Well how to make caching even more interesting? Do it in the pouring rain andngo to an unfamiliar area haha! Found it hard to get the right spot to pullover for GZ so had to circle back round and wait for cars to pass. Finally managed and them cache was easily found. Folks mist have thought I was mad! Mad enough to mark a find TFTC and the fun!
Yep, GPSr wanted us to go deeper than necessary into the bush like several others before.Fast find after reading previous logs.TFTC We are loving these short multis.
Down in Melbourne enjoying the autumn weather and the various caches on our hitlist. So many new multis over this way since our last visit so we set about doing a few as they are our favourite type of cache.A busy little road at gz so waited for the flow to disappear before making the find. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the multi placement.
Another good multi. We dodged the workers mowing and soon obtained the required information. Off to GZ we went and after a few minutes searching located the cache. On a number of trips to and from Melbourne we took the opportunity to divert and collect a cache or two on our journey. These are some of the caches we found on these trips.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Pinkpiggy7.**SKI Pair****
*Found on the 16 Sep 2023 @ 3:23 pm.**Cache find # 15064.*While I was down this neck of the woods, I decided to find a few more before heading for home. This area was full of muggles last time I was here so I by passed it, turns out that it would have been a problem as there wouldn't have been any muggles at the final GZ.Cache was found without any issues.**Thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
After attending an interstate funeral (virtually - technology these days!), I set off for a nice long drive to the event in Bunyip. A lovely dinner with good company was had, and I set off for a couple of other finds on my way home.
After DNFing the previous multi I set out for this one. I gathered the required info under torchlight and set off to GZ just as it started raining.
The GPS was bouncing around here but wanted to send me much deeper into the bushes than was necessary, and by the number of geotrails I’d suggest I wasn’t the only one. After a fruitless search, a PAF from an earlier finder indicated that GZ was much closer to the road than the GPS would have you believe.
Found and logged!
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Grub62 corrected the coordinates then a bit of a drive. Then I nimbly leapt over the culvert, as if it was more like a stumble. Oh well I did find the cache. TFTC.
Filling in some time before the near by event - Bunadoorian and I came and did the calculations for this cache. We went in search and finally Bunadoorian found it first. TFTC and for bringing us here Pinkpiggy7
I found your cache and signed the log Pinkpiggy7, thank you so much for placing it.
Beautiful Winters day so decided clean up all the new caches in my area.
Sl thanks for the cache.
Sl thanks for the cache.
The coordinates were calculated and a short drive we had the cache. Out cache with d@geo and gwd.aussie. Thanks Pinkpiggy7
Heading homeward bound after completing the AUSLAN Geoart series. Got final cordinates but headed into town grabbing a couple of addition caches and a drink before making our way to the gz for the find.
Found with gwd.aussie and Sharon14 (sometimes written as D@G & S14)
Thanks Pinkpiggy7

Decided it was time for a bit of a slow caching day today with ilook4geo as we had some logging to catch up on and some caravan maintenance jobs to do as well. just a few around Bunyip went on the search list. Easy to work out and easy to find. Another multi successfully found. Thanks go to Pinkpiggy7 for this cache as well.
Fine day today - woohoo! Did some caching around Bunyip with goingplaces2 for the morning. Found this one in good condition and replaced it as found after doing the log signing bit. TFTC.
Opted to walk instead of drive - wasnt long before I hit GZ. Overshot this one at Gz and was about to give up when I found it on the return journey.
Catching up on some very late logs.
Recovering from surgery and needing to walk we combined this with the fact we needed a multi today so headed off to Bunyip to try our luck.
The 2009 fires were something no one will forget, even if they were well away from them.
This is a fantastic memorial and a great way to thank those that risked everything so as to try and keep others safe.
It did not take long to collect the information but we decided to drive to GZ as I was not up for that much of a walk,
Once there we located the cache and the log book now contains our name.
Once again our thanks Pinkpiggy7 for showing us this location.

A drive out to Bunyip in the afternoon to fix up an old hi-pressure cache.
This gave us the opportunity to catch up with surefoot24 and TEM for a bit of caching.
We grabbed a feed in town before heading here for this fantastic geocache.
Thank you for bringing us here Pinkpiggy7.
The roses are in bloom and they are quite magnificent!

