We are in QLD for a few days caching and are concentrating mainly on Adventure Labs, earth caches and Virtual's as there is no muggle problems with these types of caches. We had a great time doing the Adventure Lab but when we checked the map we could not see any mysteries for Bluey and assumed it was off line. When we started to log todays caches Diane realised the bonus was a Multi, bugger. At least we have the coordinates for our next visit. Many thanks anyway arewethere?

Completed the Bluey Brisbane AL this morning. Worked out the numbers while sitting at Ashmore Library. Headed off to GZ. Parked and headed to GZ. All of a sudden I worked out where I was. You should put dangerous area here. I only saw one danger running past. Soon at GZ and the cache in hand. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks arewethere?. All good with this Bonus cache

The AdLab was fun when I did that yesterday. Today I returned to the area to grab this bonus.I guess being a work day everyone was at work as there was no one around when I was walking to GZ and finding the container.Even on my walk out I didn't see anyone. At GZ I found the cache nicely tucked in it's little spot and all was good with it.TFTC and the AdLab.

25/4/2024 Find #6994A day out to grab a few numbers today before the weekend. Working with very young children, Bluey has become a well-known staple in conversation, and we have perhaps partaken in an episode or two for the kids. Ok so o admit, they are enjoyable and relatable for the adults too. Which is why Bluey is just so darned popular! And how cool is it that she is a locally created character/ production?!Not to mention the amazing connection you and your geopup have here!I had done the rest of these labs a good while back now. However I still had one more to go today before heading off to the final. Parking the car, I made the short walk up, and up some more, to GZ, where I was able to make an easy find without worry of muggles. Thanks for the cache arewethere?.

I completed this adventure Lab sometime back and completely forgot when i went in search of the final the area was closed off with road works going on. I had been out caching at the Botanical gardens and while driving through some backroads this multi popped up on the GPS. A quick look and I realised the coordinates must be stored away somewhere. So off I went, this time able to drive to the starting point and then a little morn movement for my back. Just what the Doctor has ordered. Cool

Down in Brisbane for a Christmas party and we had some time to get some caches beforehand. I didnt realise we had so many famous landmarks in Brisbane, thanks for the tour! Despite the heat I was keen to grab the final for this ad lab so JDavs waited in the car while I took a walk. I had to wait for the cache guardian to scurry off before I could retrieve and sign.Tftc arewethere?

I needed a Multi today for one of the many challenges i am working on and last night i was able to figure out the final with the help of google and some logic so today i decided to take my E bike out to do a big circle starting at Windsor then picking up one of the waypoints to do the lab cache and then headed to the Paddo for a chrsitmas party . After that i picked up the next waypoint then this multi and then the final 3 waypoints. It was a real test for my bike with some big hills and a bit of mountain bike riding. I jumped in the pool as soon as i got home and now exhausted but happy. Interesting to hear the link between the CO's dog and Bluey, Will have to watch with my grandson. This was great fun and giving it a FP for all the fun

After an interesting AdLab with Miss Google trying to get me to stop in a tunnel rather than on the surface, this was a quick find in an I testing part of Brisbane. Thanks for the cache

Thankyou for placing this cache and for the smiley. An easy find after the AL which had google maps wanting us in the legacy tunnel as it is directly below one of the sites.

We completed the associated AdLab quite some time ago but never got around to coming to find this bonus cache. In preparation for a multi-day hike next month, Mr DisSister and I have been finding new tracks to practise on each weekend and when we spotted this cache on the map, we decided this would be perfect for today. We headed up the hill, finding the right tracks to get us to GZ where we found the cache neatly tucked away. After signing and replacing we continued on to explore all the remaining nearby tracks in this piece of bushland. Unfortunately Bluey wasn’t around when my kids were young so we missed experiencing that wonderful show. Thanks arewethere?

I had completed the AL a few months ago and after two big days of geocaching on the weekend, I was looking for something quick and easy to find today to continue my caching streak. Willis007 was happy to join me as she too hadn’t found this one yet. So with Willis007’s dog Bella enjoying the walk too, we quickly found the cache. Tftc and AL. My grandson is just starting to get interested in Bluey.

I completed this series some time ago and had this multi in the solved pile to get back to. Being in the area today after finishing a few on Mount Cootha I made my was to an appropriate spot to park the car.

I was over hill climbs at this stage as I was beat but this looked quiet short and I was keen to have this cache marked off.

I passed a muggle out walking his dog on the way up but other than that it was a nice quiet spot to sign the cache and turn this into a smilie

A big thanks to the cache owner for making this series available to be found.

