Good one.

29-Feb-24
I was on my way over to a *Leap Day* event at Ringwood Lake... and was purposely early enough to stop for some caches along the way... particularly as I had forgotten about the *Leap Day Souvenir* and needed some additional finds. This was my third stop... and as I walked towards the cache I had a sense of *deja vu*... I was sure that I had been here before for cache. Then I remembered... unlike today, muggles had been playing at the basket ball hoop... and so I had walked off without even bothering with a DNF. Today was easy with no one around... Thanks **seagull_lad** for putting this cache here.

After an errand in Ringwood that turned into a wild goose chase, trying to find a part for my school bus, I took a slightly longer route home via a couple of caches. This was a nice quick find in the deserted park. All in good dry condition. TFTC seagull_lad

29-Dec-23
We bought an e-bike and this was my first ride other than the day we bought it. It's such a fun strange feeling, being able to ride up hills without breaking a sweat! It'll be helpful for me to be able to keep up on bike rides now. This was the first cache of I'm sure many to come that I found while on the new bike Smile I wasn't the only one out on a bike today as there were a couple of little girls learning to ride along the path nearby. Thankfully they were more interested in not falling over than what I was doing. Thanks for placing the cache in this sweet little park!

25-Dec-23

04-Dec-23
Should have the new container out by the end of next week, there's been a lot on. Thanks for being patient!

24-Oct-23
It might actually be a little longer. I have my final exams at the moment so I'll enquire to see if I can get help from a friend.

11-Oct-23
In light of the DNFS I'll make time this week to go down and investigate the cache. Hopefully everything is all good!

11-Oct-23
Unfortunately the cache is missing, I'll be able to make another container within two weeks. I'll disable for now and hopefully it'll be up and running again soon Smile!

10-Oct-23
Searched all over the obvious place that the coordinates sent us to. Couldn't find.

23-Sep-23
Came... and walked on without stopping... muggles at GZ!

29-Aug-23
Well bother, this is a bit of a grumble! I'll have to bring BlueBM back here with his eagle eyes.

10-Aug-23
Found it, Good night walk

06-Aug-23
Found on a pleasant afternoon's walk with my faithful geoGroodle, ahead of a visit to the dog park.

On arrival the nearby sporting feature was in use, so we headed off for a circuit of the park. Soon enough the sporty person moved on, so we headed over towards GZ. We then had an extended period of waiting for the dog walking person who suddenly appeared to loiter, talk to another person, have their dog do anything but walk and generally take...well... an extended period. Still, all in the name of patient engagement with life so all good. Eventually the moment came and we seized it, quickly finding the cache and doing the requisite signing duties. TFTC Smile

Found at 15:29
Luckily when I arrived there were no muggles around and I was able to search in peace. I took a couple of laps of the park on my way back to the car.

Heading to a party. Not my party. Not one for Heymissjo either. Only Ge0Bug was invited. But we were a little early. So we thought we'd see what smileys might be about. And this was perfect.

The 2 young ones played on the playground while the eldest played within the warm comfort of the GeoMobile. Meanwhile, the 3 intrepid geocachers had their eyes on the treasure on the far side of the park.
Mud and party shoes
Catjump basketball
Thank you

Nanas are the best
My first cache hide was a tribute to my beautiful Nan. I loved spending school holidays with my grandparents and was exceptionally close to my Nan even during my adult years, speaking to her most days until she passed away eleven years ago. She managed to hold on until the birth of my second child, and was delighted to meet my son.
If my Nan was alive she would have loved to cached with me for she loved the great outdoors and soaking up the sunshine. Thanks for sharing your special cache with us.

After a previous DNF tonight on this freezing evening, I walked over to this one instead, this time a nice quick find. Had the log signed and replaced as found in no time.

Replaced the ziploc bag inside with a fresh new one as the old one was torn down the side.

Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the logbook nice and dry.

I came out to give the geo dog a walk and we walked around the park. There was someone playing basketball so we did not have a seat. As I wandered past I saw the cache and grabbed it as I walked past. I continued on until I reached another seat and then sat down to log the cache. I then did the same in reverse. The young basketball player looked a bit bemused but did not seem too interested. Thanks seagull_lad

Grub62 and I sat down and waited and waited but no football was played. A very nice park was seen though. TFTC.

22-Mar-23
Today I was on a mission to find caches that I needed to finish my 360 degrees from home (5 degrees in total) and I had three dates required of when caches were placed - to find. Finding caches that Bunadoorian hadn't found previously added to the complexity.

Wednesdays have recently become our morning tea out with friends - but as they have just left for a road trip with their caravan to WA we came exploring before stopping for our morning tea.

After morning tea - this was our 8th find this morning and my third degree from home - 120-121 degree. I soon had the cache in hand- log signed while enjoying the view! TFTC and for bringing us here - seagull_lad and geo-nan.

16-Mar-23
This was the second last cache for the day and I was a bit footsore, so I jumped on the excellent Ringwood loop bus, which took me close to GZ. Great spot for a cache and a lovely park here.

25-Feb-23
Today we had a calendar hole to fill, and as we have a limited amount of caches nearby, we were saving this for such a day.
Just as we had parked for this, it had begun to rain. So we hurried to gz and made a quick find with isadarren.
Thanks seagull_lad for placing this cache and taking us to this park.

19-Feb-23
Found it

04-Feb-23
I headed out for a couple of hours today mainly to find a mystery cache to fill a calendar day but had to stop at others along the way and this was one of them.
Park was totally deserted with this short winter spell we are having in the middle of summer so the find was nice and easy.
Thanks seagull_lad for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

03-Feb-23
Cool spot

30-Jan-23
There was a little bit of activity in the park near the playground when we arrived but all was quiet at GZ. Lyn made a quick find and we could sign the log. Thanks to seagull_lad & geo-nan for the cache.

Out and about with Rebel Acts once again to have some laughs and put some smiles on the map.
After attending a local geo event we did a few of the surrounding caches before the day got too hot.

Cheers for the cache

The dogs and I enjoyed finding this little park today. We sat on the seat and watched a family playing in the playground, and signed the cache before walking the circuit.
Thanks for showing us this area, seagull lad & geo-nan. I can see why you enjoy it so much.

17-Nov-22
Thanks seagull_lad and geo-nan for placing the cache in this park for us to find .. no muggles about today, perhaps because it was a little wet underfoot but at least the rain held off.

05-Nov-22

Think this is my third trip to this reserve, across the past six years. Great location for a cache and a gentle stroll. Tftc

01-Nov-22
Parked around the corner and made my way to GZ. Stopped for a break and checked that there was no muggles watching as I made the quick find. No games on today. I think (just like my own backyard) this reserve could do with a bit of a mow.

Thanks for bringing me here by placing this cache, seagull_lad

I had to double check my GPS brought me to the right spot, as I'd visited this park back in September to scope it out for a potential spot to plant a Cache.

Sure enough though, there it was ! Guess I'll have to look further afield for a new spot.

Great camoflauge though, I had to do a second lap to see it.

28-Oct-22
We spotted this on our map while caching in the area and were so excited when only two other cachers had found it! Super exciting to get third to find. A quick spot in the rain led to a speedy sign and return to the car. Thanks seagull_lad and geo_nan.

25-Oct-22
Lots of fond memories of this park that I grew up near. Used to ride my bike around the bike track when I was a kid, we used to build forts with the freshly cut grass clippings and play on the play ground which used to have a steel slide that would burn your bum on a hot day. The park was surrounded by giant pine trees for as long as I can remember. They've all gone now.
Headed out on the tail of a thunder storm, light rain, and no one around. Easy find. Thanks for the cache seagul_lad!
