with a quick find of this bonus and still plenty of daylight to spare, we headed uphill towards Mt Pitt.TFTC endeavour3
????Botanical Gardens surprisingly serene on such a sunny, blustery windy day! Discovered so many interesting items, NI history, flora n fauna ?? A do again to take it all in! Really enjoyed this! SL ??TNLNTFTC Endeavour3 ?? ????
First geocaching stop this morning was the Botanic Gardens. I had been told by friends who have previously visited NI that this was a spot I would really enjoy. Hey I enjoyed all the 'spots' but this was a different type visit. The answers to the questions were easy to find and did involve some walking in the gardens, but not enough in my opinion. I would have liked to have spent much more time here and apart from small entries elsewhere into the gardens my green fingered soul did not see enough during the week.So that's another tick in the reasons to visit Norfolk Island again column! So it was off the the Bonus GZ.Hmm, well I have to admit that Gatherer Hade and I did find it before the rest of our group arrived, having spotted something very suspicious looking while we were waiting. Hence we did it all in reverse order - bonus then the questions, but all was correctly completed in the end.TFTC and AL# 6011
#7469- At the Botanic gardens, so how could we pass up doing this one. Such a beautiful peaceful spot. Thanks

Thanks for bringing me here, if there wasn't an AL here I likely wouldn't have come, alas, it's a beautiful area. Can't get over how green & luscious it is here
After having visited the Botanic Garden and solved all the waypoints, we calculated the coordinates for this bonus cache.
In 9 trips to Norfolk, this is my first time in the Botanical Garden. I found easily after completing the Adventure Lab and then re-covered a bit better after signing the log.
Had a great walk through the Botanic harden for the AL. Had to wait a couple days to avoid muggles at GZ but logged this AM, tftc. Last find for my 2023 NI adventure as will be doing my 300th find back on the mainland with Portstevo Will bring Portstevo to NI next time so I can grab the last caches and he can find them all!!
I wasn't quite sure what the adventure tour was so took a little while to google how to solve the answer although having all the answers onsite. A beautiful walk, I really loved the Botanical gardens. Thank you
T-Tech and I are visiting Norfolk Island for our 40th anniversary. We arrived from Brisbane and are staying for 2 weeks at Endeavour Lodge, and plan to get some R&R, see all of the sites, learn the history, and gather every cache here so we can claim the Se Dun Challenge Today we headed up the north-west coast to Anson Bay. At the end of our day we took a slight detour to visit this cache, as we had already completed the AL. A quick find in the first spot I checked, then we had a quick look at the information building. We'll be back another day to walk through the Gardens when we visit Mount Pitt and Mount Bates. TFTC and AL, endeavour3.
Over with IolantheK from Brisbane celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary [^]After getting all the WPs sorted in for the AL we plotted the final [^]At GZ we didn't have to search for long before IolantheK made the find. The cache in good condition [^]TFTC endeavour3

# 8904 Today I joined iPlod65, Joolay, barb2e and contesta on the first full day of our Norfolk trip. It was just stunning out there today and we're starting to be able to find our way around. This morning was an orientation tour which helped a lot and was just great. Some logs signed collectively "Dem CBR".A quick find here. Thanks endeavour3 for the Mystery Cache
Wasn't sure what the first half day on the island would look like for Mrs Gunnie and I, or whether any icons would be gleaned. After sorting the accommodation and nipping into town for a SIM, we headed to the botanic gardens for a wander around. Aha, great idea I thought...
We walked the entire gardens and I answered the lab questions as I went, noting the bonus cache info, as you do. Back at the starting point, I calculated GZ and headed off to attempt to find the cache. I found GZ nice and easy, had a look around and quickly spotted a likely hiding spot. A little reveal work and voila, container in hand. [^]
I etched my name in the log, returned as found and we headed to the west of the island for sunset, not that the cloud helped with that this afternoon.
A milestone cache for my first physical container on Norfolk Island. This find marks my 3000 unknown cache. Pretty happy it was in a unique location.
Cheers endeavour3.

Todays touring of NI by caching started at the Botanical Gardens. A place we probably wouldn’t have visited otherwise. Very interesting, beautiful and learnt more about the birds we are seeing on our travels. Had to return later in the morning to sign the log due to muggles in the carpark. Favourite point from us and TFTC
Nice walk in gardens while waiting on cyclone, quick easy find left pathtag tftc
A long hike from the carpark for us here, but loved the hide. Interesting to learn there is a great variety of pants in the gardens, or should that be plants. Tftc.
After a wander through the botanic gardens and perhaps a bit too much searching Just_Jess! spotted the hide and braved the cobwebs. We almost needed a tool to reach the cache so added some extra support. TFTC
Nice easy find a couple of days after completing the adventure lab.
Thanks for bringing us back.
Thanks for bringing us back.
I had to make a return trip to find this bonus cache after completing the AL - the perils of not having mobile data while caching. Found very quickly, then it was off to Mt Pitt to continue my caching adventures. TFTC.
Did the adventure lab the other day, passing this way to head up the mountain for another wander down to red road and stopped in to grab this bonus cache.
Thanks for the cache, always fun to find one on this wonderful island

On 15 October 2022 a new batch of prisoners were shipped out of Brisbane to spend 7 days incarcerated on Norfolk Island. It has now been 7 nights and countless days into their sentence at Ocean Breeze Cottages.
The prisoner thought completion of Se Dun had been achieved. But wait there is more (just like those TV adds.) It seems the Gardens have reasons to be revisited. Fortunately, the work earlier in the week resulted in the Garden Guards providing documentation which was very useful for this unexpected bonus.
Now for one quick final expedition on NI the prisoners have now served out the entire sentence. Even a FTF before exiting NI.
