WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 78 - Mount Magnet day. I stayed here an extra day so I could take a day trip North to Cue to visit the second last county in WA for me. Without the caravan, the trip went smoothly and I managed to get all the caches I went to and a set of Labs around th Historic town of Cue. I then headed back south and after passing two HUGE mine trucks using the whole road, ventured into the Tourist Road caches north of Mount Magnet. There are some sad and interesting places in there. I went back to the van park for lunch and then went back North gain to try my luck at the Granite caches. Some of those were difficult to fins and I did miss two of them. I ended the day in the sun outside the van and then cooked dinner at home. Tomorrow is the start of the journey to the coast after the final Mount Magnet town caches and fuel. I made it to Cue, and the mornings caching began properly. This seemed like a pretty big complex. The cache hist was seen and opened without my problems. Thanks for the cache Moneybox48466.3 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2010 Biker Patch A#181**Albida**

In Cue enjoying the sunshine and warm days. Found the cache in good order. TFTC
We are having a little bit of time off from helping our friends in Nanson we decided to head north to try and collect a few more LGA's and Lab caches and anything else that pops up on screen
This was our first traditional cache in Cue this morning and this site certainly has had a colourful history and we bet that the three nurses and orderly back in that time when there wasn't any OH &S on the goldfields would have been kept very busy with a lot of injuries and illness's.
There isn't much left here to know that it was a hospital except for the information on the cache page and ond for the signpost and this is while we are still so interested in geocaching nearly 20 years after starting as it brings you to places that you may never have seen otherwise.
Many thanks Moneybox for the history and the great hide, a favourite point from us.

Good hint nice easy find this would’ve been a beautiful old building in its day. Thank you for bringing us here.
Our second day in Cue and we found a few caches. Thanks to the owner for the Cache !
A late start heading to Three Springs on a Friday night to start a big weekend of driving with the goal of picking up the cache Rock B35 - located 100km north of Pindar.
We overnighted on Friday in Three Springs and then headed via a large number of backroads to Cue arriving late Saturday and a big trip planned home via Mount Magnet.
Had a great time seeing lots of sights and chasing down plenty of older and remote caches.
Thanks to the local COs for their hides.
Nice hide moneybox.

Out and about again, a busy day hunting caches far and wide. Did heaps of km today with geo-son doing L-plate hours of driving - I’m still alive.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

I’m a mechanical fitter from the area and found this by accident on a jog! Excited to join this worldwide game
Nice quick 2nd find for the day. I love your caches and how you are using what is already in place. TFTC TNLN
Quick find on our way home - this old place was still standing when BoyFromTheBush was small… if the walls could talk! SL TFTH
Wahoo another *FTF* with Leega. We made our way back into Cue from your garden rock cache and straight out the other side to this cache. We parked a couple hundred metres from gz and made the short walk. Once the we made another nice quick find and once again great effort with the host. We opened up the cache to once again find an empty log book. We signed your log book and claimed the *FTF* at 0900. We returned your cache back to where it calls home. Once again great effort with the host, great location and great history. Another favourite point coming up when the truck drops off a fresh batch. TFTC Moneybox
Joint *FTF* with axell33. The double! Awesome. After Garden Granite Rock, we came here to find another cache waiting patiently to be found and it was at 0900h! This was a nice quick find and had a bit of a look and rummage about this very interesting history with ruins from our harsh history! Loved the hide and the history! Thanks for the hide Moneybox.