We stopped to replace a nearby cache before heading into Bunyip for dinner and a couple of caches. This one was found after we had eaten. surefoot24 and n0w0rries wandered over to gather the information and then we went for a drive to GZ.
We remember these terrible fires vividly. We were out at Chum Creek, working in a wildlife shelter for 18 months afterwards. So much devastation and loss of life. What a great memorial.
Thanks for placing this cache and highlighting this area Pinkpiggy7.

These fires were indeed significant in the district and closed many parts of the park for a long time. There’s been too many big fires like these lately and we certainly need to remember them. The coordinates were sorted out quickly in this lovely little park before having to negotiate the railway works to get to the final location. Luckily the road near GZ wasn’t too busy tonight so N0w0rries and I made a quick find before moving on. Cache and contents in excellent condition.
In one last big day out for the year, buhfuhguh and I sent off 2022 with a trip to Warragul in the morning before gradually making our way around to Hastings to secure some of the last Community Celebration Events available to us alongside some miscellaneous local hides.
We stopped by the memorial for a bit of counting that ended up being easier than we thought it might be!
Once gz was revealed, we did a couple of other local hides before driving over to this one.
We overshot it at first before a U-turn took us straight to where we needed to be.
I hopped out of the car, took one step in, and spied a familiar container.
The logbook was signed before I retreated to the air-conditioned car!
Thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for hiding this multi!

Out and about today with Brain in tow. With two celebration events on at a reasonable distance we decided why not. So with Warragul and Hastings routes mapped out we were off caching. Perfect weather and smiles about, probably should have put sunscreen on earlier in the day. Regardless had a great day out with great company. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure

One challenge that I had never thought that I would even complete was the Multicache Month Challenge Cache. However this year I've been trying to do more Multicaches. After chatting with a friend I checked and it being the 22nd of December I've already found 19 Multicaches, more than any other month. As such time to collect some more Multicaches today.
Think the gardeners were even more pleased than I was that the rain had stopped. I was more glad that they were not near the Bushfire Memorial. As I was able to work out the final quickly. Parked on the wrong side of the road and it was way to busy to rush across the road. As such, I drove off and did a U-Turn. Then my car protected me while I grabbed and signed the cache. As soon as I started off again, the rain started pouring down again, perfect timing
Thanks for the cache Pink Piggy 7

Out on another of our Sunday caching adventures, we had an early start chasing a few Side Tracked caches all over the place before heading to the Year of the hide 2022 event, after that we concentrated on some Bayside caches.
This is one of the caches found today.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache.

Out and about with Rebel Acts putting some smiles on the map. Early start to the day but definitely worth it to tick off a few more sidetracked caches.
Cheers for the cache

I took the new car out for a drive down the freeway today and needed a multi so this one was it. A couple of people in the park where the clues were gathered but luckily the cache was in a different spot and after a short drive it was in hand and the log signed.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

I've been out caching today with tiz13 in bunyip state forest well for some exercise and after leaving the area and turned for home we learned that a new cache was born of the multi kind and after having my arm twisted l quickly chucked a U turn and we started to study the cache on the way found an appropriate parking space and bolted to this lovely little memorial tiz quickly did the sums then off to GZ where after a short search we had it in our hands very happy to get a very unexpected FTF with tiz after a big day out... TFTC pinkpiggy
@FTF@ gone at 6pm with Kashbound
So the days caching adventure in the Bunyip state Forest had ended and Kashbound was driving us back to the valley, I checked my emails and saw that their was a notification for a new cache in Bunyip WT and it was only 10 minutes old... Kashbound come on I say FTF - you got to turn back. Nah 999Hunter will be all over it he says ...no i say I think he might be tied up elsewhere. Chuck a U turn we are only 20 minutes off..so I hold on with tender hooks as we rush to GZ I tell Kashbound that I'm am ready for a tackle if it comes to that..the knowledge that we are technically not in our territory does briefly enter my head.. but it's all part of the game. Having pre read the page it didn't take long to collect required information and set out. Locating the cache took a bit longer, but eventually was found and signed. What a fitting end to a great day out exploring chasing caches.