With an evening to fill in, I took a loooksee at the AL here - and then a bit of a night-time wander int he woods to see Bluey's home - nice series, good final spot (for me)

Thanks arewethere? for entertaining me at this location.
Cool *{Overall find #11052}* Cool

I had pedaled around the AL earlier this morning before a nearby event. The CO was at the event and I checked that I would be able to ride to GZ. I think the young fella on the full suspension mountain bike was a tad surprised as I cruised by him on my skinny wheel rigid hybrid. Twisted

Nice quick find thanks to a good hint. Thanks for an easy and enjoyable AL too.

I was in need of some exercise after the Christmas celebrations so thought I would head out to this bonus after completing the AL a little while age. All was good with the cache, log signed & all returned as found TFTC

After the event today I set off to do a couple labs and a multi for the day. This adventure lab had me driving all over the place checking out items of interest. I was lucky to start out so the final was closer than from where I started. So many “Bluey” spots.
The final was a nice little walk and an easy find once I read the hint. Glad I completed this one and thanks for the bonus to the lab.

I had offered to have the Itty Bitties for the day to give their parents a child free day in the lead up to Christmas. Little Miss Attitude is a big fan of Bluey, so we headed off on the adventure, collecting the answers for the final along the way. Much time was spent at Woolcock Park, playing in the playground before moving on to our next waypoint. At our morning tea stop, we worked out the final cords for this cache. We headed over there and found a plade to park the geomobile. We headed up the track and were soon at GZ. There, the Itty Bitties spotted the hiding spot quickly. Little Miss Attitude added our name to the log. With everything returned as found, we continued on our way. TFTC

Took me many weeks to complete the associated adlab.
After the final WP today I went for this cache as well.
Happy that it wasn't as hot as the last couple of days as I made my way to GZ
Quick find and back down the hill again.
Find number 28291 for me.
Thank you arewethere? for hiding this geocache.

Having completed the very enjoyable Adventure, I soon had a final location… well that seems doable…

Geepers first suggestion of where to park was nice enough… but I was pretty sure I could get closer… so I ignored the suggested route to the cache and went my own way…

A short amount of up and I soon gad the container in my hand…

I love Bluey… I’m sure this will be the first of many Bluey themed caches across the city…

Tftc…

After completing the AL series I sat and worked out the new location for this bonus cache. I put the numbers into the NUVI and the new area looked good so I headed there and parked as close as I could. and headed off in a straight line to GZ. I was half way there and looked ahead and thought "You really want me to go there? But it is only a T2."

I double checked my numbers and then decided that there must be an easier way. I headed one direction and the terrain rating did not improve so I headed the other and found the "correct" route. I knew I really should have brought the hiking pole from the car especially as I got closer to the cache.

Luckily, I spotted the likely hiding spot as I approached and soon had the cache in hand. I took the easier route back to the car.

After a great AdLab and bonus at Bellbird Grove, I was keen to push my luck on a Saturday afternoon and go for another series.
My kids missed the Bluey era, but we watched some last night (after it had been referenced in the American show, Abbott Elementary: a very funny episode if you haven’t seen it). We also watched the Auslan episode, which is amazing.
Anyway, off I went, relying on the Waze app to steer me around efficiently: hadn’t been right next to the water tower before, though I’ve been to the big tree nearby at least three times for caches; thanks for the big geofence around the church; I know the Golden Crown from a previous cache and stopped in at the convenience store for a drink; Woolcock Pk was full of activity on a Saturday afternoon but luckily I found a good carpark and didn’t have to go far; and then the library also had lots of kids using the swings today.
I was a little surprised at the Final location (not the ‘Bluey house’?) but keen for more steps today.
The cache is well concealed and in perfect shape so TFTC: nice work in promoting a Brisbane icon!

*FTF* First to Find at 06:14 hr.

Managed to complete the Adventure Lab across Friday and Saturday and it made it a few enjoyable stops. In my stage of parenting, Bluey hasn’t made a feature yet, but I’m sure it will just be a matter of time.

I noted this cache published last night, and did perform the calculations to see where it landed. Well what do you know; I was only in that area a few days ago, and I would have walked nearby to it too. In fact, I was scoping out the area to leave a blank geocache myself, so I was glad that I didn’t.

So from seeing it published, I was empty on fuel from completing a couple of hikes, and I had already lead myself to bed. At least a good night sleep meant I had a natural early start, and so it was only a short drive and walk to get to GZ. No issues with finding the cache, although I think it was the perfect sized container for that crack! Thanks!

T-Tech and I completed the AL on Saturday morning before heading to Mount Cotton for the weekend. This morning we saw this Bonus had been published so we crunched the numbers and decided to call by on our way home. An easy walk brought us to GZ and the cache was quickly located. TFTC and AL, arewethere?
